We rejoice with you over this new disciple and your hunger to worship in spirit and truth, for Jesus said the Father seeks such to be his worshippers John 4:23. We are encouraged by your desire to go deeper into the foundations and to see the Word spread quickly.

We join you in prayer for tonight's Bible study and for all you have asked. We pray for grace upon the interpreters, that they would speak with clarity and accuracy, and for grace upon you to learn Spanish with greater understanding and fluency, that nothing of the truth would be lost. We ask for wisdom and revelation for you and for this new disciple, that the eyes of your hearts may be enlightened Ephesians 1:18, and that you both may grow in the knowledge of Him.

We pray for the foundational truths you mentioned, that you would leave the elementary teachings and press on to maturity Hebrews 6:1-3, with true repentance from dead works, faith toward God, teaching of baptisms, laying on of hands, resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment. We especially pray for the new birth of water and the Spirit John 3:5, that this disciple would be truly born again, not of flesh alone but of the Spirit, and sealed and filled to walk in newness of life Romans 6:4.

We pray together for protection, for our Father to not lead us into temptation but deliver us from the evil one Matthew 6:13, and as Jesus prayed, that He would keep us from the evil one though we remain in the world John 17:15. We pray against the deceiver, that ancient serpent who deceives the whole world Revelation 12:9, and against those who hold a form of godliness but deny its power 2 Timothy 3:5, that you would be kept from sin, from evil people, and from demonic influence, and that the Lord who is faithful would guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

We also pray that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it is with you, and that you may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2, that the Word would be received with joy and bear fruit.

We lift up your wife before the Lord with you, for it is His heart that none should perish but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9, and as Jesus taught, it is not the will of your Father in heaven that one of these little ones should perish but that the lost sheep be found and brought home Matthew 18:12-14. We pray that the Lord would open her heart to respond to the Good News, that she would call upon the name of the Lord Jesus and be saved Acts 16:31, and that your life and witness would win her without a word by your godly conduct 1 Peter 3:1.

Father, in the name of Jesus we come before Your throne together. We thank You for this new disciple and for the work You have begun. Pour out Your Spirit of wisdom and revelation, grant skill in the Spanish language and anoint the interpreters, establish this disciple upon the true foundation of repentance and faith and baptism, let Your protection surround you both, let Your Word run swiftly and be received, and draw this dear wife to salvation in Jesus Christ. Keep this household in Your hand and let all be done for Your glory. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

We are really encouraged by your hunger to worship in spirit and truth and to get grounded in those foundations of repentance, faith, baptism and the work of the Spirit. Going to Bible study tonight with that kind of expectancy is a beautiful step.

We are praying with you for tonight, for clear understanding between you and the interpreters, for grace as you keep growing in Spanish, and for wisdom and protection over you both. Language learning and new faith both take time, and we have found that spiritual growth is usually gradual and lifelong, with highs and lows along the way. What helps most is staying close to the core ways God grows us: time in His Word, honest prayer, worship that lifts our eyes to Him, and dependence on His Holy Spirit to make it all alive.

A simple help for tonight could be to arrive a few minutes early to pray briefly with the interpreters about how you will work together, and to give yourself permission to learn at a steady pace. God knows your heart to understand and to be understood.

We are also joining you in prayer for your wife, that she would come to know Jesus, and that the Word would spread and be received as you share it.

Father, we ask for Your covering and wisdom tonight, for clear communication and revelation, for protection from evil, and for Your drawing work in this dear wife's heart. Lead them both step by step in Your truth, in Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your request has been laid before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours in prayer for this night and for the work that lies before you.

We entreat the Father that your worship may indeed be in spirit and in truth, as our Lord declared in John 4:23, not in form only but in the power of the Holy Ghost through Jesus Christ. We ask that He will provide faithful interpreters, men who will handle the Word aright, and that He will give you grace to learn Spanish with increasing clarity, and wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, that you may speak plainly the things of God.

We pray for that great work of being born of water and of the Spirit, and for the foundations spoken of in Hebrews 6, repentance from dead works and faith toward God, the doctrine of baptisms and of laying on of hands, that Christ may be formed in you and in those who hear you, and that none may rest in outward knowledge without inward life. Salvation, as we are taught, is to look unto Him and be saved, for there is none beside Him. It is without money and without price, by grace alone, through faith in Him who bore our sins. Look, look, look to Christ, for whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed, and though sins be as scarlet they shall be as white as snow when washed in His blood.

We ask the Lord to keep you as He promised, not to take you out of the world but to keep you from the evil one, according to John 17:15 and Matthew 6:13, to deliver you from sin, from evil men, from the adversary who is that old serpent called the Devil, and from every appearance of evil. May the Lord guard your going out and coming in, and let no weapon formed against the Word prosper.

We pray with you that the Word of the Lord may have free course and be glorified, as in 2 Thessalonians 3:1 to 3, that it may run swiftly and be received with faith, and that the Lord, who is faithful, will stablish you and keep you from evil.

And we most earnestly bring before God the salvation of your wife. We remember that the Lord is the Shepherd who goes after that which is lost until He find it, and it is not His will that one should perish, as in Matthew 18:12 to 14. We plead household salvation, that as the jailer and all his house heard the word and believed, so it may be with your house. We ask that the Lord will turn her from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God, that with the heart she may believe unto righteousness and with the mouth make confession unto salvation, and be delivered not only from the guilt of sin but from the power and dominion of it, to walk in newness of life.

May the Lord grant you protection, boldness, and joy, and make your Bible study this night fruitful for eternity. We commit you and your wife and all who hear to Him whose honor is engaged to save the meanest of His sheep, trusting that He who has begun a good work will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Amen.
