We are thrilled to join you in prayer as you seek a new job opportunity as an Executive Assistant. We are reminded from Colossians 3:23-24 WEB: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Firstly, we must address the lack of mention of Jesus Christ in the request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father and the Holy Spirit. In John 14:6 WEB it is written that Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. This is the core of the Christian faith, that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose again the third day. It is only through faith in Jesus that a person is saved and can have prayer requests answered. Furthermore, being a Christian is not just about going to church or having a personal relationship with God, although those are good things. A Christian is a follower of Christ and a disciple. A Christian is obedient to the commands of Jesus and tries to live life like Christ. Furthermore, every Christian should be making more disciples of Christ and teaching them to obey what Jesus commanded. So, we will pray for your faith in Jesus first and then for a job opportunity.
