Abortive family ancients exterminate their generation.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, grieving the profound loss of life, both born and unborn, and the deep suffering of abandonment, betrayal, and isolation that so many endure. The pain of losing children, whether through miscarriage, abortion, or the cruelty of this world, is a burden no one should carry alone. We stand in the gap for those who feel forsaken, lifting up their sorrow to the One who promises never to leave nor forsake His children (Deuteronomy 31:6). The extermination of generations and the breaking of families is a grievous wound, but we declare that God is the Father to the fatherless and the Defender of the widow (Psalm 68:5). He sees every tear and collects them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8).

We rebuke the spirit of abandonment and despair that seeks to convince the brokenhearted that they are alone. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We speak life over those who have lost spouses, children, parents, or siblings, declaring that God is their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). For those who feel they have no home, no family, and no shelter, we pray that the Lord would be their dwelling place, their strong tower, and their ever-present help (Psalm 91:1-2). We cry out for mercy on behalf of the unborn who were despised and taken from this world, trusting that God, in His infinite love, receives them into His arms (2 Samuel 12:23).

We must also address the sin of abortion with clarity and compassion, for the Bible is clear that life begins in the womb (Jeremiah 1:5) and that shedding innocent blood is an abomination (Proverbs 6:17). The extermination of generations through the murder of the unborn is a grave offense against God’s design, and we mourn this reality. Yet even in this, we hold fast to the truth that God’s mercy is greater than our sin (1 John 1:9). We pray for repentance and healing for those who have participated in or been affected by abortion, that they may find forgiveness and restoration in Christ.

To those who feel they have no one, we say: You are not alone. The Lord will never abandon you. Psalm 27:10 declares, "Though my father and my mother have forsaken me, yet Yahweh will take me up." And Isaiah 49:15 asks, "Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you!" God’s love is unshakable, and His promises are sure. We pray that you would know His presence in your deepest pain, that you would feel His arms holding you when the world has turned away.

We also lift up those who are struggling with the weight of their own sins or the sins committed against them. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), and His blood covers all transgressions. If you have never surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and salvation is found in no other name (Acts 4:12). Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died and rose again, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts broken for the lost, the grieving, and the abandoned. We ask for Your mercy to cover the innocent lives taken too soon, both born and unborn. Comfort those who mourn the loss of family, spouses, or children, and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We rebuke the spirit of abandonment and declare that You are their Father, their Provider, and their Shelter. For those who have no home or refuge, we ask that You would open doors of provision and surround them with Your love. Heal the wounds of betrayal and restore what has been broken. We pray for repentance and forgiveness for those involved in the sin of abortion, that they may turn to You and find peace.

Lord, we entrust the souls of the unborn into Your care, knowing that You receive them with love. We ask that You would break the chains of generational sin and restore families according to Your will. Strengthen those who feel weak, and give them hope in You. May they know that You are their ever-present help in times of trouble. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who alone can bring true healing and restoration. Amen.

We read your words and see how heavy your heart is right now, so many losses, so many shattered families, and a deep ache for unborn children whose lives were cut short. The weight of abandonment and grief you’ve named is real, and it’s good that you’re bringing these precious ones to the one place true mercy is found. God does not turn away from the sorrow of those who cry out for the defenseless.

When we carry that much sorrow, it can feel isolating, like we’re begging for hope that seems out of reach. But your care for these forgotten little ones and the abandoned reflects the very compassion of Christ. Grief is not a sign of weak faith; it’s a holy ache that honors those we mourn. You’re right to entrust those babies, miscarried, aborted, unloved, to God alone. We believe He gathers them in arms of mercy, and nothing about their short lives is hidden from Him.

We also want you to know you don’t have to carry this heavy burden of intercession all alone. If you have a trusted friend or a pastor you can talk with, sharing what’s on your heart might lighten the load. Sometimes giving voice to our grief in the presence of another person brings a measure of the peace we’re praying for others to receive.

Let’s pray together silently now:

Lord Jesus, You see every unborn life, every abandoned child, and every soul crushed by betrayal and loss. We join our hearts with this hurting one and ask for Your mercy to cover each person named, the neighbor’s little ones, the generations that feel extinct, and all who have no shelter or refuge. Be their safe place. Wrap Your arms around those who are crying out, and grant this prayer partner a deep sense of Your nearness even in the ache. In Your name we pray, Amen.

The anguish of your heart rises like a bitter cry from the desert well, and the Lord has heard it. That sense of utter abandonment, that even father and mother have forsaken, that ancient generations seem cut off and exterminated, is the very wilderness into which the Angel of mercy comes with a home question. He asks not that you have any righteousness of your own, but that you know your need of Him. The unborn little ones, despised and murdered, are in the hands of Him who said, “Suffer the little children to come unto me.” There is a tender mercy in His great provisions: the blood of Jesus speaks a better thing than the blood of Abel, and it secures for all who are His an entrance into the heavenly city. Those infants, unable to will or to do, are swept into the arms of the Good Shepherd, not by virtue of their innocence, for none is innocent, but by the sovereign, overflowing grace of a God who delights in mercy.

You pray for the abandoned wife, the forsaken husband, the lonely child, the brother betrayed. Here is the city of refuge for every manslayer who has brought ruin upon his own house through sin. The true High Priest, Jesus Christ, has died, and all who flee to Him are safe forever. Yet see to it that your own hope is not false: a sound hope in mercy must be born of a shattered confidence in everything else. If you would have mercy, you must know it is mercy you need, undeserved, free, given to the very chief of sinners. The Lord often begins with stern discipline, bringing us low by affliction, that He may then send the Interpreter, the One among a thousand, to show us His uprightness. That Interpreter is Christ, who seeks and saves that which was lost, even those who feel too hard to weep.

Cast yourself, then, upon this God whose mercy goes before. Before you framed a prayer, He was forestalling you with grace. The same Lord who receives the dying infant receives the broken-hearted beggar who has no house, no family, no friend. He will not cast you out. Repent of every false confidence and flee to Him who is the hope of Israel, the horn of salvation for all generations. Trust no more to religious duties or to vague hopes of a general mercy; but cling to the Person and work of the crucified Redeemer. There is forgiveness with Him that He may be feared. He shall gather the outcasts, build the desolate families, and in His own time make even dry bones live. Go to Him just as you are, with your grief over these murdered little ones and your own homeless soul, and cry, “Refuge! Refuge!” He will hear and answer in Jesus’ name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Mercy is the very character of God, and in your anguish you have turned to the right place. The Psalmist cries, "Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me," and the Prophet declares that even if a mother could forget her nursing child, God will never forget us. His compassion is not like human affections that fail; it endures when all other refuge crumbles. Nothing so pleases Him as a heart that trusts His mercy and then becomes a vessel of mercy to others.

Therefore, do not only mourn, but act. If you wish to obtain mercy for the suffering and the unborn, begin by showing mercy yourself to the abandoned in your midst. Alms and deeds of kindness deliver from death and bring light into the deepest darkness. The merciful shall obtain mercy. Do not let your prayer remain a word alone; clothe your plea with works. When you comfort the lonely, shelter the destitute, or speak tenderly to those who grieve, you are quenching the fire of affliction and laying up a store of compassion for yourself before God.

Entrust those innocent ones, seen and unseen, to the Lord who made them. He is not the author of their suffering, but He receives them into His care, for He is rich in mercy. Let your heart be enlarged by their pain, and let your hands become instruments of the same mercy you ask from heaven. In this way, your own cry, "Have mercy upon me," will rise with power, and the God of all comfort will draw near.

The weight of what you have written is almost too much to carry alone. You are looking at the wreckage of families across generations, the silent graves of unborn children, and the crushing loneliness of abandonment. Beneath every word is a cry for mercy, and that is the one cry God never despises. When you bring Psalm 27:10 before the Lord, you are holding onto a promise forged in the darkest valley: "Though my father and my mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me." That word "receive" means to gather up, to take in, to welcome home. It applies to the child left alone and to the little life whose first and last sight was the inside of a womb. He is the Father who receives the outcast.

And then Isaiah 49:15 presses the question even deeper. Can a mother forget her nursing child, the baby she carried and fed from her own body? Even if that bond, the strongest on earth, could be severed, God declares, "I will not forget you." You mentioned the innocent ones who were despised, the miscarried, the aborted. Their lives were not hidden from Him. They are not forgotten. When a life begins, it is known in heaven. When that life ends before it can draw breath outside the womb, its Creator is not indifferent. We entrust them entirely to His care, confident that the Judge of all the earth will do right, and that His mercy is over all His works.

You see the generations being exterminated, and you feel the terror of a family line cut off. But the mercy of God is not inherited in the bloodline; it is given by sovereign grace. He says, "I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion." That used to sound harsh until I realized it means mercy is never a wage we are owed. It is a gift. If mercy were a birthright, your neighbor’s tragedy would mean there was none left. But because mercy flows from God’s own will, it can reach anyone, anywhere, no matter their family history or the sins of their ancestors. A son is not put to death for his father’s sin, nor a father for his son’s. Every soul stands before God, and every soul can cry out for the mercy that endures forever.

What you are describing, the "abortive spirit" and the cycle of abandonment, is the bitter fruit of sin in a fallen world. Death entered through sin, and death has been spreading ever since, bringing sorrow and grief and the tearing apart of what should be held sacred. But do not let the magnitude of the darkness convince you that mercy is gone. God looks for reasons to show mercy. When you intercede like this, when you bring these messy, agonizing realities before His throne and beg for Him to step in, you are doing the very thing He delights to answer. His paths are mercy and truth for those who keep His covenant, and His covenant is now sealed in the blood of His own Son.

Mercy and truth met together in Jesus Christ. He looked at what sin had done: the abandoned wife, the betrayed brother, the murdered unborn, the wandering beggar with no shelter. And He did not stay removed. He took on the form of a servant and became obedient to death, even the death of the cross. He tasted death for every person you listed. The wages of sin is death, and He paid those wages in full. He let death swallow Him so He could destroy the one who holds the power of death. For the child of God, death has lost its sting. The grave’s victory is broken. So we grieve, but not as those who have no hope. We grieve the loss, the brokenness, the generations that seem cut off. But we fix our eyes on the Man of Sorrows who is acquainted with grief, and we see that He is Lord over life and death.

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so. Say it now over this situation: His mercy endures forever. When you pray for that neighbor, for those lost children, for the abandoned of every age, you are not praying to a reluctant Judge. You are coming to the one who said, "Turn to me and have mercy upon you." So ask Him to receive these precious unborn lives, to be a refuge for the fatherless and the forsaken, and to break the cycles of destruction by the power of His resurrection. Call upon Him, and though the fault may be real and the blame heavy, His mercy endures forever. He will deliver. He will heal. He will take what the enemy meant for extermination and, in His time, say to those who were not His people, "You are my people." And they will answer, "You are my God."

Goodness and mercy will follow you all your days, even through this valley, until you dwell in the house of the Lord forever. The loss is real, but the victory is already won. In the name of Jesus Christ, mercy is found.
