We hear your cry for a fresh start, a place of healing, and a life that reflects God’s goodness after enduring deep pain. The desire to move forward, rebuild, and provide a better future for your children is noble and aligns with God’s heart for restoration. However, we must address some concerns in your words with love and truth, as Scripture calls us to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15).
First, your language of "speaking, creating, commanding, and decreeing" into existence is not biblical. God alone is the Creator (Genesis 1:1), and while we are called to pray with faith and trust in His promises (Mark 11:24), we do not "demand" or "declare" our will as if we hold authority over God’s plans. Our prayers should be submitted to His will, not our own desires elevated above His sovereignty. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven"* (Matthew 6:10). True peace comes from surrendering our plans to Him, not from trying to control outcomes.
You also mention the blood of Jesus, which is powerful and central to our faith, but we must ensure that our reliance is on Christ Himself—not just as a tool for our desires, but as our Lord and Savior. Salvation comes through faith in Jesus alone (Acts 4:12), and it is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as your Savior, we urge you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your forgiveness, and surrender your life to Him (Romans 10:9-10).
Regarding your move and career, we pray for wisdom and provision. If obtaining a real estate license is part of God’s plan for you, He will open the doors and equip you (Proverbs 3:5-6). But we must also address the bitterness in your words toward your family. While the abuse you endured is real and grievous, Scripture calls us to forgive—not for their sake, but for our own freedom (Colossians 3:13). Holding onto unforgiveness only harms you and gives the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:26-27). We rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell you your worth is tied to your past or your current struggles. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has a future for you (Jeremiah 29:11).
We also caution against the idea of changing your name as a means of "moving forward." While there may be practical reasons for a name change, true transformation comes from Christ renewing your heart (2 Corinthians 5:17). Your identity is found in Him, not in a new name or location.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this dear one, lifting up their pain, their dreams, and their need for healing. Lord, You see the wounds of their past and the weight they carry. We ask that You would bind up their broken heart and set them free from the chains of bitterness and unforgiveness (Psalm 147:3). Help them to release their family into Your hands, trusting You to deal justly and mercifully with all things.
Father, we pray for wisdom as they consider this move. Guide their steps and open the right doors for their career, their children, and their future home. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Give them clarity about the real estate license and the path ahead, and let them walk in the confidence that comes from trusting You.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of oppression and despair that has lingered in their life. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every demonic influence to flee in the name of Jesus. Fill them instead with Your peace, Your joy, and Your hope. Remind them daily that their worth is found in You alone, and that You are making all things new (Revelation 21:5).
We pray for their children, that You would protect them, provide for them, and draw them close to You. May they one day look back and see Your faithfulness in their mother’s life. Help this one to model Christlike love, patience, and perseverance for them.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would be their strength in weakness, their light in darkness, and their refuge in every storm. Teach them to pray not with demands, but with surrender, saying, *"Not my will, but Yours be done"* (Luke 22:42). May they find their identity, their purpose, and their joy in You alone.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to seek a local church community where you can grow in faith, find support, and walk alongside other believers. God’s timing is perfect, and He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He is leading you to a brighter future.
