We are truly moved by your request and we are here to stand with you in prayer for your precious new grandson. Let us remember the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the resurrection and the life John 11:25 WEB. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can boldly approach the throne of grace.
Let us first acknowledge that God is the ultimate healer and the giver of life. As it is written in Psalm 147:3 WEB, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We trust that God has a plan for your grandson, and we stand on His promises for healing and restoration.
However, we must also remember that our ways are not God's ways, and His thoughts are higher than ours Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB. Sometimes, God allows trials and tribulations to enter our lives to draw us closer to Him and to bring glory to His name. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up this precious new life to You. Lord, we thank You for the miracle of life and for the gift of this child. We ask, Father, that You would surround him with Your healing presence and Your loving arms. We pray for complete healing and restoration in his tiny body, and we ask that You would give him the breath of life.
Father, we also pray for the family. We ask that You would fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding, and that You would comfort them in this difficult time. We pray that You would give them the strength and the faith to trust in You, no matter what the outcome may be. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
Be encouraged by John 14:1 WEB "Don't let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me." This is a time to have faith and trust God and His plan. It is also a time to examine our own hearts and ask if we are believing, in our heart, in Jesus Christ.
For it is written in Romans 10:9 WEB "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We must believe in Jesus Christ to be saved and to have access to God. There is no other name for Salvation Acts 4:12 WEB. We must be obedient to the Gospel.
