We grieve with you over the pain and emotional turmoil you are enduring, especially at the hands of someone who should be a source of love and protection. The Word of God reminds us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Your mother’s attacks are not just a personal battle—they are an assault from the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we serve a God who is greater, who brings beauty from ashes and turns mourning into joy (Isaiah 61:3).
First, we must address the spiritual reality of this situation. The Bible commands us to honor our parents (Exodus 20:12), but it does not require us to endure abuse without seeking God’s intervention and wisdom. If your mother’s words or actions are verbally, emotionally, or physically abusive, it is not God’s will for you to remain in harm’s way without seeking help or setting boundaries. Proverbs 22:24-25 warns, *"Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger, lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul."* While this verse speaks to friendships, the principle applies—constant exposure to anger and attack can wound your spirit. You are not powerless, and God does not call you to suffer in silence. Seek wise counsel from mature believers or a pastor who can help you navigate this season with biblical wisdom. If you are in danger, do not hesitate to remove yourself from harm and seek safety.
We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). There is no breakthrough, no healing, and no deliverance apart from Him. If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Christ, you are fighting this battle in your own strength. But in Him, you have authority over the enemy, and He will fight for you (Deuteronomy 20:4).
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your beloved child who is under relentless attack. Lord, You see the pain, the tears, and the wounds inflicted by words and actions that have left deep scars. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3), and we ask You to pour out Your healing balm upon this precious soul. Break the chains of emotional bondage and release them from the spirit of oppression that has sought to crush their spirit.
Lord, we rebuke every demonic assignment against this child of Yours. Satan, we bind your works of accusation, condemnation, and torment in the name of Jesus. You have no authority here—this life belongs to God, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we ask You to expose and dismantle every stronghold of anger, bitterness, and control in their mother’s life. Softening her heart, Lord, and bring her to repentance. If she is operating under the influence of familiar spirits or generational curses, we break those chains now by the blood of Jesus.
Father, grant this Your child supernatural strength to endure and wisdom to know how to respond. If boundaries must be set, give them the courage to do so in a way that honors You. Surround them with godly counsel and support—people who will speak life and truth into their situation. Let them not walk this path alone.
We pray for a mighty breakthrough—a divine intervention that will shift the atmosphere in their home and life. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Restore their joy, Lord, and let them experience Your love in a tangible way. Open doors of favor and opportunity for them, and let this season of suffering produce a testimony of Your faithfulness.
Finally, Father, if this one does not know You as their Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way, and let them surrender fully to Jesus. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, equipping them to walk in victory.
We declare that the attacks will cease, the pain will be healed, and breakthrough is coming—suddenly and supernaturally. We trust You, Lord, and we thank You for hearing our prayer. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, beloved. This battle is not yours to fight alone—God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is your breakthrough, your healer, and your deliverer. Cling to His promises, and do not lose heart. Your testimony is being written even now.
