Nigerian holocost

We join you in thanking the Lord Jesus for His mercy and grace even in the midst of such deep sorrow and suffering in Nigeria. Our hearts break for what our brothers and sisters are enduring and we cry out together for the Lord to intervene with His wonder working power. We believe with you for a miracle of both physical deliverance and eternal salvation, for nothing is too hard for our God.

We lift up the persecuted church, the grieving families, the wounded and the displaced before the throne of grace. We ask the Lord to be their refuge and strength. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 34:17-18 says The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. We pray that every heart that is broken and every spirit that is crushed would feel His nearness now and know His comfort. Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We pray together for a wonder working miracle of salvation in that land. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we ask for Your mercy to pour out over Nigeria. Have mercy on the innocent, bring justice against the evildoers, and restrain the hand of violence. We pray for the salvation of souls, even of those who persecute Your people, that they would be convicted of sin and turn to Jesus and be saved, for it is Your desire that all should come to repentance. We pray for the government and authorities to act with righteousness and courage to protect all people and to uphold justice. We pray for the church there to be strengthened in faith, to not grow weary in well doing, and to overcome evil with good as Romans 12:21 teaches. And we pray that the blood of the martyrs would become seed for a great harvest of souls across Nigeria.

We thank You, Lord Jesus, that You hear our prayers because we come in Your name, the only name by which we have access to the Father and by which we are saved as Acts 4:12 declares. We trust in Your unfailing love and we continue to believe with our fellow believer for Your mercy, grace, protection, and miraculous salvation to be made manifest. We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We are standing with you in this prayer for Nigeria. Thank you for bringing this heavy burden before the Lord with thanksgiving even in sorrow. We hear both grief for what so many are enduring and faith that God can still bring wonder working salvation and mercy.

When the news is overwhelming it is easy to feel helpless. We have found that hope is not pretending things are not hard, but quietly trusting that God is still present and still able to work, both now and in eternity. Your prayer reflects that kind of hope.

We will keep joining you in asking for His mercy over communities there, for comfort for those who mourn, and for many to come to know the salvation that is only through Jesus. If the Lord keeps this on your heart, keep bringing it to Him in simple, steady prayer and, as you are able, stand with others who are also praying so you do not carry it alone.

Father, we thank You for Your mercy and grace that never runs out. We lift the people of Nigeria to You, those who are suffering, grieving and afraid. Bring protection, comfort and the saving hope of Jesus where it is most needed. Give wisdom to leaders, strength to Your church there, and sustain those who are interceding from afar. Let Your will be done and Your mercy be seen. In Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you Lord Jesus for your mercy and grace. Believing for a wonder working miracle salvation, IJN Amen

🔥Yes, Lord, strengthen us to pray more fervently, Luke 22:43, in Jesus' Name, submit to Jesus, our pastoral authorities, and as the church Jesus built, Matt 16:17-18, we RESIST the devil, as it is written, "and he will flee," James 4:7, we resist him firmly in the faith, 1 Peter 5:8-9, plead the sprinkling of Your Your Blood 🩸🩸🩸 Your Name as Jesus having All Authority, Matt 28:18, that the evil one cannot touch them, 1 John 5:18, as Christ is more powerful than he in the world, 1 Jn 4:4, pray Your Armor upon them, Eph 6:12-19, Your Angels, Ps 91:11-12, and 2/3rds of the holy angels is greater than the 1/3rd that fell, Rev 12:4, so Elisha was accurate when he said, "'There are more with us than against us, because the hills are filled with flaming horsemen and chariots all around!" 2 Kings 6:15-17. Ps 104:4, Heb 1:7, Heb 1:14. Our help comes from You, Maker of Heaven and Earth, Ps 121:1-2.

Thank you in advance, Mark 11:23-24, Heb 11:6, in Jesus' Name, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

“'Do not be afraid,' Elisha answered, 'for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.' Then Elisha prayed, “O LORD, please open his eyes that he may see.” And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw that the hills were full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha," 2 Kings 6:16-17.

🙇🏻 Jesus, Arise and Shepherd Your Sheep in the Majestic Name of The LORD Our God 🐑 Micah 5:4, John 10:16, Jn 21:16, 1 Pet 5:2-4, Rev 7:17; ⛓️💥 Remember those in Chains, Hebrews 13:3, Col 4:18... Lord Jesus, thank You that You are The LORD our Shepherd, Ps 23:1-6. You are The Good Shepherd that lay down Your life for us, Your sheep, John 10:11. Thank You that not only do Your Sheep hear Your voice, Jn 10:27, but that You lead them out, and we don't listen to others, John 10:3-4, but only head Your voice and follow You, John 10:27, but that You care for us, Ps 23:3 Isa 40:11, Ezek 34:15, Rev 7:17. Take care of us, defend us, comfort and feed us on wisdom and knowledge, Give Your angels charge over us and our fellow believers in spiritual battles, Ps 91:9-16, Heb 1:14. Strengthen our brothers and sisters, even shepherd the entire flock of God among us, 1 Pet 5:2, help us be on guard for ourselves and the flock of God among us from evil and warped wolves, Acts 20:28-29, by abiding in You and Your teaching, John 15:1-9, studying, obeying and teaching obedience to all Jesus commanded, Matt 28:20. Strengthen us and all in the faith with power and might through the Holy Spirit to know the dimensions of Your love, Eph 3:14-18. Be near those who are in need of deliverance, setting us free by just saying the Word, Matt 8:8, and draw us and all around us to Jesus. Especially draw those weary and heavy laden, that You might give them rest, Your yoke is easy and burden is light, so they find rest for their souls, Matt 11:28-30. Work everything out for the furtherance of the gospel, Phil 1:12.

🧎🏻Grant relief to the persecuted church like You did when the evil king began by laying hands on some who belonged to the church in order to mistreat them, had the Apostle James the brother of John the Beloved put to death with the sword, Acts 12:1-2, and give us testimonies like we have of the Apostle Peter's angelic release from prison in Acts 12:3-17 and the Apostles Paul and Silas' earthquake resulting in the conversion of the Philippian Jailer and his household in Acts 16:27-32. Hebrews 10:34. Help us sympathize with those in prison and joyfully accept the confiscation property, knowing that we ourselves have a better and permanent possession, Hebrews 10:34. Call and grant boldness give them visits, as Jesus said in Matthew 25:36, "I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you visited Me." Be their Shepherd even in those situations, Rom 8:38-39.

🙇🏻 Give grace to us all to purposely draw near to You, so You draw near to us, James 4:8. You are the vine, we are the branches; the one who remains in You, and You in them bears much fruit 🍇 for apart from You we can do nothing, Jn 15:5. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, Phil 4:13. Help us keep You holy in our hearts so as to be ready in season and out of season (at any time in any circumstance) to give an answer for the hope within us, with respect, 2 Tim 2:25, so ungodliness glorifies God that it had a good witness before You returned, 1 Pet 3:15-16. Deliver us from evil people and the evil one, temptation and sin. 2 Thes 3:2-3, Matt 6:13, Luke 11:4, John 17:15. Let love abound more in knowledge and discernment so we can choose the best in every situation that gives us a choice, so we may be sincere and blameless until Your Son's return, being filled with the fruit of righteousness, which comes from union with Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11. Let us freely receive Your abundant love and freely give it to others, healing the sick, raising the dead, and casting out demons, Matt 10:8. Not unto us, but to Your Name give glory, do whatever You please, but as the Earth You have given to the sons of men, help us rule in part with You even now, Ps 115:1-18. Perfect our love, for as You are, so also are we in this world, 1 John 4:17. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We join our thanksgivings with yours for the mercy and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and we lift up with you the great sorrow and affliction now in Nigeria. The Lord has not shut His ear to the cry of His people, though the enemy would say He will never move His arm to work deliverance. We have seen again and again that He brings forth His people when the lamb is slain, and His deliverance is effectual because it is all of free grace.

You do well to believe for a wonder working miracle, for our great inexhaustible well is the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. The power to save from sin does not lie in the person saved, it lies wholly in Jesus Himself, and He has but to speak and it is done. As Israel was brought forth, so He still brings forth His own out of the pit. He has found a ransom, His own Son has borne the penalty, and therefore we may not doubt deliverance when God has said it.

We are reminded that persecution, though bitter, has often been the wave that speeds the course of the church, keeping her separate from the world and driving her nearer to her God. How many prayers have been offered up as the result of persecution that would never have been offered else, heaven alone can tell. The tried and tempted man will see clearly that salvation is all of grace, and that if he ever rises from his despondency he can take no honor to himself.

So we point you again to the simple way of salvation set before us in Scripture, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. It is not believing about Him, but believing on Him, trusting in Him, depending upon Him without fear as to present and eternal salvation. Look unto Him and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, for there is one way of salvation for all, by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus. That salvation, when He gives it, is instantaneous and it is perfect and everlasting.

We pray with you now that the Lord would work that wonder in Nigeria, that He would deliver the persecuted, comfort the mourning, restrain the hand of the bloodthirsty, and cause many to look unto Christ and live. May He refine His church through this fire as wheat made more pure after the winnowing, and may He grant that even out of great tribulation many shall be added to the number who joyfully draw living water from the wells of salvation. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, Amen.
