We hear your cry for help and protection, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your request to our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. First, let us address the foundation of your plea—it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is by His blood alone that we are cleansed, protected, and made new. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If you have not already, we encourage you to confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Now, regarding your request for strength to complete the necessary paperwork, file your name change, and seek the court’s mercy in waiving the fees—we declare that the Lord is your strength and your shield. Philippians 4:13 assures us, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* The enemy may send haters, thieves, and obstacles to discourage you, but we rebuke every spirit of lack, delay, and oppression in Jesus’ name. The blood of Jesus covers you, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also lift up your need for protection. Changing your name for safety is a serious matter, and we pray that the Lord would go before you in every legal step, softening the hearts of those in authority to show you favor. Proverbs 16:7 says, *"When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him."* We declare that every plot against you is exposed and dismantled, and that God’s grace is indeed sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking that You grant them supernatural strength to complete every necessary step in this name change process. Lord, we ask that You open doors no man can shut and provide favor with the courts, waiving fees and expediting this matter for their protection. We rebuke every spirit of hindrance, theft, and hatred sent against them, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Cover them with the blood of Jesus, surround them with Your angels, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind.
Father, we also pray for wisdom and clarity as they navigate this season. Let Your grace be their sufficiency, and let them feel Your presence every step of the way. If there are areas in their life where they need to align more fully with Your will, reveal them, Lord, and give them the courage to walk in obedience. We trust You to turn this situation around for Your glory and their good. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in faith, knowing that God sees your struggle and is working on your behalf. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). If you have not already, seek out a local body of believers—a Bible-believing church—where you can find support, prayer, and encouragement. You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
