Abortive family ancients exterminate their generation.

Isaiah 49:15Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though

We stand before the throne of grace with heavy hearts as we lift up the profound pain of abandonment, loss, and the tragic reality of unborn lives taken too soon. The weight of these sorrows is not lost on us, for Scripture tells us that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We come before Him now, not in our own strength, but in the name of Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5), for it is only through His sacrifice that we have access to the Father.

The grief of losing family, whether through death, abandonment, or the horrific act of abortion, is a burden no one should carry alone. We mourn with those who mourn, and we weep with those who weep (Romans 12:15). The extermination of generations through the sin of abortion is a grave offense against God’s design for life, for He knit each child together in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-16). Every unborn baby is fearfully and wonderfully made, and their lives are precious in His sight. To those who have participated in or been affected by abortion, we say this: there is forgiveness and healing in Christ. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7), and His mercy is greater than our transgressions. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to repent and turn to Jesus, for He alone can wash away guilt and restore what has been broken.

To those who feel utterly alone, abandoned by spouse, children, parents, or friends, we declare that the Lord will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Even if earthly families fail, God remains your Father, your refuge, and your strong tower (Proverbs 18:10). You are not forgotten, nor are you without hope. The psalmist’s cry in Psalm 27:10 echoes your pain, but it also declares God’s promise: "Though my father and my mother have forsaken me, yet Yahweh will take me up." He is the Father to the fatherless and the defender of the widow (Psalm 68:5). Cling to Him, for He is your shelter in the storm.

For the unborn babies who were despised, rejected, or murdered, we entrust them into the arms of our loving Savior. We believe that God, in His infinite mercy, receives these little ones into His presence, for Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14). Their lives, though brief, were not in vain, for God works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). We pray that He would comfort those who grieve their loss and that He would break the chains of generational sin that have led to the destruction of families.

To those who feel as though they have no home, no family, and no refuge, we say this: Christ is your home. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and in Him, you are adopted into the family of God (Ephesians 1:5). The Church is called to be a family for the lonely, a shelter for the abandoned, and a light in the darkness. If you are struggling to find community, we encourage you to seek out a biblical, Christ-centered church where you can be loved, discipled, and supported.

Now, we lift these burdens to the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened by the pain of abandonment, loss, and the tragedy of lives cut short. Lord, You see every tear, hear every cry, and know the depths of every wound. We ask that You would pour out Your mercy and grace upon those who are suffering. Comfort the brokenhearted, bind up their wounds, and draw near to them in their despair.

For those who have lost family through death or abandonment, we pray that You would be their Father, their Mother, their Friend. Let them know that they are not alone, for You are with them always. Heal their hearts and restore what has been stolen from them. For those who have been affected by abortion, whether as mothers, fathers, or family members, we ask for Your forgiveness and healing. Break the chains of guilt and shame, and lead them into the freedom that is found only in Christ.

For the unborn babies who were taken from this world too soon, we entrust them into Your loving care. We believe that You receive them into Your arms, where there is no more pain, no more sorrow, only eternal joy in Your presence. Lord, we pray that You would turn the hearts of this nation and the world away from the sin of abortion. Raise up voices to defend the innocent and protect the vulnerable.

For those who feel they have no home, no family, and no refuge, we pray that You would be their shelter. Lead them to a community of believers who will love them, support them, and point them to You. Provide for their needs, both physical and spiritual, and let them experience the love of Christ in tangible ways.

Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who conquered sin and death so that we might have life. May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. Strengthen us to be Your hands and feet, bringing hope and healing to a broken world. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

To those reading this, if you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ, we urge you to consider the words of Scripture: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Turn to Him today, repent of your sins, and receive the gift of eternal life. He is waiting with open arms.

We ache with you over these losses, unborn children, abandoned ones, families torn apart. The burden you carry for them is heavy, and we want you to know you are not alone in this grief. So many of those little ones were never held or welcomed, and the pain of that rejection echoes through generations. Yet we hold on to this: the God who formed each life in secret sees every one of them, and He receives the innocent into His mercy with a love that never fails. The same risen Jesus who defeated death is tenderly caring for these babies now, in a place where no hatred or abandonment can ever touch them again.

We also remember that many who live with the ache of having lost a child to abortion, or having been the one who made that desperate choice, carry deep, hidden wounds. If that sorrow is yours personally, we gently encourage you not to let it remain locked away. There are safe, Christ-centered ministries like Silent No More where you can find people who will listen without judgment and walk with you toward healing. God does not intend for us to bear such grief in isolation.

For the abandoned of every age, the homeless, and the betrayed, we ask for God’s provision and protection. He promised to be a Father to the fatherless and to set the lonely in families.

Please pray with us:

Lord Jesus, we lift to You every unborn child whose life was cut short. Receive them into Your eternal care. Wrap Your arms around all who have known rejection, loss, and the pain of family brokenness. Bring healing to those haunted by the past, and raise up communities of grace where they can find refuge and hope. In Your mighty name we pray, amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The cry of your heart has ascended to the throne of the Most High, and He is not deaf to the groanings of His children. You speak of unborn infants, plucked from the womb, and of families shattered by the ancient curse of sin. Let me remind you that these little ones, though they never saw the light of earth, are now bathed in the light of heaven. The same Jesus who took babes in His arms and blessed them has surely received them to Himself. For in the household of God, death has no parting power; the whole family in heaven and earth is one, and the tender Shepherd gathers the lambs to His bosom. No mother may have cradled them, no father named them, but there is a Father who forgetteth not, and a Redeemer who seeth even the sparrow's fall. Into that eternal care we commit them, knowing that He which hath compassion on the destitute will in no wise cast them out.

Your soul is troubled with a sense of abandonment, as if you wandered in a waste howling wilderness. But mark this, child of the covenant: the Well of the Oath is near, and He Who saw Hagar in her misery sees you now. The psalmist cried, "Though my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up," and this promise is yours. The mercy of God overtaketh the fugitive and the forlorn; it questioneth them into repentance, and it leadeth them by the way of love. You speak of a house and refuge found wanting, yet the very God of Heaven is your habitation. He hath prepared a city for all those who look to Jesus, a city where the poor in spirit shall inherit riches of grace, and the broken in heart shall find eternal healing. There is hope in His mercy alone; divorce your soul from any other confidence, for Christ is the ransom found, the surety for the meanest of the flock.

Repair now to the cross, where justice and mercy kiss. There you will see that the Lamb who was slain has borne the sin of the world, and He alone can make you meet for that inheritance where no sorrow dwells. The blood of Jesus speaks better things than the blood of Abel; it crieth not for vengeance but for pardon. Let this be your sole plea: that Christ died for the ungodly, and that His righteousness can cover your shame. Heaven is not a reward for the righteous, but a gift for the guilty who fly to the Savior. And when your spirit is ready to faint, remember that the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear Him, upon them that hope in His mercy. He will compass you about with songs of deliverance, for even now, the kingdom of heaven is ours in foretaste, and the sweetest music of the upper sanctuary is the melody of mercy for the chief of sinners. Lift up your head; redemption draweth nigh.

The ache in your words reaches the throne of God. When you look upon the unborn dragged from life, the generations shattered by abandonment, and the lonely without refuge, you are peering into the deep wound of our fallenness. Yet do not let the darkness swallow hope.

Consider the promise the Prophet Isaiah gave: "Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you." Human love may fail utterly, father, mother, friend, but the Lord does not cast off the soul that turns to Him. The psalmist cried, "Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me." This is not a bare comfort; it is a solid rock. The Maker of life folds every aborted and miscarried child into the safety of His own presence, where no malice can reach.

Yet you must also see that mercy is not merely something we wait to receive. The oil of mercy in your own hands can become a great light, as Scripture says: "Then shall your light break forth as the morning." When you pour out compassion on the destitute, when you shelter the abandoned, when you plead for the helpless, you are kindling a flame that will one day quench the fire of judgment. For the merciful obtain mercy, and nothing so marks the true Christian as a heart that refuses to close itself against the suffering of another.

So, as you lift up these little ones and the broken families, let your prayers be joined to deeds. Ask God for the strength to be a refuge for the forsaken around you. Do not grow weary; He who has shown you mercy in Christ calls you to be that mercy now. Let your alms, your time, your voice defend those who cannot speak. In this, you imitate the Lord who, through sheer goodness, created all things and redeemed us while we were yet His enemies. Entrust every unborn life to His care, and then rise up to mend whatever corner of this shattered world you can reach.

There are days when the weight of abandonment and loss feels like it will crush everything good out of the world. You speak of unborn children, of families wiped out, of being left without house or home or friend. That kind of desolation can make a person wonder if mercy has finally run dry. The cry rises from a place where all human help has vanished, and you are left standing in the wreckage, asking whether God even sees.

Here is what the truth declares and what my own soul clings to in such moments: His mercy endures forever. Not just for the tidy and the whole. Not just for those with intact families and safe shelter. His mercy endures forever for the abandoned and the betrayed, for the little ones no one wanted, for the generations that seem snuffed out before they could flourish. You point to Psalm 27, and rightly so. Though father and mother forsake, the Lord will receive. This is not a wish. It is a promise woven into the character of God Himself. He takes up what others discard. He gathers the outcast.

We do not deserve this. That is the whole nature of mercy. I never come before God asking for justice, because justice would leave me exposed. I come pleading, mercy, Lord, mercy. And He delights to answer. He placed it on His own heart to show compassion. He looks for reasons to be merciful, not reasons to withhold. Through Jesus Christ, mercy and truth have met together. The penalty for every murder, every faithless desertion, every crying injustice has been borne. God can be both perfectly just and overwhelmingly merciful because the payment was already made at the cross. That covers the helpless unborn. It covers the abandoned wife, husband, daughter, son. It covers the one who feels like a beggar with no refuge.

Do not imagine that the depth of your need outstrips the height of His mercy. As the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him. And the heavens keep stretching farther than our instruments can measure. Each fresh discovery only expands the picture of how vast His mercy is. It reaches from everlasting to everlasting, and it is not withdrawn from the broken. The ones who cry out, Son of David, have mercy on me, find that He stops, commands them to be brought near, and acts.

So I join you in entrusting those unborn children to the God who alone can take them to heaven. I pray with you for every soul suffering the wound of abandonment, whether from mother or father or friend. And I remind you for today: you are not beyond the reach of His mercy. Let that truth sink deep, past the chaos and the grief. He receives the forsaken. His mercy endures forever.
