We join you in bringing these heavy burdens before the Lord, for the suffering of the abandoned, the lonely, the children without refuge, and especially for the unborn who are despised and rejected. Your heart to intercede for those who have no shelter and no family to support them reflects the compassion of our Father, and we stand with you in seeking His mercy.
We are reminded that every life, even in the womb, is known and formed by God. For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb Psalm 139:13 and Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you Jeremiah 1:5. The taking of innocent life through abortion grieves the heart of God, for God has commanded You shall not murder Exodus 20:13 and He sees each child. Yet we also hear in your request a prayer for extermination and that ancient generations would die and not see the next generation because of sabotage and false prophecy. We must gently correct and rebuke this, for we are not called to pray for the death or extermination of any people, even those who have done great evil through abortion or deception. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, not to us. Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19 and our calling is to pray for repentance and mercy, even for our enemies. But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. The Lord does not desire the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live Ezekiel 33:11. So we pray not for generations to be cut off in judgment by our own curse, but that God would bring conviction, repentance, and salvation through Jesus Christ, and that false prophets would be exposed and silenced by truth. Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves Matthew 7:15.
We also lift up all who know the pain of abandonment, those forsaken by mother or father, wife or husband, son or daughter, brother or sister, or betrayed by a friend, and those who wander without house or refuge. The Scriptures you shared give such comfort, When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up Psalm 27:10 and Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you Isaiah 49:15. We cling to this promise that though people may abandon, God never does. He is A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation Psalm 68:5 and He promises Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is he who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you Deuteronomy 31:6. For the innocent children lost to abortion or miscarriage, we entrust them to the mercy and care of God, trusting that He who is just and full of compassion receives them, and we pray for healing for mothers and fathers who carry guilt and grief, for there is forgiveness and cleansing when we confess. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9.
We are thankful that you prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by His blood that mercy is possible for all who have sinned, including those involved in abortion and abandonment.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace. We ask for Your mercy upon every unborn child who is unwanted or hated, protect them and convict the hearts of mothers and fathers to choose life, and where life has been taken, we ask that You receive those little ones into Your care and bring comfort and repentance to those who are broken. Lord, we lift up every person suffering abandonment and loneliness, every child without shelter, every wife or husband forsaken, every family scattered, be their refuge and shelter, provide homes and godly community to support them, and let them know they are not forgotten by You. Forgive us where we have harbored hatred or desired vengeance, teach us to pray for mercy and for the salvation of those who do evil and speak falsely, that they may turn and live. Expose every false prophetic word and sabotage, and establish Your truth. Heal our neighborhoods from disorder and bewitching influences, and let Your peace reign. We trust You as our Father who never forsakes us, and we ask all this in the saving name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our redeemer. Amen.
