We join with you in lifting up your heart’s cry to the Lord, for it is clear you long to stand firmly in His strength and purpose. Your desire to fight in God’s holy army is noble, for we are indeed called to wage spiritual warfare against the forces of darkness. As it is written in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* You are not alone in this battle, for the Lord Himself fights for you, and He has equipped you with His armor to stand firm.
You have also asked for prayer that Jesus will never leave you nor forsake you, and we declare over you the promise of Deuteronomy 31:6, *"Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."* And again in Hebrews 13:5, *"He has said, 'I will never leave you, nor forsake you.'"* Rest in this truth, for Jesus is faithful, and His presence is your strength. He has sealed you with His Spirit as a guarantee of your inheritance in Him (Ephesians 1:13-14).
You have also requested prayer for the Holy Spirit to send billions of angels from heaven to earth. While we know that angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14), we must remember that our trust is not in angels but in the Lord Himself. Psalm 34:7 tells us, *"Yahweh’s angel encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them."* Yet our focus must remain on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), for it is through Him alone that we have victory. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will dispatch His heavenly hosts according to His perfect will and timing.
Finally, you have expressed your longing for Jesus’ return, and we echo your cry with the words of Revelation 22:20, *"Yes, I come quickly. Amen! Yes, come, Lord Jesus."* This is the blessed hope of every believer—the day when our Savior will return to make all things new. Until that day, we are called to live faithfully, watching and praying, for we do not know the hour (Matthew 24:42-44).
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister before You, asking that You strengthen them in the inner man by Your Spirit. Clothe them in Your full armor—truth, righteousness, the Good News of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so they may stand firm against every scheme of the enemy. Remind them daily that You are with them, that You will never leave them nor forsake them, and that Your power is made perfect in their weakness.
Lord, we ask that You fill them with boldness and courage to fight the good fight of faith, knowing that the battle is Yours. Send Your angels to minister to them and protect them, but let their eyes remain fixed on Jesus, the Captain of their salvation. Stir in them a deep hunger for Your Word and a passion for prayer, that they may grow in discernment and wisdom.
We also join with them in crying out for Your soon return, Lord Jesus. Come quickly, we pray! Until that day, help them—and all of us—to live holy and blameless lives, shining as lights in this dark world. May their heart be steadfast, their faith unshaken, and their love for You ever-increasing.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm in the faith, dear one. The Lord is your strength, and He has already won the victory. Keep your eyes on Him, for He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). Do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). The Lord is with you!
