We join with you in the name of Jesus Christ, bringing your family before the throne of grace, seeking God's will together. We are thankful for your heartfelt prayer and your desire to see your family draw closer to Christ. We stand with you in agreement for clean hearts and steadfast spirits, for the protection, healing, and increase of your faith.
Let us remind ourselves It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is also only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister and their family. We ask that You grant them clean hearts and steadfast spirits. The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid? Of the wicked that oppresses me, my adversaries against me? Let the evil oppress instead of the good, and the wicked instead of the just. We can be confident in the Lord's will for we know You hear our prayers. For it is written, in Psalm 27:1,12 the Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid? You will be confident because you hope in the Lord. Even the wicked shall see and be filled with envy. This we know is our hope to entrust you with our spirit. In Psalm 25:1-2 it is written, To you, Lord, I offer my life. My God, I trust you. Do not let me be disgraced. Do not let my enemies gloat over me.
We pray for Your protection over them, that You would heal them from any afflictions, and that You would increase their faith. As is written in Matthew 17:20 because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. Lord, we ask that You draw each member of this family into a closer relationship with You and with each other, that their bonds may be strengthened in Your love. May the Holy Spirit surround them and deliver them from evil. We thank You, Father, for the blessings and forgiveness You have bestowed upon them.
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord with all your heart, knowing that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in your family. Reminds us of Philippians 1:6 where it is written, being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
Stand firm in your faith, and do not be swayed by the trials of this world. Remember the words of James 1:2-4, Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
Rebuke: Never forget it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God.
