Neighborhood’s babies dies unborn environment all dies abortive ancient generations extermination family with their disobedience/ abuse

Your burden for the unborn and for those who feel abandoned and without refuge is heard, and it reflects the heart of God who sees every life He has created.

You quoted two precious promises and they are true. Though a father and mother may forsake a child, the Lord will receive that child. Even if a mother could forget the baby at her breast, the Lord says He will not forget. That is His character. He does not turn away from those who are despised or rejected or left alone. He draws near to them.

Scripture shows that Jesus bore our griefs and infirmities, and Matthew applies that prophecy of Isaiah to the healing work of Jesus among the sick and suffering. That tells us His atonement touches both soul and body, both sin and sickness, both spiritual and physical brokenness. He has power in every realm and authority over every evil, and His compassion moves Him to act.

We do not understand all the ways He heals. Sometimes healing is instant and can be felt in a moment. Sometimes it is gradual and comes through processes He has built into our bodies and minds. Sometimes the deepest healing He does first is within the heart, mending the wounds and scars left by abandonment, betrayal, and grief. He is not limited to one pattern. What we do know is that He is compassionate toward those who grieve. When He raised a little girl from death, He did it out of compassion for her parents in their great sorrow, for the child herself was safe with Him. That shows His heart. The little ones who are lost before birth, whether through abortion or miscarriage, are safe in His care. We can entrust them to His mercy and know He receives them.

For those who remain and carry the pain of being abandoned as a wife, a husband, a son, a daughter, a brother, a sister, or a friend, and for children left alone and for those with no house or family to turn to, God offers Himself as refuge. When earthly family fails, He brings people into His family, the body of Christ, where there is warmth and belonging. He is able to provide shelter, comfort, and community, and to heal the grief that comes from broken relationships. Grief itself is painful, and yet God can use even that sorrow to shape and strengthen the heart as He forms His character in us.

Let us pray together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we ask for Your mercy. Have mercy on every unborn child who is unwanted or hated, and receive each one into Your presence. Forgive the shedding of innocent blood in our neighborhoods and in families across generations, and bring repentance where there has been disobedience and abuse. Comfort every person who suffers under a spirit of abandonment and rejection. Heal those who have lost family, those who have been betrayed by those closest to them, and those who have no home or refuge. Show them that You will not forsake them. Bring healing to their bodies, minds, and hearts, whether quickly or gradually, according to Your wisdom. Provide shelter for the homeless, family for the lonely, and faithful friends who will reflect Your love. Let Your love prevail and teach us to respond to adversity with kindness. We entrust every innocent child to Your care and ask that You make Your refuge known to all who feel alone. Amen.
