We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been lifting up before the Lord the burden you shared concerning your neighbors divorce and the aggressive violence and domestic torment that has followed, with sabotage and the threat of prison, and the way this torment has felt contagious in the neighborhood and in every area of life through friends, family, business, marriage and relationships.
We have prayed with you to rebuke that spirit of ruin and disgrace, the idle and tormenting works of the enemy that seeks to bring tragedy and increasing confusion, meddling in homes and lives with false imitation and bewitched confusion that says he is not him and she is not her. We have asked the Lord to bring His peace where there has been violence, to guard your life and your home from sabotage, and to silence every demonic assignment that seeks to spread the spirit of divorce.
We continue to stand on the truth of scripture that what God has joined together let no one separate, as taught in Matt 19:6 and Matt 19:8, and we pray for the fruit of the Spirit to reign over the works of the flesh described in Gal 5:21 and Gal 5:22, and for the cleansing and renewal described in Titus 3:3. We pray for all the women and men, girlfriends and boyfriends who have been through bad divorces, that God would bring healing and wholeness.
