Beloved Servant
💝 New Heart, Ezek 36:26, 🙇🏻 Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, 🐉 Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, 🤺 Chooses God's Word over Being own god, Gen 3:5... 🙏 Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help ### one compassionate, honest and understanding family member witness to truth. We forgive for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing. It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual spouse that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.” I still aspire to do morning and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, laughter, joy, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
“But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again," John 3:7.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for your earnest desire to see your marriage restored and renewed according to His perfect will. Your prayer reflects a deep longing for repentance, mercy, and transformation—not just for yourself, but for your spouse and family as well. We stand with you in agreement, lifting this sacred covenant before the throne of grace, where alone true healing and restoration can be found.

First, we rejoice in your recognition of God’s kindness as the pathway to repentance (Romans 2:4). The Lord does not delight in the destruction of His children but desires that all come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). Yet we must also acknowledge that repentance is not merely sorrow for sin but a turning away from it—a complete reorientation of the heart toward God. The new heart promised in Ezekiel 36:26 is not a vague sentiment but a supernatural work of the Holy Spirit, replacing stone with flesh, hardness with tenderness, and rebellion with surrender. We pray that this transformation would be manifest in both of you, that your marriage would no longer be governed by the flesh but by the Spirit, who alone can produce love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

We also take seriously your plea for resistance against the serpent’s lies (John 8:44). The enemy seeks to devour marriages by sowing seeds of bitterness, unforgiveness, and division (1 Peter 5:8). He twists God’s Word, just as he did in Eden, to make sin appear desirable and obedience burdensome (Genesis 3:5). But we are not ignorant of his schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11). We rebuke every lie that says your marriage cannot be restored, that repentance is unnecessary, or that God’s design for marriage is outdated. The truth is that what God has joined together, no man—or demon—should separate (Matthew 19:6). We stand on the authority of Christ’s name to break every chain of deception and to declare that your marriage is under the blood of Jesus, where no weapon formed against it shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We must also address the call to holiness within your union. Marriage is not merely a legal or emotional contract but a living testimony of Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). This means that every aspect of your relationship—communication, intimacy, conflict resolution—must be submitted to the lordship of Jesus. If there has been any unfaithfulness, whether physical or emotional, it must be confessed, repented of, and forsaken. Fornication and adultery grieve the Holy Spirit and defile the temple of God (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We pray that any such sin would be brought into the light, that forgiveness would be sought and granted, and that restoration would follow according to God’s mercy.

Your desire for daily devotion, godly entertainment, and the spiritual growth of your children is commendable. The Word of God is indeed living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). We pray that your home would be a sanctuary where Scripture is not just read but lived out, where prayer is as natural as breath, and where laughter and joy are the fruits of a life anchored in Christ. May your children see in you a marriage that reflects the love of the Father—a love that is patient, kind, not easily angered, and keeps no record of wrongs (1 Corinthians 13:4-7).

We also lift up your request for fasting and intercession. The early church understood that some battles are not won by might or power but by the Spirit of the Lord (Zechariah 4:6). Fasting humbles the soul, sharpens spiritual discernment, and lends wings to prayer, as Tertullian observed. We encourage you to set aside time for fasting and prayer, not as a work to earn God’s favor but as a means to align your heart with His. Seek the Lord for wisdom on how to pray, for He promises that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask, and it will be given (James 1:5).

Finally, we address the foundational truth that salvation is found in no other name but Jesus (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in His finished work on the cross that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). If there is any doubt in your heart or your spouse’s about the sufficiency of Christ’s sacrifice, we urge you to settle this matter once and for all. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no other way to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).

Let us now pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts laid bare, seeking Your mercy and grace for this marriage. Lord, You are the Author of covenant love, the One who binds hearts together in unity. We ask that You would breathe new life into this union, that the hardness of heart would be replaced with tenderness, and that the stony places would become fertile ground for Your Spirit to move.

Father, we repent on behalf of this couple for any ways they have strayed from Your design for marriage. Forgive them for any unfaithfulness, whether in thought, word, or deed. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and restore to them the joy of Your salvation. We rebuke every lie of the enemy that seeks to destroy this marriage, and we declare that no weapon formed against it shall prosper. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we pray for a spirit of repentance to fall upon both husband and wife. Let them see their sin as You see it—not to condemn but to lead them to the foot of the cross, where mercy and grace abound. Soften their hearts, Lord, and help them to forgive one another as You have forgiven them. Teach them to love one another with the same selfless, sacrificial love that Christ has for His church.

We ask that You would raise up godly counsel and accountability in their lives. Surround them with believers who will speak truth in love, who will pray with and for them, and who will walk alongside them in this journey. Let their home be a place where Your Word is honored, where prayer is a priority, and where Your presence is tangibly felt.

Father, we also pray for their children. May they grow up knowing the love of Christ through the example of their parents. Let them see a marriage that reflects Your glory—a marriage where conflicts are resolved with grace, where love is expressed in action, and where Your name is exalted above all else.

Lord, we ask that You would ignite a passion for Your Word in their hearts. Let them hunger and thirst for righteousness, and may Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path. Help them to set aside time each day to seek Your face, to listen to Your voice, and to align their lives with Your will.

We pray for the discipline of fasting to be a regular part of their spiritual walk. Teach them to deny themselves, to take up their cross daily, and to follow You wholeheartedly. May their fasting and prayer break every chain of bondage, bring healing to their marriage, and usher in a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit.

Finally, Lord, we thank You for the promise of a new heart and a new spirit. We claim that promise over this marriage today. Let Your law be written on their hearts, and let Your love be the foundation upon which they build. May their marriage be a testimony to Your faithfulness, a beacon of hope to others, and a living epistle that points the world to Christ.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above every name, the Name by which we are saved, the Name by which we have access to the Father. To Him be all glory, honor, and praise, now and forever. Amen.

We stand with you, dear friend, in your heartfelt plea for your marriage. We echo your longing for repentance, mercy, and transformation, not just for yourself, but for your spouse and family as well. Let's lift this sacred covenant together before the throne of grace, where alone true healing and restoration can be found.

We're struck by your profound understanding of God's kindness as the path to repentance. Indeed, the Lord does not delight in the destruction of His children but desires that all come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). Yet, let's remember that repentance is not merely sorrow for sin but a turning away from it - a complete reorientation of the heart towards God.
