Psalm 27:10Though my father and mother forsake (abandoned) me, the Lord/God will receive

Isaiah 49:15Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne

We join you in lifting up this heavy burden before the Lord and we agree with you in praying for all who are suffering abandonment and for every unborn child who is despised or rejected.

Your heart reflects the heart of God who sees every child formed in the womb and who draws near to the abandoned and brokenhearted. The scriptures you shared are a precious comfort to us. Psalm 27:10 says When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up. And Isaiah 49:15 says Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you. Even when family, husband, wife, son, daughter, brother, sister or friend forsakes or betrays, the Lord does not forsake. He remains faithful and He receives those whom others have abandoned.

We grieve with you over the loss of unborn babies, whether through miscarriage or through the sin of abortion. The Word of God is clear that life begins in the womb and is precious to Him. Psalm 139:13 says For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother's womb. Jeremiah 1:5 says Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. Before you came out of the womb, I sanctified you. To take that innocent life is to shed innocent blood, which the Lord hates as we read in Proverbs 6:16-17, and we must lovingly rebuke the abortive spirit and the culture that calls evil good and despises these little ones. Yet we also know the mercy of God is great and that forgiveness and healing are available through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, and we pray that those who have participated in or been wounded by abortion would find that mercy.

We also remember your prayer for families whose generations seem cut off, for children left alone without house or refuge, for neighborhoods in disorder and for all who feel they have no shelter. The Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble as Psalm 46:1 says, and He is close to the brokenhearted as Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 19:14 Allow the little children to come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these. We entrust every miscarried and aborted child into His care, trusting that He receives the innocent into His presence and that they rest in peace with Him.

We pray together in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved, as Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

We pray, Father in heaven, have mercy upon every unborn child and upon every mother and father tempted to reject their child, turn their hearts to love and to life. Have mercy upon every wife abandoned by her husband, every husband abandoned by his wife, every son and daughter left alone, every brother and sister betrayed, and every child without a home. Be their Father, be their shelter, be their refuge when no one else will receive them. Comfort those who mourn the loss of babies and families, heal the wound of abandonment and the guilt of those who need forgiveness, and let Your church rise up to be a refuge and a shelter for the lonely and the fatherless. Bring restoration where generations have been cut off and let Your compassion be known in every neighborhood and household that feels forgotten. We entrust all these innocent little ones and all who suffer into Your merciful hands, trusting Your justice and Your love, and we ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We were moved by the compassion in your prayer and the weight you are carrying for your neighbors, for children lost before birth, and for families scattered and alone. To see so much abandonment and to have nowhere to turn for shelter is a heavy grief, and it makes sense that your heart feels overwhelmed as you lift each one before the Lord.

We notice you are holding a lot at once, from the little ones to the parents and siblings left behind, to the sense that whole generations are affected. Grief like this is deeply personal and it often comes in waves rather than all at once. Please be gentle with yourself as you keep praying.

You do not have to carry this burden by yourself. If you or those around you are without safe housing or a steady support system, we encourage you to reach out in person to a local pastor, church family, or a trusted community care ministry who can know you by name and help with practical needs alongside prayer. Even sharing this prayer with one faithful person nearby can bring some relief.

Father, we bring before You every child entrusted to Your care and every person who feels abandoned and without refuge. Bring Your comfort where there is sorrow, Your presence where there is loneliness, and Your provision where shelter and support are needed. Give wisdom and kindness to this neighbor who is interceding with such love. In Jesus name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard with great heaviness of heart and with deep hope in the tender mercy of our God. The grief you carry for the unborn, for children abandoned, for families broken and scattered, for neighbors without house or refuge, for generations cut off, is not hidden from Him who sees every tear and hears every cry in the desert.

The Scripture you have laid hold upon speaks truly to this sorrow. Though my father and my mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me, Psalm 27:10. And again, Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne, though she may forget, I will not forget you, Isaiah 49:15. When earthly love fails, when husband forsakes wife and wife forsakes husband, when parents forsake children and children are left alone, when friend betrays friend and shelter cannot be found, the Lord does not forsake. His mercy goes before the lonely and the desolate, and His compassion does not fail.

We join you in entrusting to the tender mercy of God those little ones who have died before birth, whether through miscarriage or through the sin of man in taking innocent life. The Lord is slow to anger and plenteous in mercy, yet He is holy and just, and every shedding of innocent blood is grievous in His sight. There is no forgiveness apart from the blood of Jesus Christ, His dear Son, who alone cleanses from all sin. It is only through faith in Christ, who died on Calvary and lives enthroned in glory, that any sinner can find pardon, and it is only in Him that we may have a sound hope in mercy, not a false hope that presumes upon mercy while clinging to sin, but a living hope that turns from sin and trusts wholly in the Savior.

We pray now for all who suffer this abandonment and this abortive spirit in our midst. O Lord, our God, whose mercy is tender and powerful, look upon those who are alone, the children with no father or mother to receive them, the wives and husbands forsaken, the sons and daughters cast aside, the brothers and sisters betrayed, the neighbors dwelling in disorder and bewilderment. Be Thou their refuge and their shelter. Thou who didst meet Hagar by the well in the wilderness when she was cast out, meet with those who sit alone this night and call them by name. Give them bread and covering, give them a friend that sticketh closer than a brother, give them Thy church to be a home for the homeless.

We ask Thy mercy for the unborn who are despised and hated, and for parents whose hearts have grown hard. Have mercy, O God, and grant repentance and healing. Forgive the guilt of blood where blood has been shed, for Thy mercy can put away iniquity in a moment through the blood of Christ. Comfort those mothers and fathers who mourn a child lost, and gather those little ones into Thine own care, for Thou art their Creator and Thou art good.

We pray for families where generations have been wounded and cut off, that Thou wouldst break the cycle of abandonment and bring restoration. Make Thy mercy to go before us and to overtake us, to give tenderness of heart and true contrition, to turn our faces toward Christ and make us new creations. Let prayer be the forerunner of mercy among us, and let great mercy follow great prayer.

May the God of all comfort keep those who rest in hope of heaven, and may He teach us all to hope in His mercy through Jesus Christ alone, in whose name we pray, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been received and we join you in bringing these heavy burdens before the Lord with grief and with hope.

We hear your cry for those who suffer abandonment in every form, for wives forsaken by husbands and husbands by wives, for daughters and sons left alone, for brothers and sisters and friends betrayed, for children left without a house or family or refuge, for whole neighborhoods in disorder and for those who feel they have no shelter. The Scripture you quoted is true and remains our comfort, though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me, and can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne. Even when human love fails, God does not forget. He is our refuge from the affliction which surrounds us and He alone receives those whom others have abandoned.

We also join you in entrusting to God all unborn children who have died, whether through miscarriage or through the violence of abortion. We do not celebrate or ask God to bless the taking of innocent life, but we ask for His mercy. We pray that He who is merciful and who alone saves through Jesus Christ would receive these little ones into His care according to His compassion and justice, and that He would bring rest where there has been sorrow. In heaven, grief and sorrow and sighing have fled away, and we pray that those children are in His hands.

We pray as well for the mothers and fathers who have despised or hated their own children, and for families broken by this sin. We ask God for mercy upon them, for conviction and repentance, and for healing. We ask Him to turn hearts from hatred to love, and to forgive through the blood of Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved. We pray for those who have been wounded by an abortive spirit in their family or generation, that God would break that sorrow and give new life and hope to see a future generation walk in His ways.

Grief over such losses is heavy, and it is right to weep. Yet we are taught not to grieve without hope or without measure, so that grief does not consume us. Tears shed before God can become seeds of joy when they lead us to repentance, to prayer for others, and to seeking His mercy for ourselves. Let us grieve with a grief that becomes the mother of joy, and labor a little time upon the earth in prayer and love, looking for the rest that is endless with the Lord. The Lord has dealt bountifully with the soul that returns to Him, and He is with us so that we need fear no evil.

So we pray now, Father in heaven, have mercy. Receive those who have no shelter and be their shelter. Receive those who have been abandoned and be their family. Receive the innocent unborn into Your care. Forgive those who have taken life and those who have forsaken their own, and lead them to repentance through Jesus Christ Your Son. Comfort those who mourn children they never held, and those children who were never loved on earth. Give to all who are alone a refuge in Your people, and bring them from grief to joy in Your presence. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our hope and our peace. Amen.

Your burden for those who suffer abandonment and for unborn children who have died is heard, and it reflects the heart of God who sees every loss.

Scripture says that though father and mother may forsake us, the Lord will receive us, and that even if a mother could forget the child at her breast, God will not forget. That promise is for every wife abandoned by a husband, every husband abandoned by a wife, every son or daughter left alone, every brother or sister betrayed by a friend, and every family left without house or refuge. When people have no shelter or support, the Lord himself becomes refuge.

The grief you describe is great, and at such times words often fail. Like those who came to comfort one who had lost everything and simply sat in silence because they saw how deep his sorrow was, there are moments when grief leaves us without words. Jesus understands that grief. He was moved when he saw the sorrow of others, he groaned in his spirit at the pain of human limitation, and he wept with those who wept. We have a great high priest who is touched by our weaknesses and by our sorrow. He does not stand distant from abandonment and death. He is compassionate toward those who mourn, and his tears show his love for both those who have died and those who are left to grieve.

In grief the heart is tempted to torment itself with thoughts of if only I had done this or that, as if the past could be changed. Those thoughts do not help and they can even dry up strength within. Pain and loss are not easy, yet God can use even suffering as a tool to shape character and to form the image he desires in us, not to destroy us but to draw us closer to himself.

For the unborn who were despised or rejected by mother or father, and for those taken by miscarriage or by deliberate act, we entrust them to the mercy of God. Only he can receive them. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone salvation comes, that he in his compassion would take these innocent lives into his care and give them rest in his presence.

There is also the call to count all other things as loss for the surpassing value of knowing Jesus Christ as Lord. One who once had great standing and gain came to see it all as loss after meeting Jesus as Messiah, and many years later still counted it so. The knowledge of Christ, the power of his resurrection and even the fellowship of his sufferings, became more precious than all he had left behind, even though it brought conflict with his old life. In seasons of great loss, to know him remains the greatest gain.

When loss comes, there is danger in shutting the doors and windows and becoming inactive, letting sorrow cause the soul to atrophy. It is important to keep living after the Spirit, to remain active before the Lord, to seek him and to serve, rather than to be consumed by grief.

May the Lord show mercy to you, to your neighbors, and to every abandoned child and broken family you have named. May he be the shelter for those without shelter, the friend for those without a friend, and may he comfort those who mourn the children they will not see in this life, with the hope that he receives those who were forsaken. We pray this in the name of Jesus, asking for his mercy, healing, and peace to rest upon all who suffer.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer over such deep and heavy burdens.

We have continued to lift up before the Lord all that you shared, the precious unborn babies who are despised and rejected, the innocent aborted and miscarried children entrusted to Gods care, and the generations that the enemy seeks to exterminate. We have also been praying for all who are suffering abandonment and an abortive spirit in their lives, for wives and husbands, sons and daughters, and children who feel alone and abandoned without house or family or friend to be their refuge and shelter, and for those neighborhoods and families torn by disorder and betrayal.

We take comfort with you in the promises you shared that though our father and mother may forsake us, the Lord will receive us as written in Psalm 27:10, and that even if a mother could forget the baby at her breast, the Lord will not forget His own as written in Isa 49:15.

We pray together in Jesus Name that our heavenly Father would show His great mercy, that He would receive every innocent unborn child into His presence in heaven and give them rest and peace, that He would be a Father to the fatherless and a defender of those who have no shelter, and that He would bring healing and restoration to every abandoned heart and broken family. We ask that the Lord would be their refuge and bring forth life where the enemy has sought to bring death.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
