Abortive family ancients exterminate their generation.

We hear the deep anguish in your cry, grief for the unborn, sorrow for the abandoned, and mourning for generations lost. The pain of losing children, whether through miscarriage, abortion, or the severing of family bonds, is a wound only God’s mercy can heal. We stand with you in this lament, for Scripture tells us that even in our deepest despair, the Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this sorrow; we lift it before the throne of grace together.

The loss of unborn babies is a tragedy that grieves the heart of God. Every life is knit together by Him in the womb (Psalm 139:13-16), and the shedding of innocent blood, whether through abortion or miscarriage, is a violation of His holy design. We rebuke the spirit of death that has stolen these precious lives and declare that their souls are safe in the arms of Jesus. The Lord Himself gathers the little ones, for of such is the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 19:14). We entrust these children to His care, knowing He receives them with tenderness and love.

For those who have been abandoned, whether by parents, spouses, children, or friends, we pray for the Lord’s covering. The world may forsake, but God never will. As Psalm 27:10 declares, "Though my father and my mother have forsaken me, Yahweh will take me up." He is the Father to the fatherless and the Defender of the widow (Psalm 68:5). We pray for shelter, provision, and restoration of broken relationships where possible, but above all, for the peace that comes from knowing God as your refuge.

We must also address the sin of abortion directly. It is not merely a "choice" but the taking of a human life, a violation of the commandment, "You shall not murder" (Exodus 20:13). For those who have participated in abortion, whether as mothers, fathers, or enablers, we urge repentance and the healing that comes through Christ’s forgiveness. There is no sin too great for His grace (1 John 1:9). The blood of Jesus cleanses from all unrighteousness, and we pray for those bound by guilt to find freedom in Him.

For those who feel utterly alone, without home or family, we declare that God is your dwelling place (Psalm 90:1). He sets the solitary in families (Psalm 68:6) and provides for all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We pray for the Lord to open doors of refuge, godly communities, churches, and believers who will stand in the gap for you. You are not forgotten; you are seen by the One who numbers every hair on your head (Luke 12:7).

And to those who have lost generations, whether through death, estrangement, or the consequences of sin, we proclaim that God is the God of restoration. He makes all things new (Revelation 21:5) and can redeem even the most shattered family lines. We pray for revival in your bloodline, that future generations would rise up and call Him blessed (Psalm 145:4).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up every unborn child lost to abortion or miscarriage. We trust them into Your loving hands, knowing You receive them with joy. Comfort those who mourn, and break the chains of guilt and shame for those who have been part of this tragedy. For the abandoned, the lonely, and the broken, be their shelter and strength. Restore what has been stolen, heal what has been wounded, and let Your mercy flow like a river over every life touched by this pain. Raise up godly families, churches, and communities to be Your hands and feet in this world. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author of life and the Redeemer of all things. Amen.

Do not lose hope. The same God who raised Jesus from the dead is at work in your life. Cling to Him, for He is your hope and your future (Jeremiah 29:11). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Confess your sins, believe in His resurrection, and receive the gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9-10). He is waiting with open arms.

Your words carry the weight of so many losses, unborn children, broken families, and the ache of abandonment that echoes across generations. We hear in you a heart that refuses to look away from suffering, and that in itself is a precious thing. It can feel like too much to hold, as if the sheer number of sorrows might swallow up hope.

When you list one after another, sister, brother, neighbor, friend, beggar, the one seeking shelter or mercy, you are naming people whom God has not forgotten. The loneliness of having no house or family to turn to is a deep wound, and the silence of a world that despises the smallest among us is heavy. We sit with you in that heaviness, not to fix it quickly, but to bear it together before the Lord.

He does not need us to explain every tragedy to care about it. And though we may not see the healing this side of eternity, we trust that no cry for mercy escapes Him. The unborn are safe in His hands; those wandering without refuge are seen by Him when no one else will turn their head. The very fact that you are praying these things is evidence that His compassion is stirring in you.

We find ourselves praying that you would know, in your own heart, that you are not alone in carrying this. There are others who weep with you, and there is a God who draws near to the brokenhearted. If the lack of a shelter or support is your own reality too, please consider reaching out to a local church or a Christian counselor who can walk with you personally. It is not weak to need a hand.

Lord, have mercy.
Father, you see every life that was cut short, every child rejected, every person huddled without a home or a friend. We entrust the unborn to your everlasting arms. For those abandoned by family, be their refuge and raise up people who will stand in the gap. Comfort the grieving, and hold those who feel they have no one. In Jesus’ name, give us your presence and a glimpse of your faithful care, this day. Amen.

The groanings of your heart have not escaped the ear of the Lord. He who marks the sparrow’s fall and bottles the tears of the forsaken bends low to hear the cry of the barren womb and the lonely soul. You speak of little ones snatched away before they saw the light of day, and of families cut off as though their name had never been. This is a deep and ancient wound, a sorrow that seeps into the marrow of our mortality. But know this: the mercy of God is broader than the grave, and His tenderness reaches where no human hand can follow.

The Lamb upon the throne is the same who took infants in His arms and blessed them. Can we imagine that those who never drew a breath of this world’s air are forgotten by Him who breathed life into Adam? Though a mother may forget her nursing child, the Lord will not cast off the innocent. They are gathered, every one, into that blessedness where no hunger, thirst, or scorching heat can ever come. Heaven has no orphans, for the Father’s house is full of little ones redeemed by blood. I dare not speak where Scripture is silent, yet I find a sweet persuasion that the mercy which said, “Suffer the little children to come unto Me,” has received these silent souls to Himself.

As for the living who taste abandonment, whose father and mother have proved a dry brook, whose kin have scattered like chaff, flee at once to the promise you have quoted: “Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.” That word is a sure anchor. The mercy of God is not a distant hope; it comes running to meet the destitute. What is heaven but God Himself fully enjoyed? And even now, before we cross the river, He gives us foretastes of that bliss. The presence of Christ in the heart is heaven below. He that feeds His flock in glory is still the Shepherd who goes after the lost until He finds them. He seeks the abandoned by His Spirit, and often when we think ourselves most alone, He is nearer than our own breath.

Perhaps you feel your desolation so keenly that you wonder if mercy can ever reach so low. Hearken: the mercy of God is not a wage for the righteous; it is a gift for the undeserving. He finds a ransom, Christ Jesus, who gave Himself for the ungodly. This is the errand of mercy: to seek and to save that which was lost. And He is slow to anger, plenteous in mercy, because He is infinitely good. Let that goodness draw you. If you came to Him with nothing but emptiness and a mouth full of dust, He would fill you with the clusters of Eshcol.

Cast yourself upon the Lord Jesus. The wounds of the Lamb are the refuge for every soul ravaged by sin and sorrow. In His face we see the heaven of heavens. Look to Him, and the desert shall blossom. The families exterminated upon earth are not beyond the reach of His blood; the unborn carried to eternity before their eyes could weep are safe in a mercy that is both tender and omnipotent. God’s gentleness makes us great, and even now, while you plead, He answers. Mercy has outrun your prayers; the ransom was found before you cried. May the God of all comfort, whose mercy endures for ever, cause you to know that you are not abandoned. For in Christ Jesus, you are received, sheltered, and beloved, now and in ages to come.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

How can the heart not break under such a weight of sorrow? This prayer, tangled and gasping as it is, rises from a soul that has stared into the abyss of loss and abandonment. The cry for the unborn, for the exterminated generations, for the utterly forsaken, is a cry offered in the midst of a great darkness. And yet, it is precisely in this darkness that the light of God’s peculiar mercy shines. Do not imagine that the multitude of these tragedies, stretching back to ancient families, places them beyond His sight. The Lord is not a man, that His compassion should fail under a great number. For whom does He seek out? Is it not the lost, the broken, the ones whom the world has cast aside as worthless? You have named them all. You have brought them before the throne.

Consider the condition of these little ones, these unborn lives snatched away. They come before God with no worldly advocate, no recorded deeds of piety, no strength of their own. And this very powerlessness is their claim, for in their simplicity they mirror the citizens of the kingdom of heaven. Remember that in the prayers of the church, it is the innocent children whose cry for mercy is put forward for the guilty. If those who are lowly and simple can deliver the blameworthy by their prayers, we must have every confidence that God receives their own souls. They are not lost in some limbo of forgetfulness. They are gathered in the arms of the Shepherd who said, “Let the little children come to me.” Do not let the philosophers of this age, who trust nothing to faith, trouble you with questions of how something comes from nothing or demand an account of God’s hidden judgments. Faith itself teaches us that God is unborn and without beginning, a truth more wondrous than the creation of the world. We entrust these children to that same boundless mystery.

But what of the living? What of the beggar, the madhouse, the forsaken wife, the abandoned husband, the son or daughter with no house of refuge? You have cried out for mercy, and the parable of the beaten man on the road to Jericho gives us our rule. His need alone was his claim. The Samaritan, whom the world scorned, did not first demand to know his lineage or his village before binding his wounds. His affliction was a just claim on his aid. You who carry this grief in your own heart, guard against the temptation to let sorrow curdle into despair or hardness towards those around you whose wounds are visible. Every human being in affliction is God’s, be they ever so unlovely or ungrateful. Mercy is an excellent thing, but we are commanded to show it with cheerfulness, with a spirit so large that the receiver feels he is bestowing a favor by taking what we give. The widow’s two mites outweighed the rich man’s bags of gold because her spirit was rich and free. Do not let grief poison generosity. Do not count the cost of lifting up the fallen when the return is a kingdom.

You feel that your own family line, the “ancient families,” have been exterminated. The promise is that though father and mother forsake us, the Lord will receive us. This is not a poetic sentiment. It is a testament. The God who makes earth into heaven by the lives of His faithful ones is able to create a new lineage, a new family, for the solitary, gathering them into a house not made with hands. Your task, even in the valley of tears, is to shine with such gentle conduct, such purity from wrath and bitterness, that those who see you will say, “If the Christians become angels here, what will they be after their departure?” This is how we build the kingdom from the ruins of the world. You have asked that these babies be received into heaven. Pray with confidence, then, for the One who receives them also commands you to be His hands of mercy for the abandoned still walking among you. The same mercy that seeks to save the innocent also seeks to redeem the desolate. Go, then, and do likewise.
