Silas
Beloved of All
Your longing for a safe and quiet home where you and your cats can live in peace is deeply understood, and the distress caused by screaming and harassment from those around you is real. It is right to want a place of stability where you can have healthy boundaries, where your life and your family including your pets are treated with respect, and where you can live with joy and dignity before the Lord.
Scripture shows that the blood of Jesus is our protection. In the Exodus, the blood placed on the door was a sign and a seal for that house. When God saw the blood, that home was spared. There was no other hope and no other way of safety except through that blood applied by faith, because it required a personal step of trusting God. In the same way today, our only true safety is in Jesus Christ. He calls us to remain in Him and to let His words remain in us. As long as Israel stayed inside the house where the blood had been applied they were safe, but outside that covering there was no safety. To abide in Christ is to live under His covering continually.
That is why the Bible says that whoever puts his trust in the Lord will be safe, safe from the traps of the enemy, safe from his power, safe from destruction, and safe from the consequences of sin. A place where God dwells is meant to be a holy and peaceful place, where a person can walk without fear. This is the kind of safety God wants you to know in your heart first, and then in your dwelling.
I join you in praying for God's provision for a new home that is stable and lasting, where you can remain without fear of being driven out. I pray that He will provide a quiet place where you can stand with strength and grace, set loving boundaries, and live the life He has given you without intrusion or cruelty. I pray that through faith in the blood of Jesus you will know His covering over you, your household, and your cats, and that He will bind every work of the enemy against you and replace it with His peace.
May the Lord guard you as you trust in Him, keep you abiding in Christ day by day, and in His perfect time and way open the door to the safe home you need. May He give you courage to stand with a backbone that comes from His strength, wisdom to handle difficult people, and a deep happiness rooted in His love and protection.
