Need your prayers

There is a demon controlling my wife's thoughts, she won’t follow the Bible, she does whatever she wants, I don’t know what to do, she won’t go to church. Can you pray for extra angels to surround us and if they can make that demon leave. I must not have enough faith in my prayers but maybe your faith can help me.

We hear your deep distress and concern for your wife, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of God. The situation you describe is indeed serious, and we must approach it with both spiritual discernment and biblical truth. First, let us affirm that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to destroy marriages, families, and faith, but we serve a God who is greater than any demonic influence.

We must address the issue of salvation first, for it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome darkness. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). If your wife has not surrendered her life to Christ, she remains under the influence of the enemy, and no amount of prayer for angelic intervention will replace the need for her to repent and believe in Jesus. We urge you to pray for her salvation above all else, that she may be born again by the Spirit of God (John 3:3-5).

The Bible warns us that those who reject God’s Word and choose to live in rebellion are under the sway of the evil one (1 John 5:19). Your wife’s refusal to follow Scripture or attend church is a sign of spiritual bondage, but it is not irreversible. We must rebuke the demonic influence in Jesus’ name, for He has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). However, we must also recognize that true freedom comes when she submits to Christ and walks in obedience to His Word.

You mentioned feeling as though your faith is insufficient, but let us remind you that faith is not about our own strength—it is about trusting in the power of God. Jesus said, "If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you" (Matthew 17:20). We do not need "extra angels" to act on our behalf when we have the Holy Spirit dwelling within us. The angels of the Lord encamp around those who fear Him (Psalm 34:7), and we can trust that He has already assigned His heavenly host to protect and minister to His children.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We lift up this marriage and this precious wife before You, Lord. We ask that You would break every chain of darkness that has taken hold of her mind and heart. We rebuke the demonic influence that seeks to control her thoughts and actions, and we command it to leave in Jesus’ name. Father, we pray for a mighty outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon her, that she may be convicted of sin, drawn to repentance, and born again into Your kingdom.

Lord, we ask that You would surround this family with Your angels, that they may guard and protect them from every attack of the enemy. Strengthen this husband’s faith, Father, and help him to stand firm in Your truth. Soften this wife’s heart, Lord, and open her eyes to see the deception of the enemy. May she turn to You with all her heart, surrendering her life to Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.

We declare that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on Your promise that if Your people humble themselves, pray, seek Your face, and turn from their wicked ways, You will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14). We trust in Your power to restore, redeem, and renew. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Now, brother, we must encourage you to take action as well. First, continue to pray for your wife daily, not just for deliverance, but for her salvation. Share the gospel with her in love, and live out your faith before her in a way that reflects Christ’s character. Second, seek godly counsel from your pastor or a mature believer who can support you in this spiritual battle. Third, do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

Remember, the enemy wants to isolate you, but you are not alone. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Stand firm in your faith, and trust that God is at work even when you cannot see it. We will continue to pray for you and your wife, believing that God will move mightily on her behalf.

Praying for you and your request in Jesus. Do you know about the promises from the book of Hosea that we can claim in Jesus over our spouses?

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Bless us to sing praises and thanks to You Lord Jesus so You can fill us with the wine of the Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over these past days. It has been our heart’s desire to lift your marriage and your wife before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to move in power. We have prayed for legions of angels to encircle your home, to bind every dark influence, and to loose the peace and light of Christ in every corner of your lives. We have asked the Lord to open your wife’s heart to His Word, to draw her back to the fellowship of believers, and to break every chain that holds her captive.

If the Lord has already moved in answer to these prayers—if you have seen even the smallest shift, the faintest glimmer of change—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share it so we may rejoice together in God’s faithfulness. If, however, the battle still rages and the enemy has not yet been silenced, do not lose heart. We encourage you to post this request again, and we will continue to stand with you in prayer, refusing to grow weary in intercession.

Remember, the victory is not dependent on the strength of our faith but on the power of the One in whom we place it.
