New cars and removal from debt counseling

We hear your request for financial breakthrough, specifically, the desire for new vehicles and release from debt counseling. Let us first acknowledge that financial struggles can weigh heavily on the heart, and we stand with you in seeking God’s provision and wisdom in this area.
The Bible teaches us to be good stewards of what God has entrusted to us. Proverbs 22:7 warns, "The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender." While debt counseling may feel like a burden, it can also be a tool for discipline and restoration if used wisely. We must examine our hearts, are we seeking financial freedom to honor God, or are we chasing material comforts that may lead to further bondage?
Scripture also reminds us in 1 Timothy 6:8-10:
"But having food and clothing, we will be content with that. But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
If the desire for new cars is rooted in comparison, pride, or discontentment, we must repent and realign our hearts with God’s will. However, if this need is genuine, such as reliable transportation for work or family, we can bring it before the Lord in faith, trusting Him to provide in His perfect timing and way.
Let us also address the debt counseling program. If it is helping you manage finances responsibly, we encourage you to see it as a season of refinement rather than a permanent state. Proverbs 21:5 says, "The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty." Seek godly counsel, create a budget, and commit to living within your means.
Now, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who provides for all our needs according to Your riches in glory. Lord, we lift up this burden of financial struggle and the desire for provision. You know the hearts of Your children, and we ask that You search us and reveal any areas of greed, discontentment, or unwise stewardship. Forgive us, Father, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We declare that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust in Your promise to supply all our needs. Give wisdom in managing finances, discernment in making purchases, and patience to wait on Your timing. If debt counseling is a tool for discipline, help us embrace this season with humility, knowing that You are shaping us for greater blessings. If it is time for release, we ask for Your favor and guidance to walk in financial freedom.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty in the name of Jesus. We speak abundance, not in the form of reckless spending, but in the peace and provision that comes from walking in Your ways. Open doors for increase, promotions, and opportunities to honor You with our resources. May we be a testimony of Your faithfulness to those around us.
We also pray for contentment in all circumstances, knowing that true wealth is found in a relationship with You. Help us to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto us.
