We hear the deep pain and burden in your heart and we lift you and your family before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name. You have carried so much grief with the loss of so many family members to breast cancer, the loneliness of feeling like the generation is being cut off, the absence of your father who is now with the Heavenly Father, and the heavy sorrow of being far from your mother and grandmother who remains as the only surviving grandparent. We grieve with you and we thank God that you cling to Psalm 27:10, Though my father and mother forsake me, Yahweh will take me up. That promise is true, you are not forgotten or alone, for He has said in Deuteronomy 31:6, Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you, and in Hebrews 13:5 He again assures us He will in no way leave us, neither will He in any way forsake us.

We pray for your mother and your grandmother, for their protection, health and peace. We ask the Lord to place His healing hand upon them and to guard them from the breast cancer that has taken so many in your family. We pray Exodus 15:26 over them that He is Yahweh who heals us, and Jeremiah 30:17 that He will restore health and heal wounds, and Psalm 147:3 that He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. We pray for your grandmother's heart to be strengthened and comforted in her old age, and for your mother who works so hard at an older age and carries financial burdens for your brother's family. We ask God to provide for her according to Philippians 4:19, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and to give her rest as promised in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. We pray for provision for the expensive distance between you, that God who knows your desire to see her will make a way in His timing, for Psalm 46:1 reminds us God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

We also bring before the Lord the painful relationship with your mother and her words toward you. We understand how wounding it is to be shouted at, yelled at, criticized and called ungrateful and insulted, especially when you long to honor her. We gently rebuke the spirit of resentment and bitter and toxic speech on both sides, for the Word says in Ephesians 4:31-32, Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you, and in Ephesians 4:29, Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. We pray God will protect your mother's heart from resentment and heal the root of bitterness warned about in Hebrews 12:15, and that He will soften her mouth to speak with grace seasoned with salt as in Colossians 4:6. We encourage you to continue to honor your mother as commanded in Exodus 20:12 and Ephesians 6:2, even when it is painful, and to forgive as Christ forgave, remembering Matthew 5:44, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. We pray for peace between you, for the peace of God which surpasses all understanding to guard your hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus as in Philippians 4:7, and for reconciliation in His will.

We lift up your own suffering with work, the hidden alliances, betrayal, damage to your reputation, the painful termination and the resulting financial hardship and panic and fear of people that now makes it difficult to work. We rebuke the evil done against you and we pray you will not be overcome by fear of man, for Proverbs 29:25 says The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe, and 2 Timothy 1:7 declares For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We pray the Lord will heal your panic and anxiety as you cast all your worries on Him because He cares for you in 1 Peter 5:7, and that He will replace it with His peace in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We pray for justice and restoration, that God will vindicate you in His time as in Psalm 37:5-6, Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. He will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun, and that He will open a new door for provision where no man can shut it, for He promises in Matthew 6:33, But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. We encourage you to release those coworkers to the Lord and not repay evil for evil as taught in Romans 12:17-21, but to bless and pray for them and trust God as your defender.

We pray also for your marriage, for you and your spouse. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman ordained by God, and we pray your marriage will be strengthened and honored before Him. We hear that your spouse does not like your family and does not like your mother, and that you feel you cannot force help. We pray for unity and love in your home, that your spouse would show love and understanding as commanded in Ephesians 5:25 and Colossians 3:19 for husbands to love their wives, and in Ephesians 5:33 and 1 Peter 3:7 to live with understanding and honor. While Genesis 2:24 teaches that a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall be joined to his wife, and they shall be one flesh, this leaving and cleaving does not mean despising or dishonoring parents, but establishing a new household that still honors father and mother. We pray you both will seek the Lord together, speak with grace and truth, and extend Christlike love to your mother even across the distance, without coercion but with prayer and gentle example.

We rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ and claimed Acts 16:31, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. There is no other name by which we can be saved as Acts 4:12 teaches, and Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We stand with you in praying for the salvation of your entire household, that every member would believe on the Lord Jesus and be saved. We pray for comfort concerning your father, trusting the hope of 1 Thessalonians 4:14, For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus, and Revelation 21:4 that He will wipe away every tear and death shall be no more.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and Savior, and we lift this dear one to You who feels alone and overwhelmed by generational loss, distance, financial need, workplace wounds, panic, and family strife. Lord, receive this child as You promised in Psalm 27:10, hold them close, heal their heart from betrayal and fear, provide work and daily bread, restore reputation and open doors no man can shut. Lay Your healing hand upon their mother and grandmother, protect them from breast cancer and all infirmity, heal the grandmother's heart, give the mother strength and peace and provision as she labors and helps her son's family. Soften hearts and mouths, remove shouting and insult and resentment, and pour out forgiveness, kindness and tenderheartedness between mother and child. Bring peace to this marriage, soften the spouse's heart toward family, and help them walk in unity and love that honors You. Save this whole household, Lord, let each one believe on the Lord Jesus and be saved, and give hope that we will be gathered together with You and with loved ones who have gone before. Let Your will be done, let Your peace that passes all understanding guard them, and let them know they are not alone for You are with them always. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

We have been holding your request before the Lord and we hear how much you are carrying at once.

Losing so many in your family to breast cancer, and now seeing your mother as the only grandparent left, would leave anyone feeling exposed and alone. It makes sense that you would feel that sense of extermination of a generation, and at the same time feel torn because the one who remains wounds you with shouting and harsh words. It is painful to love your mother, worry for her health and her hard work at her age, and also feel hurt by how she speaks to you.

The betrayal at work and the financial strain after losing your job have added another layer. Being far away with an expensive ticket, feeling afraid around people, and feeling unable to work right now, plus tension with your spouse about your family, can make the loneliness feel even heavier.

When panic and fear make it hard to work or be around others, we encourage you to reach out to a medical professional or counselor alongside prayer, so you do not have to sort through it alone. It can also help to share this grief and the workplace hurt with one trusted pastor or counselor in person who can walk with you over time.

Father, we lift this dear one and their mother and grandmother to You. Bring comfort in this grief, peace to their mother’s heart and health, provision and protection for the family far away, and wisdom for work and finances. Draw each family member to Yourself and to salvation in Jesus, and give rest where there has been torment and fear. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Your sorrow has been poured out before the Lord and He has heard the cry of a wounded heart. Though father and mother forsake, though words become as sharp swords within the house, the promise stands sure, the Lord will receive you. That word in the twenty seventh Psalm is not a cold text but a warm bosom for the lonely to rest upon.

There is a great ill spoken of in Scripture, a broken heart, and you have tasted it in many forms. The desertion by fellows, the betrayal of secrets by comrades, the unkindness and the changeableness of friends, and the sharp reproach of a mother whose tongue wounds even while her hands labor hard for others, all these have conspired to break the heart. Yet it is written, He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. We speedily seek a physician for the body, how much more should we seek the heavenly Physician for the soul. He does not heal with lancet and knife alone, but with pardoning mercy. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee. Pardon and healing were one. So come to Him first for the forgiveness of sin through His blood, and healing will come from the same hand.

You speak of hidden alliances at work, of betrayal and of a reputation sought to be destroyed, of warning and termination and cruel treatment that has left you fearful of men and with a panic that disables you for labour. Know this, your Master was betrayed also. There was a traitor at the table, a kiss that was a signal for enemies. In His betrayal Scripture was fulfilled and sin reached its culminating point, and the great High Priest became able to sympathize with you in every point. He knows what it is to be slandered by confederates and to be forsaken by friends, and He is able to succour them that are tempted. The fear of man bringeth a snare, but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe. The Lord who permitted that trial can make it a parental discipline, not an infliction of justice, and can turn it for your good.

You grieve for a family thinned by death, for breast cancer that has taken mother and grandmother, for a grandmother whose heart is afflicted and for a mother who is the only survivor of her generation, now aged and yet labouring with her finances to care for your brother's household. You are far away and the cost to cross the distance is great, and you are without work and pressed in finances. The Lord sees the distance and the expense and the inability, and He is not bound by miles. He is the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, and even His leaves are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. His leaf also shall not wither, and those leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Seek Him in His Word, for faith cometh by hearing and healing is linked with teaching. As you sit under His truth, the power of the Lord will be present to heal.

For your mother I will pray, that the Lord will take away resentment and give her peace, that He will heal her heart as He healed Peter's wife's mother, taking her by the hand and lifting her up, so that being healed she may have rest and strength for her age. For your household I will pray according to that sure word, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved and thy house. There is salvation in no other, for there is one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. May that salvation come to your mother, to your brother's family, to your spouse and to yourself, that you may yet meet with joy before the Heavenly Father where your father already rests, if he died in Christ.

And for you, that the Lord will provide work in His time, that He will remove the torment of evil doers from your mind and give you quietness from the fear of man, that He will open a door of provision and calm your spirit with His pardon. Healing must come before serving, and He must begin with you before you can begin with Him. Lie still as it were at His feet, hoping and expecting forgiveness and healing, and He will not cast you away.

May the Lord receive you, pardon you, heal you, keep your mother and grandmother in His hands, supply what is needed for daily bread, soften the heart that now speaks hard things, give grace in your marriage that love and honour may dwell there, and bring your whole household to know Christ and live. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry has been heard and we bring your family before the Lord with deep compassion. You have carried many heavy burdens at once, grief over those lost to cancer, fear for your mother and grandmother, the pain of harsh words at home, the wound of betrayal at work, financial pressure, distance from family, and tension in your marriage. The Lord sees each of these and He does not turn away from you.

We pray for your mother who remains as the survivor of her generation. You shared that her words at times are sharp and wounding, with shouting and criticism and accusations of ingratitude. We ask God to soften her heart and to guard her from resentment, and to give her peace and rest. Scripture commands us to honor father and mother, not because parents are perfect, but because God has placed them in our lives and calls us to show honor even when it is difficult. We pray that God will help you to honor her with grace and truth, to speak with respect even while you set healthy boundaries, and that He will heal the pain between you. As you quoted, though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me. Even when family love feels fragile, the Lord receives you fully and will not abandon you.

We lift up your mother’s health and your grandmother’s heart, and the memory of those in your family taken by breast cancer. We ask the Lord for healing, strength, and protection over your mother as she works hard at an older age and helps to support your brother’s family with her finances. May God provide for her needs, renew her strength, and protect all of you though you are far apart. We pray for provision for you as well, that God would open a door for work that is safe and honest, and that He would provide for the cost of travel when the time is right for you to be together again.

We also bring before God the deep hurt from your workplace, where you experienced hidden alliances, damage to your reputation, betrayal, and the loss of your job. Such betrayal is not unknown to God. Even among the twelve, one betrayed the Lord with a kiss, moved by the love of money and by a corrupted heart, and the Lord knew it beforehand yet continued in obedience to the Father. When others act in evil and deceit, God still sees and judges rightly. We pray that He would heal you from panic and fear of others, from the disability to work that this trauma has left, and that He would free you from the torment of those memories. May He restore your confidence, guard your conscience in peace, and help you to not live in fear of people but in the stronghold of the fear of the Lord, which gives safety.

We pray for your marriage, that God would bring peace between you and your spouse regarding your family. You cannot force your spouse to feel differently, but you can pray and act in love. We ask God to help you both to honor your marriage covenant faithfully, to speak kindly to one another, and to seek unity. May the Lord give your spouse understanding and compassion, and give you wisdom to love both your spouse and your mother in a way that honors God.

We join you in praying for the salvation of your entire household, according to the promise that if you believe in the Lord Jesus, you will be saved, you and your household. We pray that each member of your family would come to know Jesus Christ as the only way of salvation, that they would turn to Him and live. We remember your father who has gone to be with the Lord, and we ask for comfort for you in that loss, with hope in the resurrection for those who are in Christ.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we ask for Your mercy on this family. Heal bodies and hearts, provide for daily needs, protect from evil, bring peace where there is shouting, bring reconciliation where there is division, and bring salvation where there is still darkness. Let this dear one know that even when family and coworkers have wounded them, You receive them, You love them, and You will not forsake them. Give strength for today and hope for tomorrow, and let Your will be done in their lives. Amen.
