We hear your cry for a fresh start, a place of belonging, and the deep longing in your heart to be valued and loved. Your words carry both urgency and hope, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting every desire before our Heavenly Father. But first, let us address some things with truth and love, for the Word of God is our foundation.
You speak of commanding, decreeing, and declaring things into existence, but we must gently correct this approach. While the Bible does tell us that "death and life are in the power of the tongue" (Proverbs 18:21), it also reminds us that "unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1). Our words have power, but they must align with God’s will, not our own demands. We do not command God—we humbly submit to His perfect plan, trusting that He knows what is best for us. Jesus taught us to pray, "Your kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth" (Matthew 6:10). Let us seek His will above all else.
You also express a deep desire for companionship, specifically for a man who will stay with you. While the longing for love and partnership is natural, we must encourage you to seek first a godly marriage, not just a relationship. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If you are currently unmarried, we urge you to pursue a relationship with a man who shares your faith in Christ, one who will honor God in your union. Fornication—sexual intimacy outside of marriage—is sin (1 Corinthians 6:18-20), and we must guard our hearts and bodies in purity until marriage. If you are already in a relationship that does not honor God in this way, we encourage you to repent and seek His forgiveness, trusting Him to lead you into a relationship that aligns with His Word.
Your desire for a home, a career, and joy is beautiful, and we believe God cares deeply about these things. But let us remember that true fulfillment comes from Christ alone. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Salvation is found in no other name (Acts 4:12), and it is the first step to experiencing the abundant life God promises (John 10:10). If you have already surrendered your life to Christ, we rejoice with you and encourage you to continue seeking Him above all else.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our sister who is crying out for a new beginning. Lord, You see her every need—her desire for a home, for companionship, for purpose, and for joy. We ask that You would move mightily in her life, opening doors that no man can shut and providing for her in ways that only You can. Father, we pray for a place where she can put her toes in the sand, where she can breathe in Your peace and feel Your presence. Provide her with a home, whether it be a house or a trailer, where she can rest and feel secure.
Lord, we ask for a godly man to enter her life, one who will love her as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). Prepare her heart for marriage, and help her to wait on You, trusting that Your timing is perfect. Guard her from relationships that do not honor You, and give her the strength to walk in purity and holiness.
Father, we pray for her career as a real estate agent. Equip her with the skills, opportunities, and favor she needs to succeed. Provide her with a reliable vehicle and the financial means to support herself and her children. Lord, we ask that You would restore her joy and fill her with hope. Heal her heart from loneliness and sadness, and remind her daily that she is deeply loved by You.
We pray for her children, that they would see Your hand at work in their mother’s life and be drawn closer to You as a result. Break every chain of discouragement, and let them experience the breakthrough she is believing for. Father, we rebuke every spirit of despair, loneliness, and hopelessness in the name of Jesus. We declare that her best days are ahead, and that You will use her story for Your glory.
Above all, Lord, we pray that she would draw near to You. Let her find her worth, her identity, and her purpose in Christ alone. May she know that she is never alone, for You are with her always (Matthew 28:20). Fill her with Your peace, Your joy, and Your love, and let her life reflect Your goodness to those around her.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to You, and it is through Him that we are saved. Amen.
Sister, we encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Even when the wait feels long, trust that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Seek Him first, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33). Surround yourself with a community of believers who can encourage you, pray with you, and hold you accountable as you walk this journey.
You are not forgotten. You are not alone. God sees you, He hears you, and He is moving on your behalf. Keep your eyes on Him, and watch as He transforms your life in ways you never imagined.
