So many of us feel the attendance of church as a duty and not an obligation to Him. I have been there many a time Jeff. I hope that you can find a church to do more than just belong but actually feel at home. I pray that God guides you toward that place and that you are able to maintain your job. I pray God sends insight to your co-workers and they realize just how many people could be hurt through these actions. Father, please grant this brother through spiritual insight and with the gift of steady employment.
