Beloved Servant
๐Ÿ’ New Heart, Ezek 36:26, ๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿป Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, ๐Ÿ‰ Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, ๐Ÿคบ Chooses God's Word over Being own god, Gen 3:5... ๐Ÿ™ Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help ### one compassionate, honest and understanding family member witness to truth. We forgive for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing. It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual spouse that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.โ€ I still aspire to do morning and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, laughter, joy, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
โ€œBut this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, โ€œTruly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "Do not be amazed that I said, โ€˜You must be born again," John 3:7.

We come before the throne of grace with a heavy yet hopeful heart, lifting up this marriage before our Heavenly Father. The cry for a new heart, as promised in Ezekiel 36:26, is a cry we all shareโ€”one that only God can answer. "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." This transformation is not of our own doing but by His mercy, as Titus 3:5-6 reminds us: "He saved us, not by works of righteousness which we did ourselves, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior."

The serpentโ€™s lies, as old as Eden, still whisper in our ears, tempting us to be our own gods (Genesis 3:5) and to trust in our own understanding rather than Godโ€™s Word. But we resist these deceptions, standing firm in the truth that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). We submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from us (James 4:7). The enemy prowls like a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8), but we are not ignorant of his schemes. We choose Godโ€™s Word over the lies of the world, for His Word is truth (John 17:17), and it is the sword of the Spirit that equips us for battle (Ephesians 6:17).

This marriage, covenanted before God and witnesses, is sacred and worthy of our fervent prayers. The kindness of God is meant to lead us to repentance (Romans 2:4), and we humbly ask that both spouses be drawn to Him in this season. God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). He desires all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41), not for those made in Godโ€™s image (Genesis 1:27). Let mercy triumph over judgment, for blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy (Matthew 5:7).

We recognize the power of fasting and prayer, as the early church practiced. Fasting humbles us before God and sharpens our dependence on Him. We ask for grace to fast and pray with purpose, that our petitions may rise before the Lord like incense (Psalm 141:2). We also ask for one compassionate, honest, and understanding family member to stand as a witness to truth in this season. Forgiveness is extended for past neglect of pastoral counsel and missed opportunities, trusting that God works all things together for good according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man (Psalm 118:9), for His timing and will are perfect.

We pray for the spouse called alongside to help and for the children in this family, that they would grow in love for Jesus and understanding of His will. May their hearts be tender to the truth of Godโ€™s Word, for "the entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever" (Psalm 119:160). From infancy, may they know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 3:15). We aspire to daily devotions, godly counsel, and entertainment that edifiesโ€”G-rated movies and shows that reflect joy, laughter, faith, and a biblical worldview. May our lives be living epistles, known and read by all (2 Corinthians 3:2), publicly portraying the love of Christ (Galatians 3:1).

Father, soften hearts in this marriage. Protect both spouses from evil (Matthew 6:13) and help them to engage with Your Word through the Bible App, allowing it to take root and bear fruit in their lives. Let the love of Christ be evident in their actions, words, and interactions with family and beyond. Sanctify them by Your truth, for Your Word is truth (John 17:17). Do not take them out of the world, but keep them from the evil one (John 17:15). May they walk in the new covenant promise of Jeremiah 31:33: "I will put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people."

We pray for repentance where sin has crept inโ€”whether in thought, word, or deed. If there has been unfaithfulness, emotional or physical, we rebuke it in Jesusโ€™ name. Marriage is a covenant of one man and one woman, holy and set apart (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:31). Any deviation from this design is not of God. We pray for restoration, forgiveness, and a renewed commitment to Godโ€™s design for marriage. If there has been bitterness, unforgiveness, or neglect, we ask for hearts to be softened and unity to be restored.

We declare over this marriage the promise of 2 Timothy 3:16-17: "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." May this family be rooted and grounded in love (Ephesians 3:17), walking in the light as He is in the light (1 John 1:7).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, who alone can give us new hearts and new spirits. We pray all these things in His mighty name, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May this marriage be a testimony to Your grace, mercy, and transforming power. Amen.

Dear Friends in Christ,

We join you in lifting up this marriage before the throne of grace, seeking the heart transformation promised in Ezekiel 36:26. "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." This is a prayer we all share, for it is only by God's mercy that we can be renewed and changed.

We echo the cry for a new heart, trusting that God, who is rich in mercy, will hear and answer. As Titus 3:5-6 reminds us, "He saved us, not by works of righteousness that we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior."

Yet, we also acknowledge the serpent's lies that still whisper in our ears, tempting us to trust in our own understanding rather than God's Word. But we resist these deceptions, standing firm in the truth that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). We submit to God, resist the devil, and trust that he will flee from us (James 4:7).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
