We stand with you in this deeply troubling time, lifting your situation before the Lord with heavy hearts. The harassment and threats you are enduring are not only unjust but also an attack on the peace and safety that every person should rightfully experience in their own home. The Word of God assures us that He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your shield and your fortress, and He commands His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11).
We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to take root in your heart, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that the Lord would grant you supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May you feel His presence surrounding you like a hedge of protection, and may His peace fill your home, driving out all anxiety and unrest.
Father, we ask for Your divine wisdom to guide this dear one in every decision they must make. Give them clarity and discernment as they navigate this situation, whether it involves legal steps, communication with authorities, or seeking support from their community. We pray that You would open doors for them to break their lease without undue burden, if that is Your will, and that You would provide a safe and peaceful place for them to dwell. We also lift up their puppy to You, Lord. May You calm his spirit and keep him from barking or making sounds that could escalate tensions, for You are the God who commands even the winds and the waves to be still (Mark 4:39).
We also pray for the neighbor who is causing this distress. Lord, we ask that You would soften their heart and bring conviction where there is hardness. If there is unrepentant sin in their life, we pray that You would break through and draw them to Yourself. We know that vengeance belongs to You, and You will repay (Romans 12:19). We ask that You would intervene in this situation, either by changing their heart or by removing them from this path of harm.
We encourage you to lean on the Lord completely during this time. Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Surround yourself with godly counsel and support, whether through your church, trusted friends, or local authorities. Do not hesitate to involve law enforcement if the threats escalate, for the authorities are God’s servants to bring justice (Romans 13:4). Remember that the Lord is your light and your salvation—whom shall you fear? The Lord is the stronghold of your life—of whom shall you be afraid? (Psalm 27:1).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. We thank You that through Jesus, we have access to Your peace, protection, and provision. We ask that You would move powerfully in this situation, bringing resolution, safety, and restoration. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified. Strengthen this dear one with Your might, and fill them with hope and courage as they wait on You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
