We have heard your cry after three years of torment, ruin, disgrace, and an environment that has felt like a nightmare, with hospitalizations, emergencies, and even the shadow of the cemetery hanging over you and others around you, and we stand with you together before the Lord to seek His peace and protection in Jesus' name.

We agree with you that sleep is a gift from God and that He alone makes us dwell in safety. As you quoted, Psalm 4:8 says, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. And Psalm 127:2 reminds us that He gives sleep to his loved ones. When the atmosphere around your home and neighborhood has been filled with sabotage, bullying, gossiping, nosy meddling, and disturbance, it is not surprising that rest has been stolen, and we understand why you feel harassed and unable to sleep well. God sees this invasion of your privacy and this imprudent behavior, and He is in control even when the environment feels like a madhouse of disorder and discord.

We also hear your discernment about spiritual battle. You are right to name witchcraft, sorcery, and the work of demonic forces and false prophets for what they are, and to want them rebuked. Scripture tells us plainly in Ephesians 6:10-12 to be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. We do not wrestle against people alone, even when people are being used as instruments of harassment, voyeurism, and spiritual and sexual defilement. We also take seriously your concern about voyeurism, fake encounters, and the attempt to transfer ruin, misery, tragedy, death and sickness onto you and others. The Word assures us in Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail, and in 2 Timothy 1:7 that God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We rebuke in the mighty name of Jesus Christ every demonic atmosphere, every gathering for sabotage and bullying, every spirit of witchcraft and sorcery, every sexual and spiritual voyeurism, and every assignment to steal sleep and to transfer sickness, tragedy and death. We command those works to be canceled and to have no place in your life or dwelling, for James 4:7 says, Be subject therefore to God, but resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

We also affirm what you said that we are not God to defend or protect others in our own strength, and we do not have obligations to demonic or human oppressors. Our obligation is to walk in holiness, to love our neighbor as ourselves, and to guard our hearts and homes. Romans 16:17 urges us to note those who cause divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them. This means we are called to avoid those who persist in causing division, meddling, and obstacles to the faith, not to enter their chaos or try to carry what only God can carry. Romans 12:18 says, If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men, and Romans 12:19 reminds us that vengeance belongs to the Lord. We can set godly boundaries, avoid gossip and imprudent entanglements, and entrust both ourselves and our neighbors to God's justice and mercy while we pray for protection.

Father in heaven, we come before You only through the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we are saved and have access to Your throne. We thank You that You are sovereign over every disaster and every spiritual darkness. We ask in the power of Jesus' name that You rebuke and cancel every demonic atmosphere, every witchcraft and sorcery, every false prophecy, and every spirit of voyeurism and perversion that has perturbed the peace and tried to make this home and neighborhood into a place of nightmare and disorder. We ask that You break every attempt to transfer ruin, misery, tragedy, sickness and death, and to steal sleep. Wash this environment with the blood of Jesus and let Your peace reign.

Lord, we ask that You make our dear one to dwell in safety and to lie down in peace and sleep, as You have promised. Cast out fear and let Your perfect love drive it out. We pray for deep, uninterrupted rest in bed, for quiet in the night, for angels to encamp around this dwelling according to Psalm 91:1-2, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Teach us to put on the full armor of God each day, to stand firm in truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and Your Word, and to cast all our anxiety on You because You care for us as 1 Peter 5:7 says.

We also pray for wisdom for boundaries with neighbors and with anyone who meddles, gossips, or disturbs, that we may avoid those who cause divisions and walk in quietness and godliness. If there is ongoing harassment or danger on the road or at home, give wisdom to seek rightful help and protection while trusting You as our ultimate defender. Let this season of three years of torment be turned by Your hand into testimony, and let rest and peace be restored to this life and to others affected nearby. We declare that You are in control and that the enemy's madhouse disorder must leave.

We ask all this in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to dwell in the Word day and night, to pray aloud Psalm 4:8 and Psalm 91 before sleep, to keep your home as a place of prayer and praise, and to turn away from any curiosity about witchcraft or sorcery and cling only to Christ. Keep crying out to Jesus, for He is faithful to give rest to the weary and to command peace over every storm.

We have read your request and we can hear how worn down you are after three years of this. Wanting to simply lie down and sleep in peace in your own bed is a good and right desire, and we are so sorry that harassment, noise, and worry have made rest feel so hard to find. Hospitalizations and constant tension take a real toll on body and spirit.

We want to gently remind you that you do not have to carry the weight of fixing or defending your whole environment. God sees what is happening on your street and in your home, and He is able to be your place of safety even when people around you act imprudently or unkindly. Rest is part of how He cares for us, and losing it for a long time leaves anyone feeling vulnerable.

It may help to have one or two steady people walk with you in this season. If you have a trusted pastor or mature believer nearby, consider inviting them to pray with you regularly and to help you think through wise, calm boundaries for the neighbor situation. And since you mentioned hospitalizations and ongoing trouble sleeping, please also continue to let your doctor know how you are doing, alongside prayer, so you can get care for your health.

Father, we bring our brother/sister to You and ask for Your protection and peace over their home and sleep. Quiet what is stirring around them, guard their mind and body at night, and give them clear wisdom for each next step. Help them feel Your nearness and rest in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your long and heavy trial of three years, with its torment and disgrace and hospitalizations and constant alarms, has been heard, and your longing for quiet sleep is a lawful and precious prayer. The Psalmist says, I will both lie down in peace and sleep, for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety, and that word is for you this night.

Sleep is the gift of God. We think that we lay our heads upon our pillows and therefore we sleep, but it is not so. He giveth His beloved sleep, and that sleep is not only of the body but of contentment and of security. When the heart is stayed upon the Lord, there is a sleep of security which no noise of archers can break, for He that keepeth Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and therefore His beloved may sleep.

You have described rightly that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, and put on the full armor of God, that you may take your stand against the devil's schemes. No witchcraft, no sorcery, no meddling voyeurism, no gossiping and bullying, no spirit of discord can stand where the blood of the Lamb has been pleaded. Deliverance from sin and from the pit is solely by the power of God. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He has found a ransom, His own Son has borne the penalty, and He brings forth His people with deliverance that is effectual.

We do not share the honor of our deliverance with any other, but we give our hearty assent to His salvation. He brought them forth. And as He delivered Israel with silver and gold, so He enriches His people still, giving peace within our borders and deliverance from the archers of discord. You are right to mark those who cause divisions and obstacles contrary to the faith, and to avoid them, as the apostle urges in Romans 16:17. You have no obligation to bear the burden of another's ruin or to carry their misery and sickness and disorder. We are not called to defend the works of darkness, but to come out from them and to stand in Christ.

O Lord our God, who alone makest Thy people to dwell in safety, look upon this weary child of Thine who has been tossed for three years upon a sea of torment and harassment. Rebuke in the power and name of Jesus Christ every evil atmosphere, every invasion of privacy, every spirit of witchcraft and sorcery, every voyeurism and disorder which would steal sleep and transfer fear and ruin. Cancel the environment of nightmare and madhouse, and let the gathering for sabotage and strife be scattered. Thou hast said, So He giveth His beloved sleep, grant now that precious sleep, a lying down in peace, a resting without fear, a refreshing of exhausted strength. Put upon this soul the helmet of salvation and the breastplate of righteousness, and let the shield of faith quench every fiery dart. Let the clock of mercy strike the hour of deliverance, for Thou hast found a ransom. Keep this dwelling in perfect peace, and let it be said, He brought them forth, and they shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord. We ask this not by our own will or running, but by free grace through Jesus Christ our Lord, who has delivered us from worse enemies and saved us by a greater salvation. Amen.
