Disciple of Prayer
For the past couple of nights I haven't slept. This morning I had a bad panic attack. I've been undergoing alot of spiritual attacks and its been overwhelming. Please pray for peace in Jesus name and God bless

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this battle, lifting you up before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). These spiritual attacks are real, and the anxiety they bring can feel suffocating, but we serve a God who is greater than all the powers of darkness. "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).

First, we must address the foundation of your faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome these attacks. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If you have already done this, we reaffirm that the Holy Spirit dwells within you, and His power is greater than any fear or attack.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is under spiritual attack and struggling with fear, anxiety, and sleeplessness. Lord, You are the Prince of Peace, and we ask that You would break every chain of fear and oppression that the enemy has placed upon them. Fill them with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and torment in Jesus' name. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, and we ask that You would surround them with Your angels for protection and deliverance.

Lord, grant them restful sleep tonight and every night. Renew their strength as they wait upon You (Isaiah 40:31). Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, reminding them of Your promises and Your unfailing love.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment. Show them any areas of their life where the enemy may have gained a foothold, and give them the strength to surrender those areas to You. Help them to draw near to You, for as they do, You will draw near to them (James 4:8).

Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that our brother/sister is more than a conqueror through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm in the armor of God, resisting the devil so that he will flee from them (James 4:7).

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm on the Word of God. Here are some scriptures to meditate on and declare over your life:

- "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7).
- "The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1).
- "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God" (Philippians 4:6).
- "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to:

1. Put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

2. Spend time in worship and praise. The enemy cannot stand in the presence of praise. "But You are holy, O You who inhabit the praises of Israel" (Psalm 22:3).

3. Surround yourself with godly community. Do not isolate yourself. Share your struggles with trusted believers who can pray with you and encourage you.

4. Forgive others and yourself. Unforgiveness can open the door to spiritual attacks. "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you" (Matthew 6:14).

5. Guard your heart and mind. Be mindful of what you watch, listen to, and think about. "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things" (Philippians 4:8).

Remember, the battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). You are not alone, and this season of attack will not last forever. God is faithful, and He will see you through.

We’re so sorry you’ve been walking through nights without sleep and that panic hit hard this morning. That kind of exhaustion and fear can feel unbearable on its own, and when it comes with a sense of spiritual attack, it’s even more overwhelming. We want you to know we hear you, and we’re truly with you in prayer.

While we ask God for His peace, it’s also completely okay to reach out for practical help. When sleeplessness and sudden panic keep happening, a visit with your doctor or a trusted Christian counselor can be a wise step, not as a lack of faith, but as good stewardship of the body and mind God gave you. Sometimes our nervous systems just need a little support to reset, and there’s no shame in that. Even in the short term, when anxiety spikes, reminding yourself of simple truth can help anchor you: God is here. I am safe in His hands. Slowing your breathing for a minute or two can also settle your body enough to rest.

We’re standing with you, and we’ll keep praying.

Lord Jesus, we lift up our friend to You right now. Calm the racing heart, still the anxious thoughts, and break the grip of this sleeplessness. Surround them with Your presence that brings real peace, peace that doesn’t make sense in the middle of the storm but holds steady anyway. Guard their mind from every spiritual attack and let them feel Your nearness through the night. Give them wisdom about what help to seek, and bring kind, skilled people alongside them. Thank You that You never leave us. In Your mighty name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The soul’s conflict comes and we are troubled because we do not care to be disturbed in our false peace. But what is this panic but a stirring from the enemy to drive you from the Rock? Satan makes conscience lie still that his power may be confirmed, yet when he roars, it is a sign his overwhelming defeat draws near. Take yourself to the hind part of the ship near to the Steersman, and go to sleep in peace. It is the best thing you can do, for the ship is safe, though winds and waves assault her keel, He does preserve it, He does steer. Your sleeplessness and panic are but the shakings that remind you: peace that stands on feelings is no peace at all. He that has Christ has a peace that passes all understanding, a peace gleaning with heavenly light even in the midnight of this world of care. It is not that you are to be a peace unto yourself, nor do your tears or prayers give it, He is our peace. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within.

You must go to the Cross if you want peace concerning these overwhelming assaults. The Lord has endless, boundless peace within Himself, and when you are troubled, He is unmoved. Cry to Him, “Lord, renew my peace.” Let your mind be stayed on Him, trusting in His finished work. This peace is a sea that has no bottom nor shore, a peace of intense restfulness. It is God’s own child, God-like in its character, the very calm of the Eternal Son. Do not seek peace first; seek Christ first. Peace will come next. And when it does, it will be a present possession, even with sorrows surging round, even when death shadows you and yours. Jesus has vanquished death and all its powers.

Go in peace. This dismissing word will last you as long as you live. As you go through this dark vale, as you lie down to rest, as you rise to face the battle, “Go in peace.” It is Heaven begun below. The God of Peace bless you with His own unruffled calm, for He is our peace, yes, perfect peace.

The sleepless nights and panic you endure are heavy, and the spiritual assault is real. But the peace you must seek is not a mere calm that comes when all is quiet; it is the peace which Christ alone gives, the peace that surpasses all understanding. This peace does not depend on the absence of trouble. It dwells in the soul that clings to Christ even when the storm rages. He said, “My peace I give unto you”, not as the world gives, but a peace that renders you stronger, a peace that unites you to Heaven itself.

The enemy seizes upon you so violently because he sees you isolated, worn down by sleeplessness, and feeling alone in the fight. When we are alone, he strikes with greater boldness, just as he did with Eve in the garden. So you must not remain in solitude. Run to the assembly of the faithful; let their prayers enfold you. In the Church, the greeting of peace is pronounced again and again, because where two or three are gathered, Christ stands in the midst, and His peace flows through the members of His body.

Now is the time to put into practice the training you have had in days of calm. The soldier, though no war disturbs him, keeps up his exercises daily. So you must now wield the weapons you have: prayer without ceasing, the Scriptures, the Name of Jesus invoked against every dark thought. Follow peace with all men and strive for holiness, for this is the road that leads to the vision of God. Let nothing provoke you to bitterness or discord, for outward peace with others clears a path for inward peace with God.

The very fact that you ask for prayer shows you have not surrendered; the Spirit is upholding you. And I tell you, the peace of God shall mount guard over your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the peace that passes all comprehension, the peace that is the mother of all good things. I join my supplication to yours: May He who is our Peace still these alarms, grant rest to your body and soul, and make you more than conqueror through Him who loved us. Hold fast. You are not forgotten before the throne of grace.

The enemy is attacking your mind because he knows a restless, fearful believer is a believer who feels cut off from the peace God has already given. Those sleepless nights and that wave of panic are not random; they are the flack from a spiritual battle. The most crucial step right now is to recognize this for what it is. This is not merely an emotional struggle or a physical issue with sleep, this is a direct, spiritual attack. Until you recognize the source, you end up fighting in the flesh, flailing at the air while the enemy pummels you from a position you haven’t identified. But once you see it clearly, you can deal with it decisively.

Satan often works this way. When you are weary and your strength is decayed, he whispers the lie that you just want to give up. He uses the hard things from inside and outside to pour a false peace over your mind, what scripture calls a cry of "peace, peace" when there is no peace. But the true peace you are asking for in Jesus' name is not a cease-fire from circumstances or a numbed sensation. It is the living fruit of the Spirit, a quiet confidence that God is in control even when your own mind feels out of control. That peace guards your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Now, recognize the attack and then resist. Do not fall into the trap of trying to straighten out every scary thought or defend yourself against every anxious feeling that bombards you. That is a battle in the flesh, and you will lose. The weapons for this are not carnal; physical remedies alone cannot win a spiritual war. Your weapons are mighty through God. The Word of God is your sword. When the panic rises, do what Jesus did in the face of the enemy’s assault: speak the truth aloud. Say, “It is written, ‘You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You.’” Use specific promises. This is how you resist the devil so he will flee from you.

Prayer is the other decisive weapon. You asked for prayer, and I am holding you up now. But you, too, must pray with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit. Prayer is not a passive last resort; it is the active weapon that sets a watch against the enemy day and night. As you pray and wield the Word, you are not just defending; you are pulling down the strongholds of fear and panic the enemy tries to build in your mind. Do not grow complacent or settle for a spiritual plateau where you simply learn to live with the harassment. Stand up in the protection and authority of Jesus' name, claim the peace He has already given you, and let that peace and love, with faith, be multiplied to you right now.
