Your urgent cry for a new and safe home for yourself and your two cats has been heard and is carried with sympathy to the throne of grace. The longing to be hidden from evil, to dwell in peace and quietness, and if it may please the Lord, near the sea, is understood, and the desire that your dwelling should be secret for a season is laid before Him who sees in secret.
We are reminded that our first and truest home is not walls or a place upon any shore, but Christ Himself. He is the City of Refuge divinely appointed for sinners, and divine appointment alone makes the refuge secure. To flee to Him is to be safe, for He shall cover you with His feathers and under His wings shall you trust. Whether by the beach or far from it, whether known to others or hidden for a time, to touch but the hem of His garment is to be made whole, and the blood of Jesus is our shelter, not as a mere word to be repeated, but as the precious price by which we are redeemed and shielded from wrath and kept near to God. He knows every grain of dust and every habitation, and nothing escapes His superintendence.

O Lord God, Thou hast been the dwelling place of Thy people in all generations, hear this prayer for provision and protection. In Thy sovereignty and wisdom provide a suitable home according to Thy good will, a place of safety and quiet for this life and for the creatures entrusted to this care. Spread Thy protection over this household and keep it from evil. Hide it in the shadow of Thy wings where the avenger cannot come. In Thine appointed time open the right door, and grant patience to wait upon Thy will, for at the time appointed the end shall be.
