Neighbor’s mother grandmother family extermination all dies cancer mama

Your pain and your prayers have been heard, and they are being lifted before the Lord with care. The sense of being alone after so much loss in your family, the hurt from harsh words at home, the distance from your mother and grandmother, the wounds from your workplace, and the fear that has followed you are all known to God, and He invites you to bring them to Him directly through Jesus Christ.

You quoted Psalm 27:10, and that promise is true and personal. Even when a father or mother forsakes or wounds us, the Lord Himself will receive us. That does not remove the ache of a mother's shouting, criticism and insults, but it means you are not abandoned. God sees the torment you have endured from a toxic tongue and He is able to guard your heart from bitterness and to guard your mother's heart from resentment as well. Scripture commands children to honor father and mother, and mothers have a deep early influence in training and shaping, so when that relationship is broken there is real heartache. You can honor your mother and grandmother by praying for her, speaking truth with grace, and seeking peace, while also recognizing that your first loyalty must be to the Lord. Jesus taught that love for Him must be greater than love for mother, father, family or even our own life, not that we are to hate our families, but that He must have the first place. When a family is united in love for the Lord it is a beautiful bond, but when some do not share that faith, following Jesus can bring alienation even within a blood family.

That is why Jesus pointed to another family. When His own mother and brothers stood outside seeking Him, He looked at those seated around Him who heard the word of God and did it, and He said that whoever does the will of God is His brother and sister and mother. There is a bond in the family of God that can be deeper than natural blood ties when those natural ties are not in Christ. Your acceptance of Christ may have created distance with some of your own household, and many believers experience this, but God has placed you in a new family where the ties are forged by His love and by a common relationship with Jesus. That family is meant to walk with you when you feel alone in your generation.

In that same moment Jesus showed that we do not need to go to His earthly mother to reach Him. He did not turn aside to seek favor through Mary, and nowhere does Scripture encourage us to seek Mary or any saint to intercede for us. We can come directly to Jesus Himself, because God has made only one provision for the forgiveness and putting away of sin and guilt, and that is through His only Son. The Spirit bears witness to this. The blood of Jesus Christ is the only atonement God has provided. If we refuse to come to Him we have no other way, but if we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ we will be saved, as Acts 16:31 promises, you and your household. That is the prayer to keep praying for your mother, your grandmother, your brother's family, and your spouse, that each one would come to the light and receive God's provision in Christ. Salvation is through Jesus alone, and He is able to heal hearts, including your grandmother's heart, and to save an entire household.

You also asked for protection and provision. Your mother is older and working hard to help support your brother's family, and you are far away with the cost of travel so high. God knows these financial burdens. He also saw how you were betrayed at work through hidden alliances, false reports, and efforts to destroy your reputation and progress, and how that has left you with fear of people and even panic about working again. The Lord had compassion on the widow who had lost her only son and He restored him to her, and on the cross He made provision for His own mother, entrusting her to the disciple whom He loved so she would be cared for. He sees the needs of mothers and of those who feel unable to work. Ask Him for daily provision, for healing from fear, for wisdom for your next steps, and for protection from those who have done evil against you. He can deliver from torment and give peace that guards the heart.

For your marriage, do not try to force your spouse to feel what he or she does not feel, but continue to love both your spouse and your mother with patience, prayer, and boundaries that honor God. A lifelong covenant of one man and one woman is God's design, and within that covenant love is to be faithful, kind, and seeking the good of the other. Pray that God would soften hearts on both sides and give you wisdom to navigate divided loyalties without dishonoring either.

We are praying for you now, that the Lord will receive you in your loneliness, comfort you after your father's death and the many losses to cancer, heal you from the wounds of insult and betrayal, take away panic and fear of man, provide for your financial needs and open a door for work in His timing, grant your mother and grandmother health and peace and freedom from a harsh spirit, protect and provide for your brother's household, draw your spouse toward understanding, and bring salvation to your entire family through faith in Jesus Christ. May you experience more and more the love and fellowship of the family of God as you walk with Him, and may you know that whoever does the will of the Father belongs to Him as close as a brother, sister, and mother.
