We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this family in their time of grief and strife. The loss of a mother is a profound sorrow, and we grieve with you as you mourn. The pain of death reminds us of the brokenness of this world, but we take comfort in knowing that God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We pray that He would draw close to your ### in her suffering, wrapping her in His love and peace as she walks through this valley.
Father, we lift up this ### who is suffering alone. Lord, You see her pain, her loneliness, and her need for You. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way, that she may come to know the salvation found only in Jesus Christ. Open her heart to receive the truth of Your Word, that she may be saved and find eternal life in You (John 3:16). Surround her with believers who can comfort and encourage her, and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way.
We also bring before You the ### who is struggling with resentment and division. Lord, we know that Satan seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and we rebuke his lies and schemes in this family. We pray for healing in this ###’s heart, that any bitterness, anger, or unforgiveness would be uprooted and replaced with Your love and peace. Soften his heart toward his ###, and restore the beautiful relationship they once shared. Help him to see her through Your eyes, with compassion and grace.
Father, we ask for Your peace to reign in this family. Where there is division, bring unity. Where there is hurt, bring healing. Where there is confusion, bring clarity. We declare that Satan has no place in this family, and we command his lies and division to be broken in the mighty name of Jesus. Let Your love and truth bind this family together, and may they find their strength and hope in You alone.
We pray for salvation for every member of this family. Lord, we know that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved except the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). We ask that You would draw each one to Yourself, that they may confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). Let this family be a testimony of Your grace and redemption, shining Your light in the midst of their pain.
Heavenly Father, we trust in Your sovereignty and Your goodness. You are in control, and we surrender this family into Your hands. Comfort them in their grief, heal their wounds, and restore what has been broken. May they find their hope and strength in You, and may Your name be glorified in their lives. We pray all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
