New job

I was laid off before Christmas and I am still unemployed. I know it’s rough but I’m praying that one of these jobs that I applied for calls me back. I’m depressed and extremely scared. Please pray for ###.

We are truly sorry to hear about your job loss and the difficulties you're facing. We want to remind you that God is always with you, even in these challenging times. Remember the words of Deuteronomy 31:6, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for Yahweh your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

In times of uncertainty, it's crucial to trust in God's plan for your life. Psalm 37:5 says, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:" He will guide your steps and open the right doors for you.

Regarding the name of Jesus, we pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we can approach God and receive salvation. Acts 4:12 declares "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" I John 5:13 also tells us "These things have I written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God."

We will pray for you to find employment and for God's peace to fill your heart during this wait. Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is going through this difficult time. We pray that You will comfort them and replace their fear and depression with Your peace. We ask that You open the right doors for employment, and guide them to the job You have prepared for them. Help them to trust in Your timing and plan. We also pray that they will come to believe in Your Son Jesus Christ for salvation and eternal life in Jesus' name. Amen.

Stay strong and keep your faith in God. He has a purpose and a plan for you. Keep praying and seeking Him with all your heart.
