Isaiah 49:15Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, grieving with those who grieve over the loss of precious unborn lives and the deep suffering of families torn apart by abandonment, betrayal, and spiritual warfare. The pain of losing a child, whether through miscarriage, abortion, or the cruelty of sorcery, is a wound only God can fully heal. We stand in the gap for these families, lifting them to the Father who sees every tear and collects them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8).

First, we rebuke the spirit of sorcery and every evil work seeking to destroy life and family. The Bible is clear: "There shall not be found among you anyone who... practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). We command these dark forces to flee in the name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We declare that no weapon formed against these families shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

For the unborn lives lost, we entrust them to the Lord’s care, knowing that He knits each child together in the womb (Psalm 139:13-16) and welcomes the innocent into His presence. We pray for the mothers and fathers who may have been deceived or coerced into abortion, that they would find repentance, forgiveness, and healing through Christ. The blood of Jesus cleanses from all sin (1 John 1:7), and we pray they would turn to Him for restoration. For those who have suffered miscarriage, we ask for God’s comfort and peace, trusting that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

We also lift up those who have been abandoned, wives, husbands, sons, daughters, brothers, and sisters, left without shelter, family, or refuge. The Lord is a father to the fatherless and a defender of the widow (Psalm 68:5). We pray He would provide for their every need, surround them with godly community, and restore what has been broken. For those feeling like they are in a "madhouse," we declare that God is their shelter and strong tower (Proverbs 18:10). He will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).

To those who have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, we urge you to turn to Him now. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). We pray you would make this decision today, for salvation is found in no one else.

Lord God, we cry out to You on behalf of these families. Heal their wounds, bind up their broken hearts, and restore what has been stolen. Comfort those who mourn, provide for the abandoned, and break every chain of darkness over their lives. We ask for Your mercy to cover the sin of abortion and for Your grace to lead those involved to repentance. Raise up godly men and women to stand in the gap for these families, showing them Your love in tangible ways. We declare that You are their refuge, their provider, and their hope. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We hear the deep sorrow threading through your words, the weight of so many lives lost, children unloved, and the ache for those left without shelter. You’ve named a grief that stretches across families and neighbors, and it’s clear this isn’t just a distant sadness; you’re carrying it close. We’re sitting with you in that heaviness, and we believe God tenderly holds each of those unborn little ones in His eternal care. That truth doesn’t erase the pain, but it anchors us when merciless things happen.

You’ve also painted a picture of vast abandonment, wives, husbands, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, friends, and your cry for mercy and a place of refuge. That longing for safety, for someone to see and not turn away, is something God understands completely. Often He meets that need through the kindness of other people. If you or someone you know is wrestling with the aftermath of an abortion decision, please know there are gentle, confidential places to turn. Many churches and pregnancy resource centers offer post-abortion support groups where women and men find healing without judgment. Simply telling the story to a Christian counselor or a compassionate pastor can begin to release the burden of guilt and grief.

You don’t have to carry this alone. Even when human families fail, the body of Christ is meant to be a shelter, a place where the abandoned find belonging. We’re praying that becomes real for you and everyone on your heart.

Lord Jesus, receive the innocent unborn into Your arms of perfect love. Pour out mercy on every soul in this ache, those who made the decision, those left behind, and those now mourning. Be a refuge for the abandoned, a consoler for the brokenhearted, and a healer of deep wounds. Surround this dear person with Your nearness and raise up a safe, caring community around them. In Your name, Amen.

The cry that rises from your spirit, though tangled in words of anguish, is not unknown to the ear of Him who hears the groaning of the prisoner and the sighing of the needy. You speak of little ones never seeing the light, of babes cast away, of families shattered, of the sorcery of sin and the disaster of abandonment, and you plead for mercy upon the unborn, the murdered, the forsaken. Such prayer, though wrapped in a garment of lament, is not cast out before God, for He is “the God of my mercy” who goes before me (Psalm 59:10). Even now, before you could frame the petition, His mercy has forestalled you. Did He not find Hagar in the wilderness, when she had fled from Sarah, and call her by name? She was but a servant, yet the Angel of the Lord met her by the spring in the desert and asked, “Hagar, where have you come from and where are you going?” It was a singular season for mercy, and He who opened her eyes to see the well of water is able to open yours to see the fountain of salvation.

You speak of unborn souls, and your heart rightly recoils at the thought of their blood crying from the ground. It is a grievous thing, a scarlet crime, when a mother forgets the baby at her breast, when parents have no compassion for the child they have borne. Yet, even should such a thing come to be, the Lord declares, “Though she may forget, I will not forget you!” (Isaiah 49:15). And what of the infants who perish in the womb? Are they beyond the reach of mercy? God alone knows His purposes. We dare not speak where Scripture is silent, but we may entrust them to the Judge of all the earth, who will do right. His tender mercy is over all His works, and the Son of God took little children in His arms and blessed them. The blood of Jesus speaks better things than that of Abel, and it can speak peace for those who never drew a conscious breath. That mercy is free, gratuitous, unearned, it seeks no payment from us, for God “will have mercy on whom He will have mercy.”

Yet you must not rest in a false hope, dreaming that mercy can embrace you while your soul remains at enmity with God. Many say, “God is merciful,” and continue in their sins, but a sound hope in mercy always feels its need of mercy. It is born of the Spirit, and it turns the face in the direction of holiness. Has mercy made you a new creation? Do you hate the sin that brought such desolation, both the sorcery you name and the hardness of heart that casts off wife, husband, daughter, son? The Gospel does not ask of you anything but what it gives: a heart to repent, faith to lay hold of Christ. And Christ is the true City of Refuge, set before you with the signposts crying, “Refuge! Refuge!” The manslayer, pursued by the avenger of blood, fled to the appointed city and was safe the moment he crossed its threshold. So the guilty sinner, fleeing to Jesus, finds in His wounds a shelter from the wrath to come. He is a refuge for the abandoned, the beggar, the one who has no home or friend, for He was Himself forsaken that we might be received.

Oh, that today you would hear the errand of mercy! Jesus came to seek and to save the lost, even those whom society thrusts out as lepers. The gates of mercy are not shut because the gates of men are closed against you. If you feel your need, if you despair of yourself, then cast yourself upon Him who invites the weary and heavy-laden. He is “slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.” The sword of justice is sheathed, held back by the hand that was pierced for sinners. Do not delay, for to slight mercy is to store up wrath. But if you will come, even now, with the shattered fragments of your life, you will find that His mercy can rebuild, restore, and one day wipe away every tear. “The tender mercy of our God” has visited us in the Person of His Son. On that Tree, mercy and truth met together; righteousness and peace kissed each other. There is forgiveness for the murderer, the sorcerer, the apostate, the unfaithful spouse, the parent who has destroyed their own offspring, but only through the blood that speaks pardon. Look to Him, and as you look, cry with the publican, “God be merciful to me, a sinner.” He is faithful and just to forgive. Your prayer for the departed little ones will be answered not by speculations, but by casting yourself and them upon the infinite goodness of the Judge who is also the Lamb slain. Flee to the refuge now, and you shall know that “the God of my mercy” has gone before you, spread a table in this wilderness, and given you a name and a place among His children.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When I hear such cries as yours, my soul is heavy with sorrow, yet not without hope. For though father and mother abandon, the Lord receives the forsaken, as you have rightly remembered. The innocent babes, snatched from the womb by violence or by mishap, are not forgotten before the face of God. Their simplicity, as I have often said, is a powerful plea; for of such is the kingdom of heaven. Let us then entrust them to the depth of His mercy, which is mightier than any human cruelty.

But you yourself must also become an imitator of that mercy. Do not merely weep over these tiny ones, but let your compassion bring forth fruit. Show mercy to the living, to the abandoned and the broken, that you yourself may obtain mercy. For there is nothing so characteristic of a Christian as a merciful soul, and the prayer that is joined with almsgiving and kindness becomes a blazing light that scatters the darkness. Yet if we cry out for mercy while withholding it from our neighbor, how shall we stand before the Judge? “Blessed are the merciful,” He said, “for they shall obtain mercy.”

Therefore, pour out your heart for the unborn, for the lost and the betrayed, and know that God’s care is broader than a mother’s. But also stretch out your hand to the living sufferers around you. The flame of hell is quenched by the oil of mercy; do not let your lamp go dry. Instead, let your own life become a refuge for the destitute, a shelter for the abandoned, even in small ways. Then, when you pray, “Have mercy upon me, O God, after Thy great goodness,” your plea will not be empty. For the merciful God is drawn to the merciful heart, and He will not forget the little ones, nor those who grieve for them.

The pain of this cry is not lost on God. You mention Psalm 27:10: “Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.” That promise stands rock-firm when human love fails, when a child is discarded, when the vulnerable are crushed. The unborn have no advocate except the One who knit them together in secret. Your prayer entrusts these little ones directly into the hands of Him who said, “Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you.” His mercy is the only refuge that never closes its doors.

Our hearts are rightly undone by such tragedy, but we must remember that God’s mercy is not a reluctant, measured thing. The Scriptures tell us His mercy endures forever. It is higher than the heavens, stretched out beyond the most distant stars. He is not like us, quick to demand payment; He is always seeking grounds to show compassion. That’s why Jesus came. At the cross, mercy and truth met together. Justice was satisfied so that full, free pity could flow to the most forsaken. The innocent, the aborted, the miscarried, these are carried by the Good Shepherd into a kingdom where no one will ever abandon them again.

So do not let the darkness of this tragedy convince you that God is distant. He is the Father of mercies, and He hears the groaning of those who have no voice. He has looked down from the height of His sanctuary and seen every tear, every broken bond. In Christ, there is a city of refuge for the helpless, not because they are guilty but because His heart defends the defenseless. Pour out your lament before Him, and then rest in this: the One who sits on the throne says, “I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy.” And He has made it plain that He delights to gather the little ones in His arms. Entrust these children to that everlasting mercy, and know that your own cries for them are rising like incense before His face.

We are deeply moved by the weight of your prayer request and the heartache it carries—grief over the loss of life, the pain of abandonment, and the spiritual battles faced by those entangled in darkness. It is our privilege to stand with you in intercession, lifting up this family and all who suffer under the heavy burdens of betrayal, loss, and despair.

We have prayed fervently for God’s mercy to surround those who mourn, especially for the little one whose life was taken before it could fully begin. We trust in His promise to gather the innocent into His care, where no sorrow or abandonment can touch them. For the parents and all who grieve, we ask the Lord to reveal His comfort, to break the chains of spiritual bondage, and to draw them near to His heart. We pray for those left without shelter, family, or refuge—that God would be their stronghold and provider, just as He promises in His Word.

If the Lord has moved in answer to these prayers, we would be so encouraged to hear how He has worked. If the burden still feels heavy and the answers unseen, we invite you to share this request again so we may continue to stand with you in faith. The Lord sees every tear and hears every cry, and His mercy endures forever.

May He bless you with His peace as you seek Him, and may His light pierce the darkness for all those in need. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
