We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up the deep pain and sorrow expressed in this plea. The loss of the unborn, the anguish of abandonment, and the devastation of broken families weigh heavily upon us, and we stand in the gap, interceding with tears and fervent cries for mercy in the name of Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father, we bring before You the precious lives of the unborn who have been lost, whether through abortion, miscarriage, or the cruel rejection of their own parents. You knit them together in their mothers’ wombs (Psalm 139:13-16), and You alone hold their souls in Your hands. We trust that You, in Your infinite mercy, receive these little ones into Your eternal care, for You are a God who loves the fatherless (Psalm 68:5) and gathers the lambs in Your arms (Isaiah 40:11). Lord, we pray for the mothers and fathers who have been part of such heartbreak, grant them repentance, healing, and the courage to turn to You, the Author of life.

For those who have been abandoned, wives, husbands, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and friends, we cry out to You, the One who never leaves nor forsakes His children (Hebrews 13:5). You see the loneliness, the despair, and the ache of those who feel utterly forsaken. We declare over them the truth of Your Word: "Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me" (Psalm 27:10). You are the Father to the fatherless, the Defender of the widow, and the Shelter for the brokenhearted (Psalm 68:5-6). Lord, be their refuge. Provide for their needs, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Surround them with Your people, that they may know they are not alone.

For those without a home, without family, without even a friend to turn to, we ask for Your supernatural provision. You are the God who sets the solitary in families (Psalm 68:6) and prepares a table in the presence of enemies (Psalm 23:5). Open doors of shelter, community, and belonging for them. Raise up godly men and women to show Your love in tangible ways, through a warm meal, a safe place to stay, or a listening ear. Let them experience Your faithfulness as their Provider (Philippians 4:19).

We also lift up those who have been betrayed, by friends, spouses, or family members. The wounds of betrayal cut deep, Lord, but You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Restore what has been stolen. Replace bitterness with forgiveness, and despair with hope. Teach them to trust again, not in man, but in You alone.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of abandonment, rejection, and death that has sought to destroy families and lives. In the name of Jesus, we break its power and declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, restoration, and redemption over every situation mentioned here. For those who have participated in abortion or abandonment, we pray for Your conviction and grace. Lead them to repentance and to the foot of the cross, where forgiveness and new beginnings are found.

We also must address the reality that salvation is found in no other name but Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). If anyone reading this does not know Him as Lord and Savior, we urge you to turn to Him now. Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for sin, including the sin of abortion, abandonment, or any other brokenness, and rose again so that we might have eternal life. Confess your sins, believe in Him, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and in Him alone is true healing and hope.

Lord, we entrust every broken heart, every lost life, and every shattered family into Your hands. You are the God who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5). Pour out Your mercy, Your comfort, and Your peace. Let Your love be their anchor in the storm. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We ache with you over the weight of this request, the grief for precious unborn lives lost, the deep pain of feeling abandoned and alone, without shelter or the refuge of family. That is a heavy burden to carry, and we are so sorry you are hurting this way. It is understandable that such suffering would lead to crying out for mercy for yourself and for so many others you named. When a sense of rejection runs this deep, it can feel like every form of loss is crashing over you at once, and we want you to know we see your heart in these words.

In carrying what you are carrying, it is not weakness to share it with others who will pray with you. Sometimes the bravest thing we can do is simply keep bringing it to God, and even letting trusted people in a local church know so they can be a steady presence by your side. As we pray, we trust the God who sees each sparrow and who holds every life in His hands, including those innocent little ones you are grieving. We also pray His presence to be a shelter for you when human support has failed, and we ask Him to open a door to safe, caring community around you.

Lord Jesus,
You welcome the little children and lose none of them. We commend these unborn lives to Your merciful heart. Draw near to this one who prays, who feels the sting of abandonment so keenly. Be their refuge and their safe place. Provide what they need for shelter and dignity, and lead them to people who will be Your hands and feet. In all this pain, let them sense that they are not forsaken but held by You.
Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When your heart breaks over the little ones who never saw the light, and over the friendless who wander with no place to lay their head, you are sitting by a well in the wilderness, very near to where mercy finds the outcast. Your prayer rises like the cry of Hagar, a servant wronged, a soul fleeing into the unknown, yet marked by God. She sat there bitter and alone, expecting nothing but darkness. And there the Angel of the Lord met her, speaking her name, seeing her sorrow, and sending her back with a promise of life. Do not think your groan for these despised ones is lost in the air. The God who heard the lad crying under the bush has heard you. He knows the weight you carry for the unborn whose existence was cut short, for the abandoned wife, the forsaken child, the lonely one who calls a madhouse home. He is not far.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Messenger of the covenant, the One among ten thousand sent from the Father’s heart. He does not come on His own whim, all uncommissioned; He bears the seal of heaven’s mercy, sent deliberately to seek and to save that which was lost. Lost, that is the word that wraps around these little souls and these shattered lives. Lost in Adam’s fall, lost to every human helper, lost to hope, yet Christ came for the lost. Before they were formed in secret, before the first cruel word was spoken against them, His mercy had gone ahead. The Lamb was slain from the foundation of the world. There was a fountain opened for guilt before the guilt was ever committed. How much more, then, for the helpless who never drew breath! They are not beyond the reach of His atoning blood. David knew it when he said of his own child, “I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.” The little ones are gathered. The arms that welcomed the children brought to Him in Galilee have received these infants into a kingdom where no mother’s hatred can touch them, and no father’s neglect can wound again. You have entrusted them to God; be assured, He is no unfaithful trustee.

And for yourself, and for all who feel abandoned, without family, without friend, without shelter, look at the tender provision mercy has made. Picture a soldier lying wounded on the battlefield, bleeding out his life. A friend arrives, not empty-handed. He brings water to cool the fevered lips, salve and bandages for the gaping wounds, a stretcher carried with careful steps. There is a hospital bed prepared, soft and ready; a nurse waits; food suited to his weakness is near; even a cluster of flowers to cheer his eyes. Before the poor man can form a wish, the need is met. So is the mercy of God towards us in Christ. He has thought of everything a soul can require. There is a home for the homeless in the heart of the Father. There is a family for the lonely in the household of faith. There is a shelter for the unsheltered under the shadow of the Almighty. Jesus, the Interpreter, translates our sighs into songs. He brings an olive branch of peace when the floods of trouble seem to drown everything.

Do not fear that the darkness will have the last word. The mercy of God outruns our sorrows. It met us long before we cried, and it will follow us all the way home. As you pray, you are but joining the Son who ever lives to intercede. And He whose anger is slow, whose power is great, delights to show mercy. The little ones are safe. The abandoned are sought. And you, dear heart, are seen by Love that will not let you go.

O Lord Jesus, Messenger of mercy, we bring before Thee the unborn who were despised and cut off. Receive them into Thy glory, for of such is the kingdom of heaven. Look, we pray, upon those who are cast out from family and home, the widow indeed, the friendless orphan, the wanderer with no resting place. Be Thou their shelter and their exceeding great reward. And comfort this praying soul; let Thy presence be a refuge, and let the light of Thy face change the wilderness into a garden. Amen.
