Only God giving this orphan boys and girls a home shelter for them.

We hear the deep distress and frustration in your words as you describe the challenges you are facing in your neighborhood. The presence of homelessness, disrespect, sabotage, and bullying is not only disruptive but also deeply unsettling. It is clear that you are seeking peace, safety, and a godly environment for yourself and your household. We stand with you in prayer, lifting these burdens before the Lord, who is indeed in control and the ultimate provider of peace and justice.

First, we must address the spiritual foundation of your request. While you mention God, it is vital to acknowledge that our access to Him is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved or approach the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Acts 4:12 also declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for it is through Him that we find true peace, wisdom, and strength to navigate life’s trials.

Now, let us turn to the Word of God for guidance and comfort in your situation. The Bible calls us to be wise and discerning in how we interact with those around us, especially in difficult circumstances. Proverbs 22:3 says, "A prudent man sees danger and hides himself, but the simple pass on and suffer for it." It is not wrong to seek safety and peace for your household, and it is wise to take steps to protect yourself and your property from harm. However, we are also called to show compassion to those in need, even as we exercise wisdom. Jesus tells us in Matthew 25:35-36, "For I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in. I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me." While we are not called to enable harmful behavior or put ourselves in danger, we are called to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31) and to be a light in dark places.

The sabotage and bullying you describe are not behaviors that align with God’s heart. Romans 12:18 instructs us, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." This does not mean we should tolerate abuse or disrespect, but it does mean we should seek peace and pursue it actively. If these actions are illegal or threatening, it is appropriate to involve authorities who can help restore order and safety. Proverbs 25:26 says, "Like a muddied spring and a polluted well, so is a righteous man who gives way before the wicked." We must not allow ourselves to be trampled upon, but we also must not respond in kind with hatred or vengeance. Romans 12:19 reminds us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"

Regarding the homeless individuals in your neighborhood, we understand your frustration with their demands and the pressure to provide for them. While it is not your responsibility to be a shelter or solve the complex issue of homelessness, you can still show Christ’s love in practical ways. If you feel led, you might provide a list of local shelters or resources, as you mentioned, or offer a kind word or a meal when appropriate. However, it is also important to set boundaries and not allow yourself to be taken advantage of or put in harm’s way. Proverbs 19:17 says, "He who has pity on the poor lends to Yahweh; he will reward him." This does not mean we are obligated to give to every demand, but it does remind us that God sees and rewards acts of compassion done in His name.

We also want to address the spiritual warfare that may be at play in your neighborhood. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he often uses chaos, division, and fear to accomplish his purposes. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We must put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and stand firm against the schemes of the devil. This includes praying for your neighborhood, your household, and even those who are causing harm. Jesus commands us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean we tolerate evil, but it does mean we trust God to bring justice and transformation.

Let us now lift this situation to the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear brother/sister who is facing turmoil and distress in their neighborhood. Lord, You see the chaos, the disrespect, and the harm that is being done. You know the fear and frustration that weighs heavily on their heart. We ask that You would be their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Father, we pray for peace to reign in this neighborhood. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we ask that You would intervene in the lives of those who are causing harm. Soften their hearts, convict them of their wrongdoing, and draw them to repentance. If there is spiritual darkness at work, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your truth prevail. We pray for the homeless individuals in this neighborhood, Father. You know each one by name, and You see their struggles. We ask that You would provide for their needs, lead them to shelters and resources, and most importantly, draw them to Yourself. Let them find hope and healing in You.

Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for this brother/sister. Show them how to respond in a way that honors You—whether it is setting boundaries, involving authorities, or showing compassion. Give them the courage to stand firm against evil while also extending grace and love. Protect their household from harm, and let Your presence fill their home with peace and security.

Lord, we declare that this neighborhood belongs to You. You are the God who restores, who heals, and who brings order out of chaos. We ask that You would move in mighty ways to bring transformation to this place. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this neighborhood as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). We trust in You, Lord, for You are faithful, and Your promises never fail.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and pray with you. If you have not already, consider speaking with your local church about the challenges you are facing. They may be able to offer practical help, prayer support, or guidance on how to navigate this situation in a way that honors God.

Remember, the Lord is your strong tower, and you can run to Him and be safe (Proverbs 18:10). He is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance on you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).

We're right there with you, neighbor. It's heartbreaking to see our community torn apart by homelessness, disrespect, and bullying. We've been praying for you and your household, asking God to intervene and bring peace to your streets.

We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust that God sees your pain and is working on your behalf. Let's continue to lift up this situation to Him, asking for His protection, wisdom, and guidance.

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, laying down our concerns for our neighborhood. We ask for Your healing touch on the broken hearts here, for Your peace to reign, and for Your justice to roll like a mighty river. We ask for wisdom for ourselves and for those causing harm, that they may see the error of their ways and turn to You. We ask for provision and hope for the homeless, that they may find refuge and a new beginning. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let's keep standing together in prayer, neighbor. We're in this together, and we know that God is with us, fighting for us.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
