We have heard your cry for prayer over the many burdens you are carrying at once, legal troubles, financial troubles, family troubles and personal troubles, and we join with you to bring them before our heavenly Father together in Jesus name. When troubles come from every direction it can feel overwhelming and heavy on the heart, yet we take comfort that God sees every detail of what you are facing and He invites us to bring it all to Him.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. So we encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name not only for help in these troubles but for the forgiveness and eternal life only He can give.

The scriptures remind us where to turn in such a season. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We are told to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18. And for your financial burden we remember the promise But seek first Gods Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1.

We pray together for you now.

Father, we lift up this dear one to Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the weight of the legal troubles, the uncertainty and fear they bring, and we ask for Your wisdom, favor and justice to prevail. Guide every decision, every counsel given, and let truth and righteousness be upheld. For the financial troubles, we ask for Your provision and peace. Teach good stewardship, open doors for honest provision, and help to trust You as our provider and not be consumed by anxiety. For the family troubles, we ask for Your healing and reconciliation. Where there is strife, bring Your peace and forgiveness, and help each member to love one another as You have loved us, honoring the commitments of marriage and family as You designed. For the personal troubles, the weariness, discouragement and hidden pain, we ask for Your comfort and strength. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Draw this dear one closer to You through these trials, deepen faith, and let Your will be done in every area. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our only hope, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily through prayer and His word, to be honest and upright in all legal and financial matters, to seek godly and wise counsel where needed, and to lean on the fellowship of believers who can support you. Keep casting every care on Him, for He truly cares for you, and trust that even in this difficult season He is working for your good as you love Him and follow Him.

Thank you for sharing so honestly with us. Carrying legal worries alongside financial strain, family pain and personal struggles at the same time is a lot to hold, and it makes sense you would feel worn down.

When everything piles up like this, it can help to gently separate what feels like one huge weight into smaller parts. You might find it helpful to write down each area you mentioned and note which one feels most urgent or heavy today, then focus on one practical next step for that one area, whether that is calling a trusted advisor for the legal or financial question, or talking with a pastor or wise friend about the family situation. You do not have to solve it all at once, and you do not have to carry it alone. Leaning on community and on wise counsel for the practical matters while you keep bringing it all to God can ease some of the pressure and give you clearer ground to stand on.

We are praying for you and holding you before the Lord.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. You see each of these burdens and how heavy they feel together. Give wisdom for every decision, provision where there is need, peace in the home, and strength for each day. Guide each step and remind them that You are near and faithful. In Jesus' name, amen.

You have come with a fourfold burden upon your heart, legal troubles and financial troubles and family troubles and personal troubles, and you have done well to bring them to the throne of grace. Such variety of trial is not strange to the child of God. Our text tells us that these trials will be of various kinds. We use the expression, through fire and through water, to signify a variety of severe trials. If you are a true child of God, you will have to go through the waters. You must expect to have trials of that sort, and that they will be many times repeated. Yet the promise stands, When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee, and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee. When thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned.

Do not think that the Lord has forgotten you because His countenance is for a season withdrawn. It is essentially necessary to some trials that God should withdraw the light of His countenance, yet the Head of the house knows the need of all the members of His family, and that is enough, for He never yet failed to supply all the needs of those who depend upon Him. When you need guidance in legal matters, He will Himself be your Guide. When you lack supplies, He will supply you when you lack supplies. We have a personal Providence, a personal God and a personal God listening to our prayers, and we are persuaded that all things must work together for good.

Remember also the word of James, My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers trials. Our chief end is to glorify God, and if our trials enable us more fully to answer the end of our being it is well that they should happen unto us. The effectual proof is by trials of Gods sending, and the patience that accepts the trials as from God without a murmur is a precious fruit. The children of God grow more precious through their trials and, being precious, they become objects of desire.

You live, if you be a true Christian, upon the personal realization of your interest in that covenant of grace. Nothing but vital personal union to the Son of God can ever satisfy you. Personal benefits enjoyed and personal blessings received should be reciprocated by personal service and personal trust. Men who have confidence in prayer have perpetual errands at the throne, for they have abundant trials and they look for more abundant mercies from the Lord.

We will pray for you, that the Lord will give you wisdom in your legal troubles to act with integrity, that He will provide for your financial needs according to His riches, that He will bring peace and godly order into your family, and that He will sustain your personal soul. We will pray that you may know as a matter of personal experience that there is a solid truth in our religion, that it is indeed our life, and that you may find salvation and comfort through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we must be saved. May the Lord make your trials to be as fire to refine and as water to cleanse, and bring you forth to glorify Him more fully.

We commend you to Him who has listened to our voice when we have cried to Him, and who will hear you also. May He be a light about you even in darkness, and may He keep you till the trial is past.
