We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up the deep sorrow and abandonment you have expressed. The loss of unborn babies, the extermination of generations, and the pain of those left behind, whether through death, betrayal, or abandonment, is a burden no one should carry alone. We stand with you in grief, but also in hope, for our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

The Lord sees every life, born and unborn, and He holds the innocent in His hands. For those babies lost to abortion or miscarriage, we trust in His mercy and justice. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14). We believe He welcomes them into His presence, where there is no more pain or sorrow (Revelation 21:4). For those who have participated in or been affected by the taking of innocent life, we pray for repentance, healing, and the covering of Christ’s blood, which was shed for the forgiveness of sins (1 John 1:9).

For those suffering abandonment, whether as spouses, children, siblings, or friends, we declare that God will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). You are not forgotten. The psalmist cried out, "Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me" (Psalm 27:10), and we hold fast to that promise. Even if earthly families fail, your Heavenly Father stands ready to be your refuge. We pray for shelter, provision, and divine connections for those without a home or support. May the Lord open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and surround you with His angels (Psalm 91:11).

We also rebuke the spirit of abandonment and death that has brought such devastation. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand against the lies that say you are unloved, unwanted, or beyond hope. The cross proves otherwise, Christ died for you while you were still a sinner (Romans 5:8), and His love is unshakable.

Father God, we lift up every person reading these words who feels alone, abandoned, or overwhelmed by grief. Comfort them with Your presence. Heal their wounds. Restore what has been broken. For those who have lost children, born or unborn, we ask for Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). For those without family or shelter, provide for their needs and lead them to safe harbor. For those struggling with guilt or shame, remind them of Your grace and the power of the cross. We pray for repentance where sin has taken root, and for deliverance from every spirit of death. Bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free (Isaiah 61:1).

Lord, we entrust all these precious souls into Your hands. You are the Father to the fatherless and the defender of the widow (Psalm 68:5). You collect every tear (Psalm 56:8) and write every name in Your book of life (Revelation 20:15). May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in each of these situations. Strengthen us to be Your hands and feet to those in need, showing the love of Christ in action.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), the One who conquered death and offers eternal life to all who believe (John 3:16). May His light shine in the darkness, and may His hope anchor every heart. Amen.

We have been sitting with your words and the immense weight they carry. What strikes us most is the sheer number of losses you name, abandonment threading through generations, families gone, spouses and children left, the little ones who never drew breath, and those who now find themselves utterly alone. We hear a heart that is not just grieving one thing, but a vast and disorienting pile of sorrow, and sometimes the hardest part is feeling there is no human shelter to turn to when the grief comes in waves like that. We are so sorry for all of it.

Your prayer for the despised and aborted unborn takes us back to something simple and true: you are still looking to God as the one who sees these hidden deaths. You are asking Him to do what only He can, to gather those fragile lives into His own safekeeping. That is not a small faith; it is a tenacious one, holding on when the losses seem too many to count.

One thing that might bring a sliver of grounding in all this is to give names, not literal names you may not know, but in a quiet moment to write out a few of the categories you listed (“the daughter abandoned... my neighbor’s babies... the brother who has no shelter”), just as you have prayed them here. Simply seeing them on paper can be a way of saying: these lives are not forgotten, these losses matter. You have already done that for us in this request, and we are glad you shared it.

We are praying with you now:

Lord Jesus, we are asking You to draw near to our friend who is carrying this heavy, tangled grief of abandonment and death. Be their shelter, their home, when no human refuge can be found. Look with mercy on every unborn child who was hated or discarded, and hold them now in Your complete peace. For all those named in this prayer, the abandoned wife, the lonely son, the betrayed friend, the unheard beggar, we ask that You bring even one small point of human connection or care in their path, and give our friend Your own steady presence tonight. In Your name alone, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The weight you are carrying is heavy indeed, a flood of loss, abandonment, a whole family line swept away, and the silent, unmarked graves of little ones who never drew breath outside the womb. I do not wish to hurry past that sorrow as though a few words could make it small. Behind your words I hear a heart that has seen too much emptiness: a house with no refuge, a street with no welcome, a mother or father who turned away when they should have held fast. You are standing in the gap, pleading mercy for the abandoned, for the wife without a husband, the child without a parent, the unborn whose only voice is a cry that nobody hears.

And yet, Someone does hear. The Lord who hears the ravens when they cry knows every name written on your heart. Those unborn babies, despised or forgotten by the very ones who should have cherished them, our Saviour is no stranger to them. He who did not hold back His own life has a special tenderness for the helpless. Did He not take little children up in His arms and bless them, even when others pushed them away? You may trust them into His keeping with perfect confidence. He does not need us to explain; His mercy is already theirs. The Lamb who was slain will shepherd them in green pastures beside still waters. Be at peace about them, they are safe.

And what of you, and all those you carry before the throne of grace, the solitary ones, the betrayed, those who have no roof but the sky and no friend but a stranger’s fleeting kindness? Psalm 27 says it exactly: “Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.” That word _receive_ is a strong, warm word, it means to take in, to gather up, to bring home. When every earthly door is bolted, the Lord’s door stands open. When every human arm is folded cold, the Everlasting Arms spread wide. I have often thought that the blackest envelope a letter can come in is the one lined with a father’s desertion or a mother’s scorn. But if you break the seal, inside there is always another message written in the blood of Jesus: “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

You may feel that you have nothing to offer, no claim to lay before God. That is the very point of the Gospel. The father in our Lord’s parable saw his son a great way off, still in rags, still stinking of the pigsty, and ran. He did not wait for a clean speech or a tidy promise. The prodigal’s misery was his only argument, and it was enough. So it is with you, and so it is with all the poor souls you are praying for. You do not need a house to stand in, or a family to speak for you, or even a tongue to form a prayer. A silent heart turned toward Jesus is louder in heaven than all the noise of the world. He is no miser with His mercy; He gives it as freely as the sun pours out its beams. And the very fact that you are interceding for others, though you yourself feel so bare, shows that the Spirit of Christ is working in you already.

Cast this whole tangle of grief onto Him. Every abandoned wife, every lonely child, every weeping sister and brother, every unborn little one, lay them one by one on the altar of His love. His arm is not shortened that it cannot save, and His ear is not heavy that it cannot hear. Underneath the deep waters of your trouble, the everlasting arms are holding you up. The storm may roar, but the water is shallow when you are in the hollow of His hand. He who gave His only Son to win us a home will not leave His own without shelter forever. Already, in ways you cannot yet see, He is making a refuge, if not in this world, then in the one where every tear is wiped away and there are no empty chairs at the table.

Let us pray.

Lord Jesus, we bring before You all who are abandoned, betrayed, forgotten. We bring the wives without husbands, the husbands without wives, the children left alone, the friend who has become a stranger. We bring the unborn little ones whom no human arms could welcome, and we trust them to Your everlasting arms. Shelter them under Your feathers, cover them with Your wings. For all who read these words and feel their own poverty of love and home, be their roof and their family. And grant them, by and by, a place in the house not made with hands, where there are many mansions. Amen.

We are deeply moved by the heavy burdens you have shared with us, and we want you to know that we have continued to lift up each of these heartbreaking situations in prayer. We have stood in the gap for the unborn babies who were lost, asking God to gather them into His loving arms and welcome them into heaven. We have prayed for all those suffering from abandonment—wives, husbands, daughters, sons, brothers, sisters, friends, and children left without shelter, love, or support—asking the Lord to be their refuge and strength, their ever-present help in times of trouble.

We have interceded for those who feel forsaken, declaring over them the truth of Psalm 27:10, that even if earthly parents abandon them, the Lord will receive them. We have pleaded with God to comfort the brokenhearted, to bind up their wounds, and to remind them of His unfailing love, as promised in Isaiah 49:15—that even if a mother could forget her child, He will never forget them. We have asked the Holy Spirit to surround them with His peace, to provide for their needs, and to lead them to safe places—both physically and spiritually.

If any of these prayers have been answered in ways you’ve seen or felt, we would be so grateful to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a source of encouragement and hope for others walking through similar pain. If, however, the weight of these burdens still feels heavy and unanswered, we ask that you share them with us again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, standing alongside you as you seek the Lord’s mercy, healing, and restoration.

May God’s grace sustain you, His love surround you, and His peace guard your heart as you press into Him. We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
