New Heart, Ezek 36:26, Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, Good Counsel, Isa 9:6

Good and Faithful Servant
šŸ’ Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Her one compassionate, honest and understanding family member says she "knows" she'll come back, but I am in prayer, Ps 109:4. The pastors have been calling her -- as of yet, she hasn't responded. They were willing to meet yesterday, and we requested she return before group... But God works all things after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing... It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. In God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4.. If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.ā€ Help us have beginning of day and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
ā€œBut this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and inscribe it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.

"Do not be amazed that I said, ā€˜You must be born again," John 3:7

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage that was joined before God and witnesses. Father, we acknowledge that You alone can soften hardened hearts and restore what has been broken. Your Word declares, *"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh"* (Ezekiel 36:26). We claim this promise over both husband and wife, asking that You would breathe new life into this union.

Lord, we see the pain of separation and the longing for repentance and restoration. We stand on Your truth that *"the kindness of God leads us to repentance"* (Romans 2:4) and that You *"desire all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth"* (1 Timothy 2:4). We pray that this season of trial would not be wasted but would draw both spouses to a deeper dependence on You. Father, we ask that You would convict of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), especially where there has been unfaithfulness, hardness of heart, or neglect of Your design for marriage.

We rebuke any spirit of division, pride, or rebellion that seeks to destroy this covenant. Your Word is clear: *"What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate"* (Matthew 19:6). We declare that this marriage is under Your protection and that no weapon formed against it shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We also rebuke any complacency or sin in the life of the one praying—Lord, search our hearts and reveal any way in us that is not pleasing to You (Psalm 139:23-24). If there has been bitterness, unforgiveness, or failure to love as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25), we repent and ask for Your cleansing.

We are grateful for the pastors reaching out and for the family member who speaks hope. Father, we ask that You would multiply their efforts and use them as vessels of Your grace. Give them wisdom, patience, and the right words to speak life into this situation. We also lift up the children in this home—may they see the love of Christ modeled before them, even in this trial. Protect their hearts from fear and confusion, and let them grow in the knowledge of Your Word, which is *"able to make them wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus"* (2 Timothy 3:15).

Lord, we join this request in fasting and prayer, as the early church taught, that our prayers would have wings (Matthew 17:21). We ask for grace to wait on Your timing, trusting that *"God works all things after the counsel of His will"* (Ephesians 1:11). Even when the way seems dark, we declare that You are the God who restores (Joel 2:25) and that Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).

We pray for daily transformation through Your Word, that it would not just be read but lived out. May this family be *"living epistles, known and read by all"* (2 Corinthians 3:2), reflecting the love, forgiveness, and holiness of Christ. Sanctify them by Your truth—Your Word is truth (John 17:17). Guard their minds from worldly influences and fill their home with godly counsel, laughter, and the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Father, we ask that You would break every chain of sin, addiction, or ungodly influence that may be hindering this marriage. If there has been sexual immorality, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus and pray for healing and restoration of purity. Your Word warns that *"marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral"* (Hebrews 13:4). Bring conviction, repentance, and a return to Your design for intimacy within marriage.

We also pray for the one who has stepped away—soften her heart, Lord. Let her hear Your voice above all others and respond to the Holy Spirit’s prompting. May she remember the vows spoken before You and the witnesses, and may she experience the depth of Your love that compels her to return. We declare that *"love covers a multitude of sins"* (1 Peter 4:8) and that Your grace is sufficient to heal every wound.

Finally, we pray for the one interceding—for strength, faith, and perseverance. May they not grow weary in doing good, for in due season they will reap if they do not lose heart (Galatians 6:9). Let their life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may their marriage be a light to others of Your redeeming power.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the One who died to reconcile us to God and to one another. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in this marriage. Amen.

We stand with you in prayer, dear family, as you navigate this trial in your marriage. We echo your cries to our Heavenly Father, who alone can heal, restore, and transform. We claim His promise in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." We ask that He would breathe new life into this union, softening hearts and drawing both spouses to Him.

We pray for repentance and restoration, trusting that God's kindness leads us to it (Romans 2:4). We intercede for both husband and wife, that they would come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4), growing in their dependence on God and His design for marriage.

We bind any spirit of division, pride, or rebellion, declaring that what God has joined together, no one can separate (Matthew 19:6). We stand against any weapon formed against this marriage (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask for God's protection and guidance.

We also pray for the family member who speaks hope, that God would multiply their efforts and use them as vessels of grace. We lift up the children, praying that they would grow in the knowledge of God's Word and experience His love even in this trial.

We join this request in fasting and prayer, trusting in God's timing and His ability to work all things after the counsel of His will (Ephesians 1:11). We ask for daily transformation through God's Word, that this family would be living epistles, known and read by all (2 Corinthians 3:2).

We pray for healing and restoration in every area of this marriage, trusting in God's redeeming power and His ability to make all things new (2 Corinthians 5:17). We ask for strength and perseverance for the one interceding, that they would not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9).

We ask all these things in Jesus' mighty name, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who died to reconcile us to God and to one another. May God's will be done, and may His name be glorified in this marriage. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
