We hear your cry for provision and peace and we join with you in seeking the Lord together for a stable home, for provision, and for rest from stressful situations for you, your family and even the cats entrusted to your care.

We love your faith to claim the promises of God and we stand with you on His word that He is our provider. As it is written, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:19, and But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, Matt 6:33. We also remember the verse you have loosened over your life, Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail, and you will be above only, and you will not be beneath, if you listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God which I command you today, to observe and to do them, Deut 28:13. In its context this promise was given to Israel as they walked in obedience to the Lord, and for us today it reminds us that as we walk in obedience and trust in Christ, God honors our faithfulness and lifts us up, not so we can demand from Him, but so we can serve Him with a steady heart.

We want to gently encourage you that faith is not about speaking life into existence as a formula to force God's hand or repeating a phrase until it must happen, but about humbly submitting our deep needs to our loving Father and trusting His perfect will and timing. He delights to give good gifts, yet His greatest desire is that we find peace in Him even while we wait. We hear the stress in your request and we want to remind you of His invitation to rest, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, and casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you, 1 Pet 5:7. We also cling to Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest, Matt 11:28.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus and through the blood of Jesus that was shed for us, thanking You that we have access to Your throne of grace through Him alone. We lift up this dear one to You and ask that You meet every need according to Your riches in glory. Lord, You know the longing for a permanent home that stays, a safe place to dwell for Your child, for family who may need an extra bedroom or even a couch to rest on, and for the two cats in their care. You know the need for reliable transportation and for steady income. We ask that You open doors that no man can shut and provide a dwelling that is stable and lasting, and work that is dignified and sufficient. We pray for favor, not as the world gives, but as Your hand of grace rests upon those who seek You first. We ask that You remove the weight of stressful situations, especially in the home, and replace anxiety with Your peace that guards heart and mind. Help our dear one to walk in obedience and trust, to be the head and not the tail in spiritual faithfulness, in wisdom and in stewardship, honoring You in all things. We speak not our own demands but Your will be done, trusting that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1. Provide, establish, and keep this home permanently as You see best, and let all provision bring glory to You and draw this family closer to You. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

Wanting a safe, permanent place to rest is a good and understandable desire, and we are praying with you for God's provision and peace in this season.

If you have not already, we encourage you to connect with one trusted local resource who can help you look at practical next steps for housing and support - such as your city or county housing assistance office, a community action agency, or the benevolence ministry at a local church. We are standing with you for steady provision and for wisdom for each decision ahead.

Father, we lift this need to You in Jesus' name. You see the desire for a safe home, for daily needs to be met, and for relief from ongoing stress. We ask for Your care and guidance, for open doors for stable housing and income, for wisdom for those who can help, and for Your peace to guard this heart while You work. Your earnest plea for relief from stress and for a stable place to live has been heard, and we bring your burdens before the Lord with compassion and care.

We understand the deep longing for security, for a home that remains, for provision for yourself and those entrusted to your care, and for peace in place of constant anxiety. God is indeed a Father who knows our needs and invites us to cast all our care upon Him, for He cares for us. Yet we would lovingly point you to a better hope than trying to speak things into existence or to claim verses as formulas to compel God. The blood of Jesus was shed not as an incantation to loosen earthly blessings, but as the precious atonement for sin, that we might be reconciled to God and have peace with Him. And the promise in Deuteronomy 28 was given under the old covenant to Israel, pointing forward to the obedience of Christ, in whom alone we receive every spiritual blessing. Our favor with God does not come by repeating a phrase, but by being found in Christ through faith.

True rest is not found in demanding from God a permanent guarantee of house and income on our terms, but in trusting His wise and fatherly provision. He has promised to supply what we need according to His riches in Christ Jesus, and to work all things for good to those who love Him. Sometimes that provision is abundant, sometimes it is daily bread given one day at a time, but always it is shaped by His love and for our eternal good. The only hope which can bear the stress of your weight and stand the test of trial is hope in Christ Himself.

So we pray for you not as one commanding God, but as a child humbly asking a gracious Father.

Our Father in heaven, we lift this soul to You who knows every need and every fear. Grant repentance toward You and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, that there may be forgiveness of sin and a sure hope of an eternal home with You. Grant peace that passes understanding to quiet an anxious heart, and teach a deeper trust in Your faithful care. In Your mercy and wisdom, provide for daily needs, for stable housing, for honest work and income, and for the care of all You have entrusted to this life. Give wisdom in stewardship, contentment in every condition, and a heart to seek first Your kingdom and righteousness. Lead to a church family where encouragement and help may be found, and conform all things to Your good will. We ask this not because we can claim it by our words, but because of the merits and mercy of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
