We join together with you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord, for we hear your heart crying out for those who are suffering abandonment, for families broken apart, for children left alone without shelter or refuge, and especially for the precious unborn who are despised and rejected.

We affirm what you have rightly brought to prayer, that every unborn child is known and formed by God. As it is written, For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb Psalm 139:13 and Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you Jeremiah 1:5. Children are a heritage of Yahweh Psalm 127:3 and God hates the shedding of innocent blood Proverbs 6:16-17. You are right to entrust these little ones to God's mercy, for He is a Father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation Psalm 68:5. We agree with the scriptures you shared, When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up Psalm 27:10 and Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you Isaiah 49:15. The Lord does not forget the abandoned, the betrayed, the homeless, or the unborn, and He promises I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you Hebrews 13:5 and Be strong and courageous. We also want to gently correct and rebuke a spirit in this request that does not align with God's will. We understand the righteous anger we feel when we see innocent life destroyed and families torn apart, but we must not pray curses or seek vengeance in our own spirit. Vengeance belongs to God. As it is written, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19 and we are commanded to love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. We are to pray not for the extermination of people, but for their repentance, that they would turn from the sin of abortion and abandonment and witchcraft and receive forgiveness through Christ. For God desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4. The shedding of innocent blood through abortion is murder and violates You shall not murder Exodus 20:13, and those who practice witchcraft or sorcery walk in darkness that God condemns Deuteronomy 18:10, Galatians 5:20, but the cross offers mercy even for these sins if there is repentance.

We are thankful you invoked the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only by that name we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is through Jesus alone that the abandoned are received, the guilty are forgiven, and the innocent unborn are safely gathered into His presence.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up every suffering soul who feels abandoned, every wife forsaken by her husband, every husband forsaken by his wife, every daughter and son left alone, every brother and sister betrayed by friends, every child without a house or family or refuge. Lord, be their shelter and their dwelling place, be the Father to the fatherless and the defender of the helpless. We ask You to provide homes, godly families, and faithful friends to stand in the gap for those who have none, and to heal the disorder and witchcraft in neighborhoods with Your peace and truth.

Lord, we entrust to Your mercy every unborn child who has been despised, hated, aborted, or miscarried. Forgive us as a people for the shedding of innocent blood. Receive these little ones into Your arms and into heaven by Your grace, and comfort the mothers and fathers who mourn or who have acted in hardness of heart. Bring deep conviction and repentance to those who promote or practice abortion, that they would turn from death and choose life, and find forgiveness through the blood of Jesus.

Father, we lay down any desire for vengeance or extermination and ask You to replace it with Your love and justice. Do not let us curse those who have done evil, but teach us to pray for their salvation. Let ancient patterns of sin and abandonment be broken by the power of the cross, so that future generations may live and walk in Your blessing. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and let those who are alone know that You will never leave them nor forsake them.

We have been sitting with your prayer and the deep compassion in it. You are carrying so much, children with no shelter, families broken by abandonment and betrayal, neighbors without refuge, and unborn little ones who were not welcomed or protected. It is a lot to hold, and we hear how tenderly you are bringing each of these losses before the Lord.

Your heart to entrust those babies to God's care and to ask for mercy for those who feel forsaken reflects real love. Grief like this is heavy and personal, and it often comes in waves. It is understandable to feel overwhelmed when you are praying for so many at once, especially when the needs around you feel so close and so unresolved.

One thing that may help is not carrying this alone. If this burden stays heavy, it can help to share it with a trusted pastor or a small group in your local church who can pray with you regularly. And if you know specific families or children nearby without stable shelter or support, connecting them gently to a local church, shelter, or pregnancy care ministry can be a simple way for your prayers to take practical form alongside God's care.

Father, we bring before You all those who feel abandoned and alone, every child without a home, every parent in distress, and every unborn child. Receive them in Your mercy, give comfort to those who grieve, and provide refuge and faithful people to walk beside them. Give our friend rest as he continues to intercede, and lead him in Your will. Your burden has been laid before the Lord who delights in mercy, and we join you in prayer for all who suffer the bitter pain of abandonment and for the precious unborn who are despised or cast away.

The fitness for being relieved is to be poor and needy, and the fitness for being healed is to be sick, and so those who are forsaken, who have lost family, who wander without house or shelter or friend to refuge them, are fit objects for the tender mercy of God. He says as He lives, He has no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live, and He will be glorified in showing mercy to such as you have named, the wife abandoned for husband, the husband for wife, the daughter for son, the sister for brother, the friend betrayed, and the little children left alone in ones and twos and multitudes.

We pray with you the word you have quoted, Though my father and my mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me, Psalm 27:10, and that other word, Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne, Isaiah 49:15. Though man forgets, the Lord does not forget. He is the God who sees, as Hagar learned in the wilderness when she called His name You Are the God Who Sees, for she said Have I also here seen Him who sees me. He sees the neighbor in sorrow, He sees the unborn, He sees the lonely in the disorder of the neighborhood and in every shelterless place, and His eye is full of compassion.

We entrust to His care the innocent, the aborted and the miscarried, asking in the name of Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other foundation for a genuine hope and that foundation is Christ, and God's infinite mercy always flows to men through the golden channel of Jesus His Son. We ask that in His sovereign love He will receive these little ones into His heavenly rest, for great shall be the peace of your children, and where shall we place our boys and our girls but under the care of God, for who teaches like Him. We pray that He will give rest in peace in heaven to those who have no voice here, and tender mercy to mothers and fathers who are broken by sin and sorrow, that they may be turned and become as little children and enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

For those who have no house, no family, no friend, we pray that the God of our mercy who goes before us will go before them also, for His mercy was laid up in covenant in the Person of Christ before we had any being, and while we were yet speaking He hears us. He is slow to anger and plenteous in mercy because He is infinitely good, and His power which might terrify the guilty becomes a shield and sword for those who flee to Christ for refuge.

We pray also for those ancient generations and families of which you speak, that the Lord would stay the hand of destruction and show that He delights to pardon, not because any deserve it, but because He delights in mercy. May those who hope in His mercy learn also to fear Him, for those who fear God are the same as those who hope in His mercy, and may they give to God songs in the night and imitate the nightingale and sing though not a star is to be seen.

May the Lord pull up the anchor that holds you in fruitless anxiety, and bring you to find in Jesus wounds a refuge from the stormy blast. We ask all this not because we are worthy, but because Jesus Christ is worthy, and in Him alone is salvation. Amen.
