We hear your distress and the intensity of your cry for peace, safety, and freedom from what you perceive as spiritual oppression. First, we must address the language and approach in your request, as some of it does not align with biblical principles. The Bible teaches us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). However, we do not "speak things into existence," "command," "decree," or "demand" as if we hold authority over God or the spiritual realm. That authority belongs to Jesus Christ alone. We are called to pray in humility, submit to God’s will, and resist the devil by standing firm in faith (James 4:7).
You mention "karma," but this is not a biblical concept. The Bible teaches that we reap what we sow (Galatians 6:7-8), but it is God who judges and repays, not an impersonal force. We must also caution against any language that sounds like incantations or spells, as these are not of God. Our words have power, but that power comes from aligning them with God’s Word and His will, not from our own declarations.
You express a desire to change your name, move in secret, and escape to a place where you feel appreciated and at peace. While we understand your longing for safety and happiness, we must remind you that true peace and security are found in Christ alone. Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful" (John 14:27). Running from your problems without seeking God’s guidance may not bring the lasting peace you seek. Instead, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s direction in prayer and through His Word.
You also mention uninstalling a game (Monopoly) as if it were a source of evil. While we should be mindful of what we allow into our lives, we must not attribute spiritual oppression to inanimate objects or games. The real battle is in the mind and heart, and we are called to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Now, let us address the spiritual warfare you are experiencing. The Bible tells us that Satan is a real adversary who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give us life abundantly. We do not need to fear Satan or his demons because greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). However, we must resist the devil by submitting to God, drawing near to Him, and standing firm in our faith (James 4:7-8).
We also notice that you mention the blood of Jesus, which is powerful and effective for our protection and deliverance. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from sin (1 John 1:7) and breaks every chain of bondage. We must plead the blood of Jesus over our lives, our families, and our circumstances, trusting in His finished work on the cross.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is crying out for peace, safety, and deliverance. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your presence and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Protect their mind, heart, and spirit from the lies and attacks of the enemy. We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their family, and every area of their being.
Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and torment in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We break every chain of bondage and every assignment of the enemy against them. We command every demonic scout, creature, or spirit that has been harassing them to flee in the name of Jesus. You have no place here, and you have no power over them.
Lord, we ask that You would reveal Your truth to them. Help them to see themselves as You see them, beloved, chosen, and redeemed by the blood of Jesus. Give them the strength to stand firm in their faith and to resist the devil. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and guide them in Your ways.
We pray for wisdom and discernment for them as they seek Your will for their life. If moving or changing their name is part of Your plan, reveal it to them clearly. But above all, draw them closer to You. Let them find their peace, security, and identity in Christ alone.
Father, we also pray for those who may be causing them harm or distress, whether knowingly or unknowingly. Soften their hearts and turn them toward You. Let them see the error of their ways and repent. If there is any unforgiveness or bitterness in this dear one’s heart, we ask that You would heal it and replace it with Your love and grace.
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that this one is more than a conqueror through Him who loves them (Romans 8:37). We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in their life.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, meditating on scriptures that remind you of His love, protection, and power. Here are a few to start with:
- Psalm 91: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
- 2 Timothy 1:7: "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."
- Romans 8:38-39: "For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God’s love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
We also encourage you to seek out a biblical, Christ-centered church community where you can find support, prayer, and accountability. You do not have to face this battle alone. The body of Christ is here to stand with you and lift you up in prayer.
Lastly, if you have not already, we urge you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. If you have not made this decision, we pray that you would do so today. Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart, and He longs to come in and give you the peace and rest you are seeking (Revelation 3:20).
