We hear your cry for protection, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting you up before the throne of grace. The Scriptures assure us that our God is a refuge and a fortress, a very present help in times of trouble. Psalm 91:9-11 declares, "Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We claim this promise over your life, believing that the Lord will surround you with His heavenly host, shielding you from every scheme of the enemy.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of fear, intimidation, and harm that may be lurking in the shadows, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your light and your salvation—whom shall you fear? The Lord is the strength of your life—of whom shall you be afraid? (Psalm 27:1).
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:10-18 instructs us, "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our dear brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine protection to surround them day and night. Lord, You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust. We ask that You would dispatch Your holy angels to encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways. Shield them from the attacks of the enemy, and let no harm come near their dwelling.
Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and destruction that seeks to harm them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. Lord, fight for them as You have promised in Your Word. Be their light and salvation, their strength and their shield.
We pray that You would strengthen them with the full armor of God, that they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Clothe them with Your truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God. May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Lord, we also ask that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding, acknowledging You in all their ways so that You may direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your unfailing love and Your mighty power to protect and deliver. May Your name be glorified in their life, and may they walk in the victory that is theirs through Jesus Christ our Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to stand firm in your faith, knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Walk in the confidence that comes from knowing that you are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37). The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore (Psalm 121:5-8). Be encouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).
