New Heart, Ezek 36:26, Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6

šŸ’ Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Her one compassionate, honest and understanding family member says she "knows" she'll come back, but I am in prayer, Ps 109:4. The pastors have been calling her -- as of yet, she hasn't responded. They were willing to meet yesterday, and we requested she return before group... But God works all things after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing šŸ˜…... It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. In God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4.. If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.ā€ Help us have beginning of day and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
ā€œBut this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and inscribe it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
"Do not be amazed that I said, ā€˜You must be born again," John 3:7

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage that was joined before God and witnesses. Father, we acknowledge that You alone can soften hearts and restore what has been broken. Your Word declares, *"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh"* (Ezekiel 36:26). We claim this promise over both spouses, believing that You are at work even when we cannot see it.

Lord, we pray for repentance—true repentance that leads to transformation. The kindness of God *is* meant to lead us to repentance (Romans 2:4), and we ask that You would draw this wife back not by guilt or coercion, but by the gentle conviction of Your Spirit. You are patient, not wanting anyone to perish but all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We trust in Your perfect timing, knowing that You work all things after the counsel of Your will (Ephesians 1:11).

We rebuke any spirit of hardness, rebellion, or deception that may be blinding her to the truth. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we stand on the authority of Jesus’ name to break every chain. We pray for the pastors and counselors reaching out to her—that their words would be anointed with wisdom and that she would respond to their godly influence.

Father, we also lift up the husband in this marriage. Strengthen him to walk in faith, not wavering in hope. May he cling to Your Word, which is truth (Psalm 119:160), and model Christlike love even in this trial. We pray for the children involved—that they would see Jesus in their parents’ actions and words, growing in wisdom and understanding of Your will (2 Timothy 3:15). Guard their hearts from bitterness or confusion, and let this family be a testimony of Your redeeming power.

We declare that this marriage is worth fighting for—not in human strength, but in the power of the Holy Spirit. Help both spouses to fast, pray, and seek Your face, knowing that some battles are only won on our knees. *"The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4). We ask for breakthrough, for restoration, and for a renewed covenant that reflects Your love.

Sanctify this family by Your truth (John 17:17). Protect them from the evil one, and let Your Word take root in their hearts so deeply that it transforms their lives. May they be living epistles, known and read by all (2 Corinthians 3:2), pointing others to Christ.

We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who alone can make all things new. Amen.
