We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern and faith, lifting up your situation to Him who holds all things in His hands. First, we thank God for the peace that has come to your home now that your daughter has been released from the lease. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We claim this peace over your apartment and your family, trusting that God is working even in the details of your living situation.
Father, we ask that You provide stability and security for this home. We pray that the financial concerns regarding the apartment would be resolved according to Your will. If it is Your plan for them to remain there, we ask that You open doors for the resources needed to sustain this home. We also lift up the personal injury check that is expected. Lord, You are the God who supplies all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We ask that this check arrives in Your perfect timing and that it would be sufficient to meet the needs at hand.
We also bring your college classes before the Lord. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." We pray that You would grant wisdom, focus, and understanding as you study. May Your Holy Spirit guide you in all your academic pursuits, and may you prosper in the way that brings glory to Your name.
For your son and his schooling, we seek Your divine direction. Last year’s experiences of bullying and mistreatment are deeply concerning, and we ask that You heal any wounds, emotional or otherwise, that he may carry. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." We pray for protection over your son and ask that You reveal the path he should take for his education. If this school is not the right place for him, we ask that You close that door and open another where he can thrive in safety and peace. Give you both clarity and discernment as you seek God’s will in this matter.
Lord, we also want to gently remind you of the importance of seeking God’s will in all things and coming to Him in the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only through faith in Jesus that we have access to the Father and the assurance of salvation. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him, we encourage you to do so. Romans 10:9 tells us, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is a gift from God, and it is available to all who call on the name of Jesus.
We also want to encourage you to seek God’s direction and answers through prayer and the reading of His Word. Jeremiah 29:13 says, "You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." Spend time in God’s presence, asking Him to reveal His will for your life and the lives of your children. He promises to guide you when you acknowledge Him in all your ways.
Heavenly Father, we lift up this family to You now. We ask that You would be their provider, their protector, and their guide. Strengthen them in faith and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. May they see Your hand at work in every area of their lives, and may they trust in You completely. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
