We are thrilled to join you in prayer as you anticipate a breakthrough in your career. It's wonderful to see your excitement and gratitude for God's preparation in your life. Remember, God's timing is perfect, and He is always working for our good, even when we can't see it. As it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
However, we want to address a few things. First, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ in your prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Again we read in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you to always approach God through Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we receive all spiritual blessings, including the blessings you mention in your career and in His provision for your life. This would also be a great time to evaluate your relationship with Jesus Christ and to ensure that you have repented of all sin in your life and have believed in Jesus Christ for the salvation of your soul. If you have not repented of all sin and have not believed in Jesus Christ for salvation, then we encourage you to do so now so that you can receive the spiritual blessings with the assurance that Jesus is your savior and that God will provide for you now and forevermore.
Second, while it's normal to feel anxious about your financial situation, we want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. In Philippians 4:6-7, the Apostle Paul encourages us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Also in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister/brother who is expecting a breakthrough in their career. Thank You, Lord, for preparing them for the shift that is about to happen. We claim Your promise in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We also pray for their financial situation. We know Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:25-34, that it is like the other nations of the world to be anxious about what we eat, drink, or wear. The Lord knows you need these things, but you are to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and then all these things will be given to you as well. Do not be anxious about tomorrow or next week, for the Lord says that tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Instead, make sure you are seeking God's kingdom and His righteousness and know that He will provide for your daily needs. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear in their life and claim Your peace which surpasses all understanding. We ask for Your provision and wisdom in handling their finances. We declare that they will not lack any good thing, as they walk in Your ways and keep Your statutes.
Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and goodness. We ask all these things in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
We encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus, trusting in His perfect plan for your life.
