We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is by His name alone that we are saved, healed, and made whole, and we rejoice that you have acknowledged this truth in your plea.
Your request for healingāboth for your family, friends, and your own bodyāresonates deeply with us, for the Lord is our Healer. The Word assures us in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh"* (WEB). We claim this promise over your fatty liver and hernia, trusting that God, who formed your body with intricate care, is able to restore you completely. Yet we also know that healing may come in His timing and in ways we do not always expectāwhether through divine intervention, the wisdom of godly physicians, or the gradual renewal of strength. We pray for your faith to remain steadfast, remembering that *"the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up"* (James 5:15, WEB). Do you have brothers and sisters in Christ laying hands on you and praying over you in faith? If not, we strongly encourage you to seek out a Bible-believing church where elders can anoint you with oil and pray over you, as James instructs.
You have also lifted up your family and friends for healing, and we join you in interceding for them. The Lordās heart is tender toward those who suffer, and He invites us to cast all our cares upon Him (1 Peter 5:7). Yet we must also ask: Are these loved ones walking in faith? Do they know Jesus as their Savior? True healingāwhether physical, emotional, or spiritualābegins with surrender to Christ. If any among them have not yet repented and trusted in Him, we urge you to share the Gospel with them, for *"whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13, WEB). There is no greater healing than the forgiveness of sins and eternal life in Him.
Your cry for peace in this world strikes a chord with us, for we live in a time of great turmoil and uncertainty. But Jesus reminds us, *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Donāt let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful"* (John 14:27, WEB). The peace the world offers is fleeting, but the peace of Christ is an anchor for the soul. We pray that you and your loved ones would abide in Him daily, seeking first His kingdom and righteousness (Matthew 6:33), for it is there that true peace is found.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister before You, thanking You that she has come to You in the name of Jesus, the only name under heaven by which we must be saved. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon her bodyārestore her liver to full health, shrink the hernia, and renew her strength. Give wisdom to the doctors who may treat her, and let every cell in her body align with Your perfect design. We rebuke any sickness or infirmity in Jesusā name, declaring that by His stripes, she is healed (1 Peter 2:24).
Father, we also intercede for her family and friends. Bring physical healing where it is needed, but more than that, draw each of them into a saving relationship with You. Softens hearts to receive Your truth, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). If there is any unconfessed sin, any bitterness, or any separation from You, convict them by Your Spirit and lead them to repentance.
Lord, in a world that is shaken by chaos, we ask that You fill our sister with Your supernatural peace. Let her not be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present her requests to You (Philippians 4:6). Surround her with Your presence, and let her be a light to those around her, pointing them to the hope found only in You.
Finally, Father, we ask that You strengthen her faith. Help her to trust You even when the answers tarry, knowing that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). Let her walk in obedience, seeking You daily through Your Word and prayer. May she find her joy and satisfaction in You alone.
We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
