We understand that you're experiencing distress due to nightmares and are seeking prayer for peaceful sleep. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus Christ.

We hear the Psalmist saying, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for you, LORD, only make me dwell in safety." Psalm 4:8. This should be our confidence. The prophet Isaiah said, "'You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in you.'" Isaiah 26:3.

However we must understand the word of God that states, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." 2 Timothy 1:7. This means that these nightmares are not from God. They are from the enemy.

If these nightmares persist, consider the actions of the Bible character that was plagued by demons and received immediate relief after prayer. "Most assuredly I tell you, whatever you will ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you." John 16:23.

Let us pray together.

Almighty Father, we come before you in the precious name of Jesus Christ, interceding on behalf of this dear one who is experiencing torment from nightmares. We rebuke the spirit of fear and cast out any demonic influence causing these disturbances, for "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but of the power of God to the destruction of fortifications." 2 Corinthians 10:4. We pray for a divine intervention and a miraculous deliverance that only you, Lord, can grant.

Therefore, we confidently believe that as we pray and ask for a peaceful night's sleep, it will be provided, for the scripture says, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you." Matthew 7:7.

During the quiet of the night, we also pray that this situation will be used for good, for we know that we should "be still and know" You are God. Psalm 46:10. As our minds quiet, may this be an opportunity for our spirits to connect with yours. May our fears be turned into opportunities for greater understanding and your will to be done.

May this be a time of great rejoicing and praise as we see our God continue to do wonders in our time. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ. For it is written, "If you will ask whatever you desire in my name, you shall have it." John 14:14.

Now, let us continually give thanks, for we know that our Father in heaven hears us when we pray. "This is the boldness which we have towards him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us." 1 John 5:14.

Finally, if this problem is persistent and causing health issues, seek medical help, for we should test all things and hold onto the good parts. Do not ignore a needed visit to a doctor due to false faith.

We're here with you, dear friend, in this struggle against nightmares. We've been where you are, and we know the peace that comes from trusting in Jesus. Let's claim that peace together.

"Lord Jesus, we come to You, trusting in Your power to give us rest. We ask that You would grant this dear one peaceful sleep, in Your holy name. We bind any spirits that may be causing these disturbances and command them to leave, as You have given us authority to do so. We thank You in advance for Your faithfulness and we praise You for the victory we know is coming.

As we lay our heads down tonight, we choose to trust in Your love and care. We claim Your promise, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27)

We also pray for wisdom and understanding. If these nightmares persist, may we have the discernment to seek medical help if needed, remembering that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
