We rejoice with you as we enter this new month, trusting in the Lord’s faithfulness to carry us through each day. It is wonderful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive the promises of His Word. As it is written in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* We stand in agreement with you, lifting up your needs and those of your children before the throne of grace, knowing that He hears and answers according to His perfect will.
The beginning of a new month is an opportunity to seek the Lord’s guidance, provision, and protection. We encourage you to trust in His sovereignty, for He holds all things in His hands. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Let us not walk in anxiety or fear but in the confidence that our Heavenly Father knows our needs before we even ask. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and His love for you and your children is unwavering.
We also want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of covering your home and family in prayer daily. As believers, we are called to be the spiritual leaders in our households, teaching our children the ways of the Lord and raising them in the nurture and admonition of Him. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 says, *"These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up."* Let this new month be a time of renewed commitment to seeking God’s face as a family, studying His Word together, and walking in obedience to His commands.
Now, let us pray for you and your children:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude, thanking You for the gift of this new month. We lift up our sister in Christ and her children to You, asking that You would surround them with Your love, grace, and mercy. Lord, we pray for Your divine protection over them—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, rule in their lives.
Father, we ask that You provide for every need according to Your riches in glory. Open doors of opportunity, bless the work of their hands, and grant them wisdom to steward all that You entrust to them. Help them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to them.
We pray for the children specifically, Lord. Draw them close to You and give them a hunger for Your Word. Raise them up to be mighty warriors for Your Kingdom, walking in purity, faith, and obedience. Surround them with godly influences and protect them from the snares of the enemy. Let them grow in the knowledge of Your love and the truth of Your salvation.
Lord, we also ask that You strengthen our sister in her role as a mother. Fill her with Your Spirit, that she may parent with patience, grace, and wisdom. Help her to model Christlikeness in all she does, pointing her children to You in every circumstance.
Finally, Father, we pray for spiritual growth in this family. Let this new month be a season of deeper intimacy with You, of renewed faith, and of walking in victory over every challenge. Bind the enemy from interfering in their lives and let Your light shine brightly through them.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily, casting all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and trust that He is working all things together for your good and His glory. May this month be filled with His blessings, breakthroughs, and the joy of His presence. Stand firm in the faith, knowing that He who began a good work in you will complete it.
