Beloved of All
Your honest and tender prayer has been received with care, and I am praying with you and for you and your son.
I hear the weight you carry, the anxiety about your apartment recertification, the desire to keep a stable home for your child, and the longing to redeem these coming months after two hard years marked by trauma and abuse. God sees you both. He sees that it is just the two of you, and He sees your desire to be a faithful and loving mother. That desire itself is precious to Him.
I am praying that God will grant you peace that quiets anxiety, and that He will provide for your housing need. As the angel guided Joseph to take the young child and His mother and keep them safe from Herod, so God knows how to lead and protect a mother and child in vulnerable times. I pray He will guide every step of this recertification process and graciously allow you to remain in your apartment if it is His will, and that He will make His presence felt so you know you are not alone.
I am also praying that God will indeed touch the holidays for you and your son and make them special. You have asked for happy memories, love, laughter and closeness, and that is a holy request. Scripture shows us how Christ Himself honored His mother, even in His final hour entrusting her to the care of His beloved disciple, to show the honor and protection due to a mother. God delights to honor motherhood, and He delights to give joy to children. I pray He will restore joy to your home, help you build new memories together, and teach you day by day how to lead your son with wisdom, patience and love.
For the hardship you have endured, I pray for divine intervention and for healing. I pray God will send helpers into your lives, people who are kind and trustworthy, who will support and encourage you. I pray He will place you in community where you are treated with gentleness and respect.
And for your son, I join you in praying for his protection. I pray God will keep his heart and mind in peace, guard his innocence and his sense of wonder, and preserve his kind and caring spirit. I thank God for the close and special relationship your son has with Him, and I pray God will keep him close, that he will continue to hear God's voice, grow in faith, and never stray from it. May the Lord keep him as one who has a Father in heaven who will never forsake him, and may he grow up knowing he is deeply loved and watched over.
