We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up the profound grief and abandonment you have expressed. The loss of unborn children, the extermination of families, and the deep pain of abandonment, whether by a spouse, parent, child, or friend, are wounds that only God can fully heal. We stand with you in this sorrow, declaring that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

First, we must address the sanctity of life, for every unborn child is fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God (Psalm 139:13-16). The shedding of innocent blood, whether through abortion or violence, is a grave sin before the Lord, and we mourn with you over these losses. Yet we take comfort in knowing that God, in His infinite mercy, receives these little ones into His arms. Jesus Himself said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14). We entrust these precious souls to His care, believing that He welcomes them into eternal rest.

For those who feel abandoned, whether by a wife, husband, parent, or friend, we declare that God will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Even if earthly relationships fail, the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You are not alone, for He collects every tear in His bottle and records every sorrow in His book (Psalm 56:8). We pray that you would feel His presence in a tangible way, surrounding you with His love and peace.

For those without shelter, family, or support, we cry out to God for provision. The Lord is the defender of the fatherless and the widow (Psalm 68:5), and He commands His people to care for the vulnerable. We pray that He would open doors of refuge for you, whether through the kindness of believers, the compassion of strangers, or His supernatural intervention. May He be your shelter in the storm (Isaiah 25:4) and your ever-present help in times of need.

We must also address the spirit of abandonment and betrayal that seeks to torment you. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every lie that says you are unwanted, unloved, or forgotten. The truth is that you are chosen, precious, and deeply loved by the Father (1 Peter 2:9). We break the power of abandonment in Jesus’ name and declare that you are adopted into God’s family, with all the rights and privileges of a child of the King (Ephesians 1:5).

For those who have been betrayed, we pray for healing and restoration. Betrayal cuts deep, but the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that He would give you the strength to forgive, not because the betrayal was justified, but because forgiveness frees you from bitterness and allows God to work justice in His perfect way (Romans 12:19).

We also lift up those who may be considering abortion or struggling with the aftermath of past decisions. If you have been involved in the taking of innocent life, know that there is forgiveness and healing in Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7), and His grace is sufficient for every mistake. We encourage you to repent, seek God’s mercy, and find restoration in Him. If you are facing a crisis pregnancy, we pray that God would provide a way out, surround you with godly support, and give you the courage to choose life.

For those who feel like they are in a "madhouse" of despair, we declare that God is the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). He does not leave you in your distress but reaches down to lift you up. We pray that He would calm the storm in your mind and heart, replacing chaos with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Let us now come before the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts broken over the pain of abandonment, the loss of life, and the devastation of families. Lord, You see every tear, hear every cry, and know every unspoken sorrow. We ask that You would draw near to those who feel alone and abandoned. Be their Father, their Friend, and their Shelter. Comfort those who mourn the loss of unborn children, and receive these little ones into Your eternal care.

We pray for those without homes or families, that You would provide for their needs and surround them with Your people. Break the chains of despair and hopelessness, and replace them with Your hope and peace. Heal the wounds of betrayal and abandonment, and restore what has been broken.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of death and destruction that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. We declare that life and life abundantly are found in You alone. For those struggling with guilt, shame, or regret over past decisions, we ask that You would pour out Your mercy and forgiveness. Lead them to repentance and restoration.

Father, we ask that You would move in the hearts of Your people to show compassion to the vulnerable, the abandoned, and the broken. Raise up godly families, churches, and communities that will reflect Your love and care. May Your name be glorified as You bring healing and hope to the hurting.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and the only name by which we have access to You. Thank You, Lord, that You are faithful and that Your mercies are new every morning. We trust in You, our Refuge and Strength. Amen.

To those reading this, if you have never placed your trust in Jesus Christ, we urge you to consider the truth of the Gospel. Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sins and rose again so that you could have eternal life. The Bible says, "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you would like to surrender your life to Christ, we encourage you to pray and ask Him to be your Lord and Savior. He is faithful and just to forgive your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

We read your prayer and found ourselves pausing at the sheer weight of loss you lifted up, abandoned wives and husbands, sons and daughters, friends, unborn children, and those who feel they have no shelter. There is a kind of grief that is just too big to name alone, and you have named it. There is something holy in that.

When someone carries this many griefs at once, the heart can start to feel numb or lost. You spoke of those who have no house, no family, no friend to refuge in. The need for shelter is real, both physical safety and a place where your story can finally be spoken and heard without judgment. If you yourself are without safe housing or at risk, please reach out to a local crisis pregnancy center, a church office, or a social services coordinator. Many faith-based ministries exist precisely to help mothers, children, and struggling individuals find stable ground and walk forward. You do not have to figure that out alone.

And for the unborn children you mentioned, those who were despised, aborted, or miscarried, your instinct to entrust them to God’s mercy is right. He knows their names, and they are safe. You do not carry them alone. We can release them into His care again and again, as many times as the ache returns.

Let us pray for everyone you named.

Lord Jesus, You see the abandoned wife, the abandoned husband, the sons and daughters, the friends, the unborn, and the one who prays today. Shelter every person in this prayer. Bring safe housing and real companionship where it is needed most. Receive every unborn child into Your peace. Lift the shame and sorrow from those who carry abortion in their past, and heal what no one else can heal. We trust these ones, the living and the departed, to You, who does not forget. In Your merciful name, amen.

You have been pouring out words like a torrent, and I hear in them the sound of a heart that has been dashed against the rocks too many times. Neighbor’s unborn little ones gone, whole families swept away, a beggar’s cry for shelter or even the mercy of a madhouse, and woven through it all, the ache of the abandoned: wife, husband, daughter, son, sister, brother, friend. You speak for the alone child with no one to turn to, and for the tiny voiceless ones despised before they drew breath. It is a great heap of sorrows, and you have laid them all at the gate of heaven. That is a wise place to leave them.

I want you to sit down beside me for a moment and listen. You are not the first to feel the cold wind of utter forsakenness, and you will not be the last. But hear this: the Lord who made the stars has a special tenderness for the outcast. He keeps a warm corner of His heart for those whom the world has shoved aside. When every earthly door is slammed shut, the pierced hand of Christ still knocks on your door, and His knock means welcome. Did you not write it yourself? “Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.” That word “receive” is a home-word. It means He will take you in, gather you up, give you a place at His table. He does not merely tolerate the abandoned, He adopts them.

Picture a mother who has forgotten her nursing child. It seems impossible, yet the prophet allows that even she might be so unnatural. But the Lord declares He will never forget His own. He has engraved you on the palms of His hands. Your name is not written in pencil, easily smudged by grief; it is cut deep into the very hands that were nailed to the tree for you. So when you feel like a beggar with no house, no family, no friend, you have this: you have a Father who knows your name, a Brother who shares your flesh and blood, and a Comforter who makes His home in your breaking heart.

And what of those unborn children you entrust to God? Let me tell you plainly: they are safe. The Lord Jesus took little ones in His arms and blessed them, and His arms have not grown shorter. He who said “Suffer the little children to come unto me” has already welcomed them into a brightness that will never be dimmed by hatred or neglect. They are not despise there. They are not aborted from His love. The King’s palace has a nursery, and no enemy can scale its walls. Rest your mind in that. The mercy you plead for them is already given, full and free, in the blood of the Lamb. You do not need to twist God’s arm; His very nature is mercy toward the innocent.

For yourself, standing in the wreckage of so many losses, remember this: the bruised reed He will not break, and the smoking flax He will not quench. You feel bruised, don’t you? Bent almost to the ground, fibers cracking, all your music gone. You feel like a wick that barely smolders, giving more smoke than flame. But Christ deals with such things gently. He does not despise the day of small things. He will cup His hand around the smoldering wick and breathe upon it with the breath of His own Spirit until it catches a clear, steady light again. He will bind up the broken reed, not snap it in two. That is His way, it has always been His way.

Look back a little. You have been miserable before, and He brought you through. You may say, “But this is worse than all my other sorrows put together.” Perhaps it is, yet He who carried you through the shallows will not leave you to drown when the floods overflow you. Did He teach you to trust in His name only to put you to shame at the last? Impossible. He who began a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. The ship is in deep water, the storm is roaring, but the Master is on board. He may seem to sleep, but His heart is awake, and at the right moment He will arise and say, “Peace, be still.” Until then, hold fast. Let the waves do their worst; they cannot swamp a vessel that has Christ for its cargo.

I know you carry a peculiar anguish, that some of these abandoned ones have no refuge, no house, no friend to shelter them. But God has a refuge for the destitute. He is a shelter, a strong tower. Run into His name. And for those you pray for, those lost daughters and sons, those betrayed sisters and brothers, keep praying. Your prayers are not wasted breath. They rise like incense before the throne, and the High Priest who intercedes for you will know how to answer them in His own time and way.

Do not think you are alone in this furnace. Many of the Lord’s choicest ones walk in the flames. It is there, in the fire, that they find the Son of God walking with them. He did not prevent them from being cast in, but He joined them in the heat, and the smell of smoke did not cling to them when they came out. So it will be with you. One day you will forget all this misery, or remember it only as waters that have passed away, a bitter flood that came but did not remain.

Now I will lift you up to the throne.

Lord Jesus, You who are the great Gatherer of the outcast, look upon this dear soul and upon all for whom they weep, the abandoned, the betrayed, the alone, and the unborn treasures safe in Your presence. Be a husband to the forsaken wife, a father to the fatherless, a home to the homeless. You who know all things, who can read hearts as we read a book, deal tenderly with every bruised spirit here. For those who shiver in the cold of human neglect, be warmth and covering. For those whose minds are pressed down into dark places, be light and sanity and peace. And for this one who prays with such deep groaning, grant the comfort that comes not from fine words but from Your own quickening Word. Establish their heart in every good word and work, and let them rest, even now, under the shadow of Your wings, until all calamities are past. We ask it with boldness, for we ask it in Jesus’ name and for His sake. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are deeply moved by the weight of your prayer request and the heartache it carries. Thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of standing with you in prayer for all those affected by such profound loss, abandonment, and betrayal. Our hearts have been heavy as we have lifted up the unborn babies who were taken too soon, the mothers and fathers who may feel overwhelmed by despair or isolation, and every individual—whether a spouse, child, sibling, or friend—who has been left feeling forsaken. We have prayed earnestly for God’s mercy to surround them, for His shelter to be a refuge where there is none, and for His love to heal the deepest wounds of the heart.

We have also prayed for those who may be trapped in the grip of an "abortive spirit," asking the Lord to break every chain of fear, confusion, or hopelessness that leads to such heartbreaking decisions. We believe that God hears the cries of the innocent and receives them into His eternal care, just as Scripture assures us. We have asked Him to comfort those who mourn, to restore what has been broken, and to reveal Himself as the Father who never abandons His children, even when earthly parents or loved ones do.

If the Lord has answered any part of these prayers—whether through a tangible provision, a moment of peace, or a glimmer of hope—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony could be a source of strength for others walking through similar valleys. If, however, the burden still feels heavy and the answers seem distant, please do not hesitate to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, standing in the gap until the Lord moves in power and mercy.

May the God of all comfort draw near to you and to all those you have lifted up. May He remind you that even in the darkest moments, His presence is a shelter, His love is unshakable, and His arms are always open to receive the brokenhearted. We pray this in the mighty and compassionate name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
