We hear your excitement and desire for success, stability, and joy in your life, and we rejoice with you as you complete your real estate courses. It is wonderful to see your hope for a prosperous career, a loving home, and a future filled with blessings for you and your family. However, we must gently correct some of the language and focus in your request, as it does not fully align with biblical principles.
First, we must address the way you are speaking decrees and commands into existence. While it is good to have faith and speak positively, we must remember that it is God who is sovereign, not us. We do not create or command reality—God does. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 19:21, "There are many plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail." Instead of declaring things into existence, we should pray and ask God for His will to be done, trusting in His perfect plan. In James 4:13-15, we are reminded, "Come now, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow let’s go into this city and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit,' whereas you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. For you ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.'" Our confidence must be in God’s will, not in our own declarations.
We also notice your desire for a "Boaz" and a "cupcake stage" of falling in love. While it is natural to desire companionship, we must encourage you to seek a godly spouse—a man who loves and fears the Lord—rather than focusing on romanticized stages or worldly ideals. Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, designed by God for His glory. In 2 Corinthians 6:14, we are warned, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?" If you are seeking a spouse, we pray that God would bring a godly man into your life who will love you as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). Until then, we encourage you to focus on your relationship with the Lord and trust in His timing.
We also want to address the mention of your cats and the desire for a stable environment. While it is good to care for your pets and seek a safe home, we must remember that our ultimate security is in Christ, not in our circumstances. Psalm 46:1-2 reminds us, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas." We pray for stability and peace in your life, but we also encourage you to find your security in the Lord, who never changes.
Lastly, we must emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father. In John 14:6, Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, trusting in His death and resurrection for the forgiveness of your sins. This is the foundation of our relationship with God and the source of our hope.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the opportunities You have given this dear one. We thank You for the progress she has made in her real estate courses and for the doors You are opening in her life. Lord, we ask that You would guide her steps as she seeks to build a career that honors You. Give her wisdom, favor, and integrity in all her dealings. May her work be a testimony to Your goodness and provision.
Father, we pray for her desire for a godly spouse. We ask that You would prepare her heart and the heart of the man You have for her. May their relationship be built on a foundation of faith, love, and mutual respect. Help her to trust in Your timing and to seek Your will above all else.
Lord, we also lift up her desire for a stable and peaceful home. Provide her with a place where she and her pets can thrive, but more importantly, help her to find her ultimate security in You. May she rest in the knowledge that You are her refuge and strength, no matter what circumstances she faces.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of self-reliance or pride that may be creeping into her heart. Remind her that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17) and that apart from You, she can do nothing (John 15:5). Help her to surrender her plans and desires to You, trusting in Your perfect will.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved. May Your will be done in her life, and may she grow closer to You each day. Amen.
